Summary: Drabble where gang plays Twister, but Yondu cheats by tickling reader

Author’s Note: Prompt that won second place in the poll (Option: GOTG 6) and I’m still deciding how I want to go about a tie breaker for 3rd place lol. Based off prompt from anon.

“Left foot on red!” Mantis cheered happily. 

With Gamora and Drax looking over weapons with Rocket, Peter suggested a game of Twister as a way to kill boredom. You weren’t sure how he managed to rope Yondu and Kraglin into playing, but you assumed they probably placed bets. 

Mantis was currently the referee, wanting to watch how the game was played first, and she giggled happily as she watched the four of you twist yourselves into pretzels trying to complete the latest instruction. You couldn’t help but think that if Groot hadn’t been with Rocket and the others right now, he’d probably be winning.

As soon as everyone had settled, with groans about being old from Yondu, Peter gave the go ahead for Mantis to spin again. Currently, you were stretched over Kraglin with your hands on yellow and green, and your feet on blue and red. The others of course also had their limbs on the same corresponding colors, but with the rules being that no two players could share a spot, your positions varied. 

As stated, Kraglin was currently under you, doing his best to retain his almost horizontal position to avoid falling onto the mat. Unfamiliar with the game, he didn’t start out making the best placement choices. Peter was to your left, his right leg placed precariously between Kragin’s to rest on a blue dot, and his body leaning over Yondu who’s left arm was stretched under your own for purchase on yellow.

“Right hand blue!” said Mantis, to the collective groan of the group.

You found yourself in lucky enough position to not be buried under everyone else, so you were able to quickly position your hand in the dot right next to your right foot, much to the chagrin of Peter who had to reach for a free space at the far end of the mat as Yondu had taken the only other free space that was only available because Kraglin, unable to twist around in his flattened position to reach a blue space, fell and was eliminated from the game with an, “Aw, shucks!” 

“Right hand yellow!” Mantis called once Kraglin had vacated the mat. He joined her at the spinner.

The three of you sighed in relief as this move resulted in a much needed “un-pretzeling.”

You were now currently at the highest advantage, seeing as Peter was twisted very awkwardly with his arms crossed over Yondu. However that all changed in a few more turns.

“Left foot blue.”

“Right hand green.”

“Right foot red.”

“Right hand yellow”

Now you were more or less pinned under Yondu’s right arm as he reached over you for a yellow dot to your right side. Peter was worse off though, after being finally able to uncross his arms for a bit, that last call forced him back in the same crossed arm position he had been just a few turns ago.

“Left foot red.”

You all shifted to red. An easy move.

“Right hand blue.”

You let out a yelp as you felt Yondu tweak your right side as he pulled his arm back to claim a blue dot to your left, and you squeaked again when he performed the same action to your left side before settling in on his chosen dot.

“No cheating!” you scold playfully.

“Wouldn’t dream of it!” replied Yondu, pretending to be offended.

“Left hand yellow.”

Everyone’s left hands had already been on yellow for some time, so this was a mercifully easy one, as everyone just shifted their hand down one space.

“Right hand green.”

Yondu was finally making his way out from under Peter, or Peter from over Yondu, depending on how you looked at it. Yondu moved his hand to green with ease, but not before poking you in the ribs and passing it off as an accident. Peter had obviously noticed Yondu’s shenanigans and was no longer regretting having forgotten to take his leather jacket off before starting the game. He could call him out for cheating, but hey, if it got rid of the competition... Not wanting to get his arms twisted up for a third time, he quickly reached over to claim the green dot directly in front of you.  No matter, you were able to reach one just fine to the right, the last one in the row. 

Now you were all parallel to each other, Yondu on the left of the mat, you on the right, and Peter in the middle.

Mantis called out ‘Left hand yellow’ yet again and you wondered if the spinner might be sticking, but everyone just moved their hands back up one space to where they had originally been on the last ‘left hand yellow’ call. 

“Right foot yellow.”

Crap. Peter was faster and managed to kick his foot under your body before you could react to claim the furthest yellow dot, the one that would have been easiest for you to reach, forcing you to take the one next to it, the one that would have been easiest for him to claim. This required you to step over and almost straddle his leg to do so. Clearly he was trying a strategy to mess you up.

“Right hand green.”

Crap again. At first you thought nothing of it when Peter lifted his hand and you claimed the green spot his hand had previously occupied, assuming like every time when Mantis called a color/limb combination you were already on that you’d all move forward or backward a space. However, instead of taking the easy route and moving forward, he reached over you, and poked you in the armpit (resulting in a squeak from you) on the way down to claim the spot where you had just been, despite the fact that this also made things more difficult for himself. Yondu simply moved his hand down to rest on the green dot next to yours, despite many open within his reach. 

“You both suck.” you scolded, laughter still in your voice.

“I have no idea what you mean.” Peter claimed, and Yondu just chuckled in response.

“Left hand blue.”

Yondu quickly snatched up the blue dot closest/easiest to Peter, and Peter awkwardly twisted to grab the one next to it, the one that would have been easiest for you to claim. 

Because you were on top of Peter’s leg as well as under his torso, this made things difficult for you. The next best one for you to grab was under his leg, and with difficulty, you made it.

“Right hand yellow.”

Peter claimed the circle just next to the one your foot was resting on, so you seized the chance to get out from under him. You quickly pulled out from under his torso to reach over him to claim the yellow dot right next to it just in time to see Yondu had already claimed his and was very much in a better position than you and Peter seeing that he wasn’t tangled up at all.

“Left foot green.”

Finally, something to twist Yondu up! He had to swing his left foot behind his right to reach the green dot nearest to him. It wasn’t a whole lot, to be honest, he was still better off than you and Peter, but hey, it was something. 

Speaking of you and Peter, Peter was now completely under you and twisted in what you were sure was an uncomfortable position. He looked over at Yondu and lamented, “How’d you get so lucky?”

“Skill, boy.” Yondu laughed.

“More like beginners luck!” You sassed, rolling your eyes.

“Right hand red.”

“Left foot yellow.”

“Right foot green.”

