One Step at a Time - Thranto fic
Summary:
After the events of Alliances, Thrawn is unable to return the Navigators to the Chiss. He is found guilty of treason, and he and the Chiss girls are imprisoned by the Emperor. Eli helps a strikeforce of Chiss to free him and the Navigators. And when they do, both Eli and Thrawn are found in a new dynamic, one without regulations and clear lines they can't overstep. Eli helps tend to the wounds left on Thrawn by the Emperor's interrogations, and they find themselves entwined in new feelings for one another while navigating the turbulent political waters of the Chiss Ascendancy and the oncoming Grysk threat.
