- This one makes me sad in a way i can't describe.

- I don't know what to think about it. Is it two friends? Two sisters? Are they having fun?

- absolutely ridiculous

- ladder made of cats. hopefully this is a pun.

- the pun spirits are usually harmless

- if it's an idiom we're in trouble

Caught-on-Tober prompt 8: Campsite Visitor

- not our photo. found on polaroid in campsite. wyoming

- wyoming has neither local tapir nor octopus population

- looked so floppy

- honestly kind of a whimsical guy. would be fun to smash heads

caught-on-tober prompt 2: Washed Up [nameless assistant, 4:22 AM] - it looks miserable but the notes say it made “real joyous sounds” - two creatures? One creature? Hundreds? - how much of it is plant - how much is flesh - how much is dead - smelled like burnt peppermint coffee. - (incidentally the unburnt kind is the professor’s favorite) - it probably had more eyes

- new moon. - looks about 7pm, maybe 6ish - couldn't really float. just toddled down the road. - antennae or something worked like a little light - cars kept veering at it - looked like plastic. bounced slightly - no clue what those flaps are - smelled like petrichor - 'no taste' - professor - professor did you taste the fucking thing? - professor did it let you lick it

Unfortunately, the end of the Pumpkin Parade has been delayed by the California Wildfires. Don’t worry. It will come, sooner than later. It is inescapable.

Mummetal, the Mummified Spirit. [FAITH][METAL]

Floating in formation, these unsettlingly stoic spirits find a joy in the Parade their blank faces refuse to express. They're affiliated with the Extraterrestrials as well, and possess eerie psychic powers they can use to examine, heal and lift beings. It's debated whether their eyes are the slits on their faces or the cones surrounding their heads.

Fun fact: while the stripes on their body appear to be metal or cloth, they've got a texture more akin to wrinkled flesh.

Terrorororse

[FEAR]

And what would a parade be without horses? Terrorororses earn their spot in the parade in more than one way though; they feed on any fear they can. It's a little surprising they're not more bitter, seeing as they're usually the ghosts of horses who died midrun. Their staggering gait and rotten smell give them an almost zombielike feel, but they're spirits same as most.

Fun fact: Horses can always see Terrorororses. This is part of why they're so jumpy...and what makes them such a good food source for these spirits.