“Right hand blue”

A few turns later and Peter was in almost a crab-walk position, not exactly ideal for him. You were still bent over him like a bridge, facing away from him and Yondu, who was only just starting to lose his luck and get re-pretzeled in with you and Peter.

“Ain’t one of ya gonna fall yet?” he asked. “How long does this usually take?”

“Normally-” Peter grunted from the effort of staying in his position, “The game is much shorter- but... this is what happens... when you play with a master!”

You and Yondu both rolled your eyes at that. Kraglin groaned and laid back for a nap, expecting this to take a bit longer and Mantis just remained cheerful as ever, enjoying watching her friends tie themselves into knots.

“Left hand yellow.”

You managed to claim a yellow dot near to you, but then you felt something tickling at your waist.

“H-hey! Peter quit it!” you squealed through giggles.

“It’s not me! Why would it be me? If you fall on me we both lose!” Peter whined.

“Yondu!” you scolded.

“What?” came his voice from behind you in a mock-innocent tone. “I’m just trying to find a yella circle.”

You felt his fingers creep further up to your ribs and your giggles turned into laughter. “You won’t find it there! That’s cheating! Quit it!”

“Actually, I don’t see anything in here saying that’s against the rules,” Kraglin quipped, now re-interested in the game and pretending to go through the rule booklet. He even made a show if letting Mantis see.

Peter sighed and spoke up over your peels of laughter. “Mantis, just go ahead and spin the next color.” He was really hoping for a ‘right foot red’ or something that might allow him to pull himself from beneath you before you fell.

“I can’t Peter, the rules say everyone has to either find their circle or fall before we continue, and Yondu is still looking for a circle.” Oh Mantis, sometimes she was too innocent.

Kraglin chuckled and suggested maybe giving a time limit of 10 more seconds to “find a circle,” pretending to referee the situation. Mantis agreed, and Peter groaned, warning that you that you better not fall on him. 

“Don’t worry, I think I almost found one!” Yondu claimed, smirking. He had moved his hand back down and was now scritching at what he could reach of your belly, and you were losing it. Even if it wasn’t against the rules to remove a hand from a circle unless another color had be called, you didn’t think you could manage it without collapsing, and there was nothing you’d like more right then than to pull his tickling fingers away from your tummy. 

“No! No! AhahaHAH! Not there! Yondu! Yondu please! I- I can’t!” you cried out, trying with all you had to keep from falling, but, of course you failed in that goal. You finally collapsed, taking Peter down with you.

You rolled off of Peter, still giggly from being tickled, and smacked Yondu in the leg, who was now standing and smugly brushing himself off whilst declaring himself the winner. “That’s for cheating.”

“Hey, ya heard ‘em. Ain’t no rules against it.” The Centaurian laughed. “Well, I won. I believe you owe me some units, boy.” he said, grinning at Peter.

Peter grumbled and transferred the units he owed him, claiming his was going to add “no tickling” to the rulebook for the next game.

Description: Jungkook has become someone very important to you over the last couple of years. But after your last experience with dating your best friend, you resolve to repressing your feelings. Until Jungkook can’t repress his own, anymore.

Guk is your friend. He has always been ever since you got to know each other. What changed in the course of last few years was how close of a friend he was to you. You met him through Jimin, your former crush of a best friend as you liked to call him. See, being Jimin's best friend was easy at that time. Jimin is so full of love that he can't help but share it with others. And your clingly but cute friendship with him had started right after randomly getting paired in a group project in freshman year. But things move so fast with that guy.

You'd admit, despite having a long line of girls insterested in him, the fact that Jimin would always walk to you after stepping inside the school had you squirming and squeaking inside. Which sped up the whole falling for your best friend process excessively. And once you kissed him at that stupid frat party when you were both drunk, he felt like he had to respond to not have you feeling bad. The start of all your problems..

Because after being together for half a year, you overheard him talking to Hoseok about how your first kiss had actually happened. And it made you furious with thinking he was pity dating you that whole time.

And as fast as it begun, it was over. You were heartbroken for sure but realized maybe you weren't a great pair to begin with. As best friends, you were. With how you could talk to each other about everything, how you'd help each other with every problem and how much fun days would be. But the awful outcome of all of that was your friendship was lost in the process, too. Your friendship with Jimin meant you get to spend time with six other amazing guys that you loved, on a daily basis once. But unfortunately that too, was no longer possible for you after the break-up.

Except for Jungkook. 

As you had a falling out with Jimin, you grew closer with Jungkook. In fact, when you told him why you guys broke up, he went to Jimin and Hoseok's place in fury and had a serious fight with Jimin. Which damaged their relationship as well. Normally rushing like that without having a talk wasn't something Guk would do. Especially to his hyungs, whom he loved and respected very much.

But seeing the fragile look on your face that night, with tears theatening to fall down from your eyes, something came over him. Because in all the time he had known you, he hadn't witnessed a moment when you seemed week. It was characteristic of you to put up a front and hide it when you were struggling. But that night you were too hurt to pretend. And having Guk around, you didn't feel like you had to. His embrace was comfortable enough to fall apart in. So when you started trembling as he had his arms around you, he felt like his heart was being ripped out. Hence, the fight. And they didn't go on to become enemies or anything but it wasn't the same between him and his hyungs either.

Guk stayed with you since then. Not replacing the role of being your best friend but giving it a whole new meaning. Because he became someone you opened your heart to like you did to no one else.

Which is the reason why you're sitting on the hood of his car right now, staring at the night sky. It's chilly and you don't have a coat but it's okay. Because just as you suddenly shiver a little, a blanket is being wrapped around you. "Lucky you left these in the car after the last picnic." Jungkook says as he joins you on the hood and adds his arms to cover you from the cold. This isn't unusual for you two, especially since Jungkook is touch-oriented and you enjoy cuddles. What's kind of out of the ordinary is how quiet Jungkook's been all night. You've noticed but didn't mention it up until now, hoping he'd open up at some point. Because you were his confidant just as he was yours.

But Jungkook just kept his head low for the most of the night. It was his idea to come out here by the river, too. Which is a bit strange. Normally he'd make fun of you for planning a hangout such as this one, calling you a hopeless romantic. He seems calm but when he looks off into the distance, you can somehow see his mind is full and foggy.

