@multipleoccupancy​ sent: an abrupt, heated kiss during the middle of a fight -- From Snow to Lucy Gray, I feel he'd panic for arguing and just cheat his way out of it XD from:  ↪     𝑲𝑰𝑺𝑺  ﹠ ᵀᴱᴸᴸ .

There was a strong, lingering smell of roses in the air. It coated her tongue whenever she talked. The greenhouse looked beautiful in the summer, really, with the light filtering through the windows, drowning the flowers in a warm, powerful glow. And yet, the charm of the room did not seem to soften the violence of their exchange. It seemed that Coriolanus and Lucy Gray could only fight these days. But of course, how could they not? She was a prisoner now. She was his and yet, she would never be his again. The greenhouse was a refuge for them both (away from Coriolanus’ wife), but in reality it was more of a battlefield. 

“You can’t keep me here forever!” she exclaimed in a storm of dark hair.

She did not remember what had started this fight, but did it matter? She wanted to be free, and he could not grant her that. She huffed in anger, the palm of her hand landing on his chest, as if to push him, to hurt him. Rage. It was the only language she seemed to speak lately. And as he grabbed her wrist, pulling her closer, she expected more screams. Instead, he kissed her. 

It was an abrupt kiss. Brutal. Hate and love were strange neighbors, and the feeling of his lips seemed to drown her. She replied to the kiss, of course. She replied to it with anger and desperation, and an unfortunate passion.
