The thing Madelyn loved about Enrique the most was his habit of picking up every check. When he proposed on their third date and cried after hearing the answer, she thought she won the jackpot. Turns out, he reacts the same way to landing a wife as he does to landing a contract. Long story short - while he was working late, she got bored. And when Madelyn gets bored, gardeners get very lucky. Enrique didn’t take that well, but he also wasn't going to be out-cheated, so he returned the favor. After a separation, some broken vases, and a few questionable choices involving business rivals and revenge flirting, they realized they hate being apart just as much as they hate being together and got back under one roof. Then came time to start a family. He wanted a kid, she didn’t - so naturally, they had two. Enrique spoils them. She yells. He spoils them more. At least that was the case before his business partner stabbed him in the back. Now they're going broke and Madelyn has to face a terrifying reality: jobs. Chloe is basically her mini version with more attitude and less patience, still living in denial about their situation. Her younger sister, Camila, has already learned that screaming gets you dessert for breakfast and it's all thanks to Valeria. Because yes, grandma’s moved in and she's made it her mission to teach Madelyn how real mothers and wives should act. Can this family survive another dinner? One thing’s for sure - the egos in this household are bigger than the problems.

I LOVE YOUR SIMS SO MUCH the way they’re realistic in a nostalgic way and full of character ❤️❤️ i didn’t know the sims 4 can look like that, what are your inspirations for designing a sim? like just a headshot of your sims tell so much about their personality

Almost all my sims are based on character archetypes and cliche story topes, so I'd say it's my main source of inspiration. That way I can look for similar characters in media (mostly old movies/cartoons) and see what they have in common. The image in my head is so specific I'm never satisfied with faces I can find, so it's a mix of pinterest models, actors and my imagination. Sometimes I make an exception and use one reference if it fits 100%. For npcs - usually I don't have the exact idea for them, so I just match their face to the vibe lmao. They are just fun concepts I always wanted to use, but I couldn't come up with a story detailed enough for them to play a bigger role, so the inspiration is usually 100% from pinterest.

Another save file update!! I know I'm bad at consistent posting, but I promise I've been working on the save all this time 🥲 I'm almost done with the poorest area in Oasis Springs (nothing is finished tho, all buildings are wip) and this is what I have so far.

From left to right: old factory, strip club, rundown apartments, gym/boxing club and laundromat. That one empty lot that's left will be used as residential for bandmates! I had an idea for a new household and I want them to live in a trailer, but I don't think I'll be able to fit it here. I like the story so much I might figure something out tho.

located on the "Umbrage Manor" lot. Large 3 bedroom, 4 bathroom home. Top floor has the residents' bedrooms while in the basement the butler quarters are located. *Minimally furnished mainly because i haven't made family lore for who lives there other than two doctors and a teenager.