"Are you gonna tell me what's on your mind, Guk?"

He looks down at you in surprise. "What do you mean?"

You want to continue but out of nowhere, you find yourself trying to repress a smile, because of the way his face seems upside down. Your head is currently positioned on his chest and you're apperantly still a child cause you find the reverted sight of his head funny.

"What's funny?" His demenour changes when he notices your lips curving, his features soften.

"Nothing. Other than your face." you tease. To such a comment, he'd usually respond with a forehead flick or something. But this time he giggles. "Your face upside down is quite the sight too, Y/N." He knows you like the back of his hand. He slowly removes a string of hair out of your eyes and to the back of your ear. Then turns back to watching the distance.

"I can see something's bothering you, Gukkie. Tell me what it is, so I can fix it." Your statement's geniune. You'd do anything to help him and he knows it. He also knows you're the only one who can fix what's wrong with him. That's why it hurts him to not be able to say it.

"I'm starting to like this kind of thing. You know, getting all cozy watching the stars and all. I'm afraid you're rubbing off on me."

You know he's just making this up to avoid the question but pushing the subject isn't the way to go with Jungkook. You'll take your time trying to figure out what's up.

"Then the solution is clear. You gotta get rid of me."

His gaze falls on you once more. "Don't even think for a second I'm ever letting you go."

That sentence is everything. It's reassuring and intimate but moreover, real. More real than what others promised to you before. After Jimin, you tried your chances with other guys. Luck wasn't on your side, though. Every bad ending made you close yourself more and shut others out. Making trust almost impossible. Guk is the only guy you can believe when he says he won't abandon you.

"Wanna head back? It's getting even colder out here." Jungkook suggests after a while of enjoying each other's company in silence. But sees that you've already fallen asleep on his chest. He has to carry you to the car and then to your house. Being as gentle as possible, he places you on your bed, lingering above you a bit longer than necessary.

Just as he's about to leave, you open your eyes ever so slightly when you feel the warmness of his touch fading away. "Hey.. stay.."

Jungkook's breath hitches and then he sighes heavily. "Now you wake up?"

Smiling at his complaint with your eyes half closed, you hold a grip on his wrist. "I'm sorry. Will you stay?"

Of course he will. "I was gonna come back to drive you to class in the morning, anyway. So why not?" He slips under the covers next to you, wrapping his arm around your waist and pulling you to him. Which makes your smile grow even wider.

"C'moon, Y/N. Hurry!" Jungkook whines and pulls you down the stairs of your aparment in a rush. He just came over to your place at five in the morning, waking you up and dragging you out, claiming that he needed to show you something. You don't even get to question just what it is exactly he has to show you at this stupid hour when you make your way to the street.

"Did it shrink?"

Jungkook looks at you with confused eyes. "What?"

You lift your index finger to point at the motorcycle he's currently sitting on. "Did your car shrink to this?"

As soon as the penny drops Jungkook bursts into laugther, producing cute sounding giggles. Then, he is finally able to control himself. "And here I was, excited to show you my bike! I thought you'd like it." A playful pout settles on his lips.

"I- I mean it looks great, it's just.." you drag your sentence out at first, embarresed to say it but finally you give up with a sigh and admit. "I like it better in a car where it's- you know, safe."

Another round of merciless laughter comes from Guk. Until he notices you glaring. "It's not that dangerous, Y/N."

"Oh really?" You lift your left eyebrow in disbelief. It's only been a few days since you saw that motorcycle accident on the news, too. The balls this guy has, you think. When he senses that you're about to give him a whole lecture on the subject, mentioning known motorcycle accident rates and all, he quickly cuts you off and adds, "I mean, you don't have to worry because I'll be the one riding it, buttercup."

There it is. Buttercup. The nickname he mostly uses when he wants to convince you to do something you don't wanna do. (He also rarely calls you that if a moment you're having is too intimate.)

You cross your arms and just stand there, still glaring at him. His playful pout is then joined by sad doe eyes. "See?" he reaches up a helmet to you, bright purple with colorful decorations on it. It's pretty cute, you have to admit. "I had designed this helmet just for you and everything, too." When you still don't say a word, he gets up from the seat and comes towards you.

"Don't you trust me, buttercup?"

You take the helmet out of his hands and place it on your head, causing Jungkook's pout to transform into a bunny smile.

"Get ready for a hell of a fun ride, Y/N." he says with a smirk as you settle behind him.

"If you kill us, I won't hang out with you in hell."

"Yes, you will. But we'll be fine, trust me."

In fact, you do trust him. You know he's had his M1 licence for years now and he's been saving up for a bike maybe his whole life. It's just the other people on the streets that you have a problem trusting. Since those so called car drivers tend to not see bike riders in traffic. But as you slowly start crusing the streets you realize there aren't many cars out there if any. Considering how early it is,  it’s not exactly a surprise.

Jungkook starts picking up speed, not all at once but little by little. And you don't notice until you feel the wind harsh against your face. "Guk, don't go crazy." You hear him hum affirmatively over the motor sound. But he doesn't slow down. On the contrary, he's going even faster.

He makes a sudden turn and you grab his waist tightly in panic. Speed was never really your thing but it is just so Jungkook. By this point, you're not even looking around you. You're just ducked down behind Jungkook, holding onto him like a lifeline, eyes shut tight and head burried in his nape.

Then, Jungkook slows down. The roaring sound of the motor dials down and it takes a moment for you to finally open your eyes. When you do, you see that you're crossing a bridge. The dawn is breaking and the sky is splendid. You see every shade of yellow, orange and red up there. The wind is soft and the heat of the rising sun warms you to your bones. It's probably one of the most precious things you've ever witnessed. And you don't know why, but the sunrise resembles Jungkook in your mind. Only, the glow of his skin under it nearly outshines the sun itself. That's how beautiful Jungkook looks.

Your grip on his waist loosens but it's still there. Now, you're just holding him in content, wanting to share the moment. "This is what I wanted to show you, buttercup." His voice is just above a whisper. And you silently thank him by placing a soft but long kiss on his shoulder. Which is worth more than words to Jungkook.

