#prev tags are sooo correct ily ily ily#literally…..#ngl even tho it was definitely not as good as it could have been#i think bones did really well on the front of LGBT issues given the fact it was a crime procedural on FOX during the 2000s#like there were some issues but it was generally shown in a primarily positive light#and when booth was being bigoted the other characters typically corrected him#which imo since Booth obviously portrays the everyman arc#was a good method for sowing the seeds of acceptance into the viewership#there were big big big issues with the show in many ways that I completely hate (particularly a lot of overt racism and islamicism)#but that is one thing I genuinely believe they mostly did well on#or at least if there were issues it was out of ignorance not malice#bones tv#rivers bones ramblings yadayada
