Empathetic Level Personality Disorder

A medically unrecognized disorder that has traits from all PD clusters and is therefore a cluster D PD. This disorder is characterized by conditional hyper empathy and conditional low/non existent empathy. This empathy fluctuation can affect how the person views people, and how much they possibly care about certain groups or people they have no empathy for. The empathetic fluctuations can also cause social isolation at times due to how debilitating the hyper empathetic can be but at the same time how much guilt low empathetic episodes can cause. It can be debilitating when in hyper empathetic episodes which cause panic attacks, SH, and more, or cause the person to reach out to abusers to help the abuser feel better or change.

• anxiety about empathy levels

• high flucuating conditional empathetic emotions

• debilitating emotions surrounding ability to aid others they're hyper empathetic towards.

• irritability or anger around those they have no/low empathy towards

• narcissistic view of oneself or views of those hyper empathetic towards being superior than those the person has no empathy towards

• dramaticized self importance or importance of groups one is hyper empathetic towards

• breakdowns due to emotions or relationships tied to the vastly different empathetic levels