"I wanna go~"

Jungkook cannot roll his eyes enough to express his disagreement. He's had more than enough of frat parties over the course of your college years.

"But I thought we weren't gonna do frat parties anymore."

"It's been years since we've been to one. I just think it could be fun, you know. And they have the best booze."

Well, they have free booze. But yeah, free booze is the best booze, Jungkook agrees. This particular frat house is the one his hyungs hangs out at, however. Since Taehyung and Namjoon live there. It used to be the usual chilling place back when you were dating Jimin. You haven't been there since the break-up and neither has Jungkook.

"You know he'll be there, Y/N." You give him a careless shrug. "Yeah. I don't care. I'm tired of running away from him." He looks at you with squinted eyes, wondering what caused your change of heart after almost three years. It doesn't look like you're gonna give up. "Fine. We'll go."

When you get there the party has already started but the door is closed, as always. Frat boys don't allow intruders. After ringing the bell rapidly you wait there, hoping someone can hear it over the music and moments later, a tall brunette opens the door and gasps immediately.

"Hey, Taehyung."

Next thing you know is Taehyung launching at you, trapping you in a tight hug. "I missed you, Y/N." he says with a muffled voice. You weren't expecting such a warm welcome. But Taehyung's always been an amazing friend to you. You can't deny that you've missed him, too. He breaks away from you only to tackle Jungkook down to the ground. "Finally remembered the way to hyung's house, have you Guk?" Thankfully, you're familiar with this hugging/wrestling thing they always did back then.

"Wanna let us in?" Guk manages to say while getting pinned down.

You make your way inside and apparently shit has already gone crazy. Everyone is making out with someone at some corner, the smell of weed is all over the place and beer pong seems to have turned into a fight rather than a friendly competition.

Taehyung fixes you up with two glasses of whiskey, since you're special guests. And okay, Jungkook can understand that Taehyung has missed you and wants to catch up but oh why does he have to walk in between you two? he thinks. His hands are all over you, too. Which is normal for you, you know he's touchy with all his close friends but it just annoys the hell out of Jungkook right now.

When you arrive at the big living room, you see him. Park Jimin in all his might. It's obvious he hasn't lost the king of beer pong title to anyone, with the way he's standing gracefully in front of the table and how people around him are worshipping him. He seems the same, except for the hair. He's dyed it pink. Jimin hasn't seen you yet and as he starts looking your way you take cover behind the boys.

"It's safe, he's gone the other way, honey." Taehyung informs. Honey? What the fuck? are Jungkook's thoughts.

You come out to see Jimin sitting on the sofa, with his back facing you. A girl comes to sit on his lap, grinding her hips on his and her lips are all over his neck. Jimin's too busy to notice you, tonight.

"Y/N." Jungkook appears in front of you. "We can still get out of here and go to a club or something-"

"No! We're gonna have fun and we'll do it here." Stubbernness usually comes with tipsy Y/N package, both Jungkook and Taehyung know this. So you stay.

After a while, when you've gulped down your third glass of whiskey and had a couple of vodka shots, you're ready to go crazy. Taehyung puts on a groovy hip hop song, wondering if you still own the dance-floor at parties. You don't. But with the amount of alcohol in your veins you forget that and get up on the table. When you start moving to the beat, a lot of woo-hoos can be heard. You've got some moves so this used to be your thing back then. People are gathering around you, cheering. Jungkook is trying to stay close to catch you in case you lose balance.

Which you eventually do and you stumble backwards on the edge but fall to the opposite side of Jungkook. And right into the arms of Jimin. Perfect.

"Caught you." he says and you gulp. First interaction in almost three years and you're in his arms. Jimin slowly and gently puts you down, helping you stand straight. "You're still the best drunk dancer around, huh?" His eyes are locked with yours. Why is he trying to converse with you? Why did he even save you? The last time you were together, you were shouting at him with anger, not even letting him speak. Didn't he hate you after that like you thought?

"I really am drunk."

"Let's get you to the couch-"

Jungkook runs over to you and pulls you to himself. "Buttercup, you okay?" You nod and he sighes in relief. Jimin leaves when Guk shows up, though.

Jungkook sits you down on the couch, examining your body for possible injuries but Taehyung calls him over.

"C'mon Guk! These guys are challenging your record. Let's show 'em." Jungkook tries to wave his hand to signal no but you stop him. "Just go. I'm fine."

"Y/N you just fell from-"

"I'm okay, I was caught. We're supposed to be having fun and you haven't finished your first drink yet. Just go and beat those guys in shots. Show 'em whose boss, Guk." Jungkook's record of downing more shots than anyone is important to him whether he admits it or not. But he hesitates to leave you. You have to push him and kick him on the butt lightly to make him go over there.

Once he leaves, you're once again across the view of the same girl devouring Jimin's neck. And this time, Jimin is responding. Unbottoning her shirt and kissing all over her bra. It's becoming too much for you to watch. Not that you're jealous, you've been over him for quite some time. But the sight just brings back the memory of a guy touching you or kissing you because he loved you. Well, you thought he loved you back then. That's why it was too hard to find out the truth about your relationship. After him, none of the guys you dated could make you feel special either. Even sex was just sex at a certain point so you stopped having that, too.

You get up and go to another room but the sudden movement makes you dizzy. Wobbly walking without looking ahead, you bump into someone.

"Shit, I'm sorry-"

"It's okay." he says and catches you when you lose balance again. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, just moved suddenly that's all. I'm fine now."

He's tall. And definetely attractive. He pushes his hair back and you notice his lip ring. Fuck.. you love lip rings. Things escalate quickly and you find yourself dancing with him, bodies really close. It gets real steamy real fast when he places his lips on your neck.

"You're really beautiful." he whispers in your ear. "And I love the way you move to the beat." Compliments are only to get in your pants and you know it. But you don't mind, maybe it's what you seek. "You're not so bad yourself." After dancing and talking some more, he suggests to go somewhere else but you don't wanna waste time so you take him upstairs. Meanwhile Jungkook's been looking for you, going around the house and catches sight of you at the last second, seeing you going up the stairs and dragging someone with.

