Update - 05/02/2025

So! It's been a while.

This might be a bit of a long post, so I really apologize for that, but I wanted to give everyone following a good run-down of what's been going on for me, personally, and how that effects the Demo's progress.

So, around March of last year, I opened up for writer applications. Around the same time, I ended up losing my job. For the next full year-ish amount of time, I'd been job searching, and the financial strain along with the stress of being unemployed (for, again, almost a full year) made it very hard to focus on anything else, much less working on the writing.

In February of this year, I got a job! Two months later, I'm laid off. Once again, I've been tossed back into the pit that I did my best to claw my way out of, and once again, I am consumed with financial strain and stress. I am still working on as much of the Demo as is humanly possible at this point in time, but things have been more than rough.

That all probably sounds like excuses, and I wouldn't blame you for feeling that way. You would think having all that free time would make writing easier. I do have a small team of writers helping to finish the Demo as it is, but that is also going very slowly.

I was hoping to have things finished by this point, and all I can say is that I'm sorry it's all taken so long. I'm not sure where the direction with the game will be going from here, but I really don't want to give up on the idea yet.

One question, will the demo be able to be played on Android phones or will it only be available on computers???

PC Only! I have no idea how to port games for mobile. ;w;

You have no idea how happy I am to know that there is a mtmte dating sim in the works!!! I am genuinely so excited!! I couldn't believe it took me this long to discover this project!! I can't wait to play!

Hello!! I just came across this, and I think it is such a cool project!! I love it when people do creative stuff like this. I would love to try applying when the artist applications come out. Best of luck!! :D. I am genuinely in AWE when people enjoy a franchise enough to come together and make a grueling project.

UPDATE - Gen. Updates + Everything Else

Hello! Wow, I have not updated this blog in a while.

I am so sorry for that! A lot has been doing on in my life recently (losing my job, the death of a loved one, Extreme burnout, health issues), but none of that is any kind of excuse for letting this project go untouched for as long as it has.

This project is not dead! Not by a long shot! I am 100% dedicated to getting this Demo put together and available to play as soon as is humanly possible.

On that note, I'm going to be opening up Writer Applications around the beginning of June! (I know I promised that a long time ago, and again I apologize for not being able to fulfill that deadline.)

The writers will be helping finish up the Demo's script, with maybe one writer for every two scenes (the scenes aren't long at all, considering it's an Introductory type thing, not going into the main game at all). I'll also be starting a Discord channel for the writers to join once they've been chosen.

At this moment, we are also currently still seeking a CG/Sprite artist! Applications for those will be opened once the writing portion of the Demo is complete. (This is also why the previously mentioned Patreon has not seen any activity or promotion--I want to have something tangible going before starting on the Real Meat of the project!)

Once again, I apologize with all of my heart and soul for having let this project sit on the back-burner for so long. I'm determined to see this through, no matter what it takes!
