Gavin Reed is partnered up with Hank and Connor on a case, much to the disgust of all three of them. However, something changes and Connor finds himself compelled to obey everything Reed tells him to do. With Reed finally getting his petty revenge on Connor for merely existing, Connor tries to make Hank aware of the nightmare he's stuck in.

the reason i think gavin reed would actually be intelligent and good at his job as a detective is because in college as a gen z kid he would really fucking hate chatgpt while everyone else his age would use it for literally everything n gavin would be one of the only ones who didn't even touch it with a ten foot pole so his brain didnt rot away from using AI. he was the only one spending hours at the library and doing cold case programs and investigations like a fucking nerd (/affectionate) instead of letting AI do everything for him. and yes he does think of himself as morally and intellectually superior to those who use chatgpt for anything. plus i believe hes passionate about his work as a detective and its one of the things that he actually cares about. good for him im proud of him

Quick drawings because I was thinking about what Connor would wear after deviating and getting to choose something else to the clothes Cyberlife picked for him.

I feel like he would wear a lot of Hanks old outgrown clothes since following the revolution he wouldn’t really have anything to his name after being cut off from Cyberlife. Besides, dads old t-shirts are the most comfortable of them all :)

i think connor uses deviancy to be sassy but overall a kind-hearted person, and nines uses deviancy exclusively to be an asshole. the only difference between original android nines and deviant nines is that he's more creative with his insults (in my minds eye)