He tries to get to you quickly but the way is blocked with college students dancing and high out of their minds. It takes a while for him to break through and get to the staircase. You've already reached the closest room, Taehyung's. But it's occupied. By none other than Jimin and that girl. Seeing that fires you up even more and you drag the guy to Namjoon's room. Thankfully that one's available.

But someone barges in. "What the fuck are you doing?" It's Jungkook. He's pissed.

"Dude, what the fuck are you doing? Can't you see we're busy-" Jungkook grabs the guy and drags him out. Despite being shorter, he's more built and easily overpowers him. Then, closes the door flat on his face and turns to you.

"Jungkook, what the-"

"Do you know who he is?" he shouts at you.

"Yeah, the guy I was about to bang-"

"Do you even know his name, Y/N?" he's practically screaming at this point.

"It's Minjae or something."

"It's Jaebum. And he's a dick. He just wants to sleep with you and that's it. Do you know how many girls he played with? He's a fuckboy-"

"Great. That's what I wanted. I wanted someone who knows how to fuck good and you just kicked him out!" You shout back. This isn't like him, he's never intervened like this before. And he's shocked to hear you say those things. You, who wouldn't even bother having a one night stand anymore because of how meaningless it seemed.

"Why are you doing this, Y/N? Is it because of Jimin?"

"No!" Your face drops. "Yes?- I don't know. I just wanted someone to make me feel special. I haven't felt like that for the longest time, Guk."

Jungkook's whole demeanour changes and his eyes go dark. "And you go to that guy? A stranger you don't even know, to make you feel special?" He moves closer to you, making your heart race. You take a step back but your back hits the wall. He's trapped you. "You think he can give it to you better than I can?" He's so close that you feel his breath on your neck.

"Unlike him, I know just how special you are," One of his hands finds your shoulder. "how beautiful you are," That hand travels down your arm and finds your waist. "how strong but also how delicate you actually are." He grips your waist tightly, pulling you closer if that's even possible. "But I never even cross your mind like that, do I?" He speaks as if the words are venom. Almost like he's hurt. But what he doesn't know is he has been in your mind like that. More than once or twice.

"You do.." It's barely even audible so Jungkook has to ask again in shock.

"What?"

"You do cross my mind like that. I just-"

His lips are on yours.

What you were hoping to get from that Jaebum guy tonight can't even get close to this feeling and all Jungkook's doing is kissing you. But it's too deep to be labeled as just a kiss. Very rough but passionate, open mouthed and wet. He practically has to rip himself apart from you to let the both of you breath.

Your hands instinctively go to his belt, trying sloppily to unbuckle it. Which makes him freeze and come out of the frenzy he was in.

"Wait. Y/N, are we going too far?"

Not the time to be considerate Guk, you think but his hand finds yours and stops them.

"Not far enough, Guk." You slap his hand away and get to the task at hand once more.

"Y/N- I won't be able to stop if you keep this up. Are you- are you sure-"

"Jungkook.. please.." You have no idea what's gotten into you. Maybe it's the repressed feelings you've been having for him coming to surface or maybe it’s the alcohol but you're dying for him to touch you right now. "Just please.."

And that's all it takes for his eyes to go dark again. Next thing you know is you're on the bed, no clue how or when you got there and Jungkook is pushing into you relentlessly. When did you get undressed? When did he even put the condom on? Time is so wobbly in that moment. It feels like seconds and hours at the same time. And Jungkook turns out to be right. He does know you the best. Every inch of your body he'd already learned from all the times you held each other close. Somehow, he knows exactly where to touch and how.

Every moan from you is music to his ears and he gives his all to hear more of it. Moans turn into his name as you close in on your climax. "J-Jungkook ahh.. Jungkook.." you scream on and on and he can't hold much longer, either. His thrusts become sloppy but determined to satisfy you the best as he claimed, he keeps filling you up.

"Don't stop. I'm almost there.. I'm-" you cum all over him and he follows soon after. All the while having the most dazed smile on his face. After pulling out, he connects your lips once more but this time it's softer. Like he's savouring the taste.

Then he lies next to you and silence takes over. You want to say something but all words are lost to you. Everything is overwhelming, from the way you’re both out of breath to how his head is burried in the crook of your neck. Guk on the other hand seems to be in a bliss.

"I.. I love you, buttercup." he manages to say before dozing off. You open your mouth to say something, but close it when you hear the light sleeping noises coming from him. He's only saying that because of what just happened, right?

Taehyung finds you like that in his bed a couple of hours later and kicks the two of you out. "I have to bleach my sheets and my eyes now, thanks." he complains while doing so. You make him swear to never speak of this to anyone and he complies. "I'm blocking this memory out completely, don't worry."

The ride home is silent. You still hold Jungkook's waist on the bike but he doesn't stay with you when you get home. Even though he'll come back in a few hours to take you to class. You don't ask why, you need to take time to process everything, as well.

Last night is the fifth time in a row that you don't get enough sleep. A couple of weeks has past since that night with Jungkook and honestly.. you’re fucked to say the least. On the surface it looks like you’re both moving on with your lives as normal, almost like nothing happened. Almost being the keyword here. Because once you take a closer look, you can see that the times he stays over at your place has dialed down to a zero. Touching each other freely is no longer an option, either. And these among many others are the reasons you can’t sleep properly.

Your plan is to talk to him tonight. The original plan is going to Taehyung’s birthday party that’s being held in a club. After the frat party he insisted both of you to join since you’ve missed the last two birthdays of his. And you agreed. Especially because Guk was starting to patch things up with his hyungs again and you had missed the guys as well. And you’re gonna talk to Guk when you see him there. For sure.

If he ever comes near you for more than ten seconds, that is. The venue is cramped up with lots of people and Jungkook must’ve made it his mission to speak to each and every one of them because he won’t stop moving around. After trying to get him alone for countless times and failing, you retreat to the sitting area with the biggest frown on your face. Jimin finds you and sits next to you.

“Why are you sulking in the corner? Don’t let Taehyung see you like this, he says everyone has to be having the time of their lives and he seems pretty strict about it.” Considering that Taehyung’s a drama queen, that sounds about right.

“I can’t get Jungkook to pay attention to me.”

