A gorgeous story looking at the time between TK wakes up and when he's moved into the loft. Gives all of those moments I would have loved to see on screen that we didn't get.

shape-shifting in an endless sleep which i know people in my comments will never forgive me for

lead me somewhere i've never been which is my happiest fic in general marjan and tk have my whole heart

i got a few hate comments on hands are tied and clocks are ticking but other than that and the occasional hate for never updating that one mha fic even though its been three years i don't really get hate comments

once and it sucked!!

probably the nyc fics i started back in 2020 with my oc khai because i love him but i feel like i would have to entirely rewrite the 9k i have for them to make even the slightest bit of sense

What are your writing strengths?

i dont really think i have strengths but i had to answer this for my creative writing degree recently and i said details. i like to think that i include a lot of details and make them somewhat significant

What are your writing weaknesses?

pacing. i always think im writing too much or too little in a set amount of words.

love it. i could never write it because the only language i could do myself would be japanese

not as well or as often as i should. i always intend to, but then i see the notification about a new comment when i'm busy and never get back to it until it feels like too much time has passed so i don't respond and then i feel bad about it and then i forget again and then im reminded and the cycle continues

i'm not one for an unhappy ending but both family is not always the picture that comes with the frame and sugar, butter, flour have not so happy endings

i mostly write happy endings, but the ending to are you kitten me is the first that came to mind, it's not at all canon compliant after season four, but one of the happiest and most hopeful i've written

none on published fics, but i have had a few hateful anon asks about snippets of nancymarjan wips i've posted before

i do not, it is not one of my strengths

i feel like i'm okay at dialogue

everything? but if i had to pick one thing then starting six new fic ideas before i finish the 15 i've already started and then finishing none of them is a big one. my brain is going a million miles an hour at all times and i don't always have the energy to keep up

Thoughts on dialogue in another language?

i love reading it but it's something i am not super comfortable writing without a lot of research because i only speak the one language and i'd hate to offend anyone with sterotypes and bad google translate

First fandom you wrote in?

i've been writing (but not always sharing) fics for so long I couldn't really tell you, but the first one i've actually stuck with writing for has been 911 lone star, it really reignited my passion for writing after a very long hiatus

strays, it's such a silly fic but i had so much fun writing it

I'm partial to nuts and bolts (Schitt's Creek). I need to write more SC fic!

Nope! Everything has been well-intentioned, even if a comment hits me weird.

I haven't done a crossover, but I got an ask about crossovers the other day and I haven't stopped thinking about Judd Ryder in California so maybe I'll have to write that.

I haven't but I think it'd be tons of fun and a great challenge.

Honestly, if it's queer and the characters have good chemistry I'm all aboard (but if I have to pick it's Buddie or Tarlos).

What's a wip you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

I have one, the very first I started in earnest, an au where Patrick is a musician who breaks up with his girlfriend and becomes the focus of a lot of speculation about his sexuality. His publicist, Alexis Rose, calls in a favor from her reclusive writer brother to let Patrick stay with him until the media dies down. That's all I got and there's not really a plot that's calling to me after that yet. Maybe someday!

What are your writing strengths?

Dialogue? I hope characterization. I also think pacing/flow comes fairly organically to me, and I can usually make plot decisions and stick with them (mostly.).

What are your writing weaknesses?

I have a pretty brain-intensive 8-5, so sometimes when I come home to write I have no brain left but I want to write, and then I feel like I write really generally and can't get what's in my head down on paper exactly how I want. Like I write a few hundred words and think back and go, "Huh. The word count went up so I guess I wrote something? No idea what though." And it's a crapshoot on whether I want to go back through the fic and fix those things.

Thoughts on dialogue in another language?

I'm semi-comfortable with a phrase here or there in my own work as long as it's a language I'm a little familiar with, but beyond that I'm out of my depth.

9-1-1: Lone Star (and the thunder rolls)

and i'll leave my heart wide open. (i will love and have no fear). It was such a challenge to write for my first fic exchange on a deadline and I really love the way it turned out.

probably 80% of them? i love a happy ending. i guess all of my wildest dreams end up with you and me. but that could also be recency bias.

oh do i! there was a point where i was deleting nasty comments on my nancymarjan fics daily. that's slowed down with guest comments being disabled on AO3 and having my anon asks off.

i think my anxiety gets the best of me? like i tell myself "no one cares, my writing is trash, others will do these stories better than me, is it worth the hate?" and psych myself out.

i adore reading it, but i fear i would not get it right and i would never want to do it wrong.