Jimin smiles at your pouty face. “Oh no! A lovers’ quarrel?”

“Wha- No! We’re not- lovers.” you air-quote the word ‘lovers’, it always sounded strange to you.

Confusion can be read on Jimin’s face. “Really? We always thought you guys were dating. Are you sure you’re not?” The last part he says in a teasing voice.

“I’m positive Jimin, don’t make fun of me.” you’re still sulking.

“I’m not. So what happened?”

You turn your head to look at him. After all this time, you feel like you can still talk to him and he’ll understand. “I- I mean we- well, it happened so suddenly but-”

“You guys had sex.”

Your eyes go wide and your mouth drops with shock.

“Taehyung told me how he caught you two.” Jimin shrugs. That traitor.

“Okay, yes. And I think I scared him away. Just like I did to you.” You laugh at the irony bitterly.

Jimin turns completely to you and makes you face him as well. “Look Y/N, I never really had the chance to explain back then but- you didn’t scare me away. It wasn’t like what you thought. Yeah, our first kiss was totally out of nowhere for me but I truly loved dating you. I did, in a really short time, fall for you. And I was in no way pity dating you. It was all real, I swear.”

Wait, what? You had fought with Jimin all those years ago and ended your relationship over nothing? And you screamed at him, blamed him for something so shitty that he didn’t even actually do? Your heart sank. “Jimin, I-”

“Look, I was sad but I moved on. I know you have, too. To Jungkook. I was pretty upset, thinking he stole you from me for quite some time.”

“Jimin, I don’t know what to say.”

“You don’t need to say anything to me. But just- it’s okay that you’ve fallen for your best friend. It wasn’t a mistake then and it’s not a mistake now. But talk to him about it, alright?”

Well fuck. He's right. You have fallen for your best friend again. Two things are different about this time, though. The first is this time you managed to hide it, even from your self. Because of how badly things ended before. And the second thing is what you feel for Jungkook is poles apart from your former feelings for Jimin.

If the first time your desire was a candle light, this time it's the sun in its entirety. And even though you've been flying too close to it this whole time, it doesn't burn you, instead it warms your soul. The simple sight of Jungkook is enough to comfort you and his arms are always home. And ever since you've had a taste of him, the taste of his body linking with yours in a perfect fit and the blissful feeling following that, you know this isn't like anything you've felt before.

"So.. it looks like your moment of clarity is in process. I'm gonna go get Gukkie." Jimin says and gets up.

You stop him for a moment, gripping his shirt. "Thanks, Jimin. And I'm sorry." Then you let your grip go and put on a guilty but geniune smile. He smiles understandingly as response before going to find Jungkook.

Jimin gets up on one of the futons to get a better view into the crowd. Which helps him locate the younger boy. He suddenly feels nervous as he walks closer to Jungkook. He had no problem talking to you but somehow he had this stupid pride about talking to Jungkook until now. Because yeah, you yelled at him and said heavy things but Jungkook.. one of the people who knows him best didn't even bother asking if what he heard was true. And the fight they had was a physical one. Which left Jungkook with a bleeding nose, Jimin with a black eye and both of them with broken hearts.

Jimin slowly taps on Guk's shoulder, making him turn around.

"Can I talk to you Jungkook?"

Jungkook's eyes tear up a bit but he holds it in. He's always felt guilty about how he treated Jimin back then and carried that with him for a long time. And now, all of that mixed with the little alcohol in his system, makes him emotional. Especially because it's Jimin who made the first approach, even though it's Jungkook who was at fault. "Hyung.. I-"

"Both of us were lost in a misunderstanding that day. But I'm the hyung, I should've made things right. I'm sorry-"

"No! I am. I don't know why I attacked you like that, without even trying understand you before. And I was a coward for not coming to sort things out all this time. Hyung, please forgive me for hurting you."

Jimin's eyes turn into crescents and he pulls the younger in a tight hug. "We've all missed you so you have to make up for all the lost time, punk." He jokingly scolds him but in brotherly language, it means he accepts the apology.

"I will hyung. In fact, let's have a drink-" Jungkook smiles as they part. But Jimin makes him turn his body towards you. "First, talk to her."

"Wha-"

"A bit of advice, tell her exactly how you feel. No lies." Then he practically shoves Guk your way. You were already walking to him so you meet halfway when Jungkook -being pushed- clashes into you, making you stumble backwards.

Thankfully he catches you before you fall but now, his arms completely surround you and your faces are only inches apart. "Shit- you okay Y/N?"

"Yeah, you?"

He nods but doesn't let go for a while, staring into your eyes with his own misty, chocolate ones.

"Did you talk to Jimin-ie hyung about something? Cuz he was just mentioning-"

"Why are you avoiding me after- that night?" you cut him off in a moment of boldness, returning the intense gaze back. And you can feel his body tense up immediately after. The clouds in his eyes grow and worry is written all over them.

"You didn't say it back. And I felt so stupid."

Your stomach drops. You didn't say that you loved him back and that's why he felt like he made a mistake.

"I felt like I pushed you into what happened that night. Just because I'm irrevocably in love with you, doesn't mean that you have to feel the same way-"

Not being able to take it anymore, you clash your lips onto his. You don't think you can explain with words just how much you do love him back. How he became your closest and then your whole life. So you pour everything into that kiss, hoping he might understand.

And he returns the kiss in light speed. But you can tell that he's shocked from the way his hands lift up from around your body. When you part, the mist in his eyes are gone and replaced by sparkles.

"I'm sorry. I love you so bad that I feared I'd push you away. That's why I couldn't say it back. The last time I fell for my best friend-"

"I'm not Jimin." he says. You're very well aware. His eyes go big in realization and he backs away from you a little before speaking. "So.. I'm not a dumbass for thinking that all of our picnics, night drives, all the times we sat by the river looking at the sky and every movie we saw huddled together always felt like it could actually be a date?"

A smile creeps up on your mouth because these are all exactly your thoughts. Everything you've done together felt like the best date ever. Even the goofiest stuff.. You nod at him, still smiling.

His hands find your body again, softly surrounding your waist as he pulls you closer to himself. "We don't have to change much for them to be real dates. Just add a couple of kisses from now on and that's it." He jokes around. "So, will you have me?" His gaze goes a little fragile while asking that. If anything, he's a dumbass for thinking he has to ask.

"Only if you add some of what you did to me that night into the mix." You say slyly and he fakes a dramatic gasp.

"You're naughty. But I'm sure I can fix you up. When are you available?"

You go closer to his ear and mutter the next words only above a whisper. "Right now."

Then you both giggle as you hastily make your way out of there. It's safe to say this is the best night you've had in quite a while. And it'll only get better from now on.

The MFackenthal Show and Cordonian’s Gone Wild!

Anitah: Hello fabulous audience members!  We are so glad you’re here. I know it’s a little early for the show to start, but if you could please try to take your seats quickly and quietly, that would be super helpful.

Alicia: As you all know or can guess, we’re the guest stars for today’s show.  

Pam: But what you don’t know, because Megs doesn’t even know it yet, is that we are taking over today’s show!  

Gen:  So … really, we’re in a bit of a hurry here … we need to start this show before Megs gets on stage.  Can you freaking be seated already?!

Pam:  (whispering loudy to Gen) Yo, asshole, be nice to the audience.  

Anitah, Alicia, Gen, and Pam all take a seat behind or on the desk that Megs often sits behind to start her show.  

Anitah:  Sit, sit, sit, everyone.

Alicia:  Roll the cameras.  

Gen:  counting down using her fingers In 3 … 2 …. 1 …

Pam: Welcome everyone to the Cordonian’s Gone Wild edition of The MFackenthal Show!!!!

Anitah:  You may be wondering where Megs is - don’t worry, she’s in hair and makeup.  She should be out soon.  

Alicia:  For those of you who don’t know, I’m @leelee10898 - You can call me Alicia or Leelee, whatever you want.  This is @ao719 AKA Anitah.

Anitah: The other girls call me Nita so that works too.

Pam:  I’m @speedyoperarascalparty: Pam is my name.

Gen: And I’m @cocomaxley -  Genevieve or Gen or asshole.  Okay party people - Parties are not set up with an audience - so get your butts out of those seats, move your chairs to the left side of the room where the MFackenthal staff will help clear the room and bring in some more comfortable couches.

Anitah:  Then, help yourself to a glass of Maxwell’s Purple concoction.

Pam:  And don’t ask, we’re not allowed to share the recipe.

Alicia:  Seriously, as to what’s in it … just don’t ask.

Gen:  Anyways … everyone get a glass so we can raise a toast.

The audience scrambles out of their seats, following the directions as best as they can.  The whole room is quickly transformed, a disco ball is hung from the center, a dance floor being laid down in the middle of the room, couches are set up around the dance floor and there’s a table stage left with about a dozen punch bowls filled with Maxwell’s Purple Concoction.  

Pam:  Does everyone have a drink?

Anitah:  Everyone, please raise your glass.

Everyone raises their glass. The girls stand center stage - which is now the center of the room - and just as they’re about to raise their glasses, Megs comes walking out.  

Anitah:  To Cordonia!

Pam: And loyal, hot men!

The audience parts for Megs and the room gets quiet.

Alicia:  To … choices?  Why is everyone so quiet?

Gen:  Welcome to your show, Megs!  

All:  To Megs!!!!

The audience:  To Megs!

Pam hands Megs a glass of Maxwell’s drink.  Megs takes it and slowly does a full 360 looking around the room.  

The audience is cheering and clapping loudly.

Megs:  Damn, ladies.  If i didn’t know this was my stage, I’d never recognize it!  Tapping her foot, is this a dance floor?  Is this Maxwell’s purple concoction?  Do you know what’s in it?

The audience: Don’t ask!

Megs:  laughs.  Oooookay … well, the producers are telling me we are already rolling soooo …

Anitah:  So hello Megs and welcome to your show!  

Megs:  Welcome indeed!  Megs takes a sip of the drink and a steadying breath.  So … okay, well …

Gen:  Well, in case it’s not obvious - we’ve taken over your show.  We know what the people want-

Pam:  Don’t worry - we’ll give the people what they want.

Alicia:  So, just take another sip and let us take over.

Megs looks at the girls, shrugs her shoulders, looks around, and takes a seat next to an audience member.  

Megs:  Alright, ladies.  It’s your show.

Anitah:  Oh! That was easier than I thought it would be.  Alrighty!  So … ladies, what do we think the people really want to know?

Megs:  Looking away from the stage and putting a hand over her hand to muffle her voice, she loudly says:  What brought each of you to the fandom? Looking forward and feigning innocence Whoa, who said that?

Gen:  laughing real smooth Megs.

Pam: I was going through Drake withdrawals. It was between books and I needed a fix.

Gen: I found TRR after seeing numerous ads on social media for the Choices app. I spent a ridiculous amount of money to binge TRR book 1 and book 2. Then, like Pam, got super thirsty for Liam, sorry not sorry Anitah! I found AO3 first then after some google searches, I found tumblr.

Anitah: It was a total and complete accident! I was googling something about the game while (im)patiently waiting for a new chapter to be released in book 3 and I saw a link to a fanfic. I had never even been on tumblr before and had zero clue what it even was. But was so glad when I found this glorious fandom!

Alicia: @darley1101. Someone shared a damien fic she wrote on the choices fandom FB page.

Megs:  Oooh - here’s some insider information - @darley1101 has been booked to be on this show in the future.  Hey, so tell us - When did “Cordonian’s Gone Wild” get started?  How did it get started? What’s the real story here?  

Anitah: Seriously Megs - chill!  We’ve taking over!  But, great question!  So we all joined a huge chat group with what...10 other people? Lol. It was pure madness. Pam started writing one shots for people in that chat. Bringing their real selves into fics with their LI’s. And the four of us began talking in a separate chat and one night we were talking about how crazy, ridiculous and fun it would be if we all went to Vegas (with our pretend husbands because the IRL ones aren’t as much fun)

Pam: Or as 🍆

Anitah: So then I wrote One Night In Vegas...and we posted it just for fun and people really seemed to enjoy it. Do any of you remember who or how we got Cordonians Gone Wild?? Because I do not!  lol

Pam: Nope!

Gen: This was Anitah or Pam. I know that. But it worked out because we all had different LI's after I got thirsty for Rashad.

Megs: I wondered how Rashad came in to the picture and had to assume someone latched on to him ... or, don’t be mad ⁨Genevieve⁩ ... he was the “leftover” (straight) male

Gen: Actually this was @boneandfur’s fault. She wrote some Rashad one shots and I loved him after that.

Megs:  Ooooh, I wonder if she wants to be on the show?  Hmmmm...

Anitah: As we were saying … Then as we went on each of us kind of developed these character traits I think (feel free to chime in guys lol) but example...in Mardi Anitah steals the royal jet and that became her thing-  lol - so I always steal the jet and Liam gets pissed (which is exactly what I want)

Gen: Yep! I became the resident asshole which isn't too far off from real life. Actually it's exactly like real life.

Pam: Yea I mean, Pam is based off me. Gen and I realized we used to live right by each other in Illinois before I moved back to Michigan. I'm a marriage and family therapist. Went to Northwestern, so we wrote in Gen and I lived in Chicago together.

Anitah: Well, if I had a jet in real life I'd steal it…

Alicia: Shaking her head like she’s been zoned out … Actually I think I was the one who came up with the name lol. I remember mimicking it after girls gone wild.

Meg starts to get up to ask a question, but Gen is standing behind her and places both hands on Meg’s shoulders to push her back into her seat.

Gen:  If I know Megs, she’d now ask a process question, like How do you decide who writes for what couple?  Or how did you decide? Is it set in stone?

Megs glares up at Gen while she asks the question.  Then she nods and waves Gen back to stage.  

Pam: The couples are set in stone. They are our LI. Some of us are more committed than others..pam and anitah stare down gen and alicia.  Some should cower in shame.

Gen and Alicia appear to be utterly unphased.

Gen: (cackling) I can't help it! I have a soft spot for Mr. Sinclaire!

Anitah: Pam and I are just less adventurous.

Pam: Trust...honesty....FAITHFULNESS!

Anitah and Alicia mock Pam’s words and movements

Alicia: Leo Rhys is my husband and has my heart.... I just have a soft spot for, Colt, Logan, Matt, Adrian, Damien, Earnest.. am I forgetting someone??  Oh yeah Bryce and Beckett.

Pam: Cough..whore..cough

Alicia: sticks up middle finger

Anitah and Gen: continue laughing

Pam: We all write all the couples, but the pairings don’t change...even if avatars do

Gen: She's talking about you Alicia.

Anitah: As far as who writes for what couple, if it’s a group fic we all participate, but each of us writes the respective couple if it’s a one shot or what not.

Gen: Usually someone comes up with an idea and someone else will be like - I'll write it 🙋🏻‍♀️… Or sometimes it's crickets …

The whole stage gets super quiet, everyone seems to be listening for the crickets. Megs gets up and the four girls glare at her.

Megs:  No, no, I got it - your show.  Why don’t you all simply discuss who has read which choices books and what is everyone’s favorite while I go and refill my drink?  

Megs winks to the camera and walks to the table to get a refill.

Anitah: Oh god...there’s such a long list...

Pam: Anitah and I will sit this one out…

Gen: Prudes! I'll say it again, I love Mr. Sinclaire. But I've played AME, Bloodbound, VOS, TCATF, ROE (blah), PM and a bunch of others. But not a lot of the newer ones.

Alicia: Did you seriously just BLAH my husbands book?

Gen: Yes the fuck I did!

Alicia: The only one I have NOT read yet is most wanted. I have started the haunting of braidwood manor, both it lives and passport, but have yet to finish those. Otherwise I have read all books fully released and am up to date on current ones.

Gen: Most Wanted is so good!

Pam: Drake…

Gen: (pats Pam’s hand) We know, Pammy. We know.

Alicia: Some I have read numerous times.... like Ride or Die.... perfect match and blood bound…

Megs has come back to her seat.

Megs: Who is your favorite OTP?

Alicia:  Oh!  You know what we should talk about?  Ourselves!  Our jobs, our hobbies, our favorite things - what we do when we’re not writing …

Pam:  Okay then … when I’m not writing - I work, play with my kids, I'm a brownie troop leader for my 7 year old, I fantasize about Drake Walker

Gen: Working...always working. Jobs are stupid. And I have this part time gig called a husband and two teenagers.

Anitah: Playing with my kids, being annoyed by my irl hubby and photographer on the side.

Alicia: Be a mom and all the "Mom" stuff that comes along with it..... oh and work...

Megs: And for fun?

Anitah: Photography for fun. I love taking pictures and scoping out new places to take them.

Gen: I used to crochet a lot. I taught myself to cross stitch. I like hobbies that keep me away from electronics.

Alicia: ummm good question. Write?? Crafts. Garden. I actually really didn't know how much I enjoyed it until last year.

Pam: Writing is my favorite past time currently. I also like to do arts and crafts with my kids, cooking..not baking, just to be clear...I like doing home improvement projects, painting, playing with my kids, hanging with my IRL hubs. Also, auditioning for a spot on Nailed It.

Gen: OMG! The first communion cake! It was amazing!

Megs: I should have made you make us a cake to go with this punch, Pam.  Alicia mentioned favorite things … What’s your favorite work that you have written? Feel free to answer this as a group and about your work individually.

Anitah: Definitely NOLA is one of my favorites

Alicia: Same

Gen: NOLA was amazing!

Megs:  And that stands for???  

Anitah: Oh - New Orleans! I didn’t write it but it’s still one of my favorites

Pam:  Megs, as the hosts of your show and now that you’re two glasses of purple drink in - we have some questions for you!

Gen: How did you come up with the idea to do these interviews? I think it's awesome because it really helps get to know the other people in the fandom. Oh! And what's your favorite color?

Megs:  The idea behind these interviews came from multiple conversations I had with some friends, especially @tmarie82, @lizeboredom, and @maxattack-powell.  I wanted to give back to this community but I wasn’t inspired to write fanfiction.  So I talked with them about different ways I could give back.  I wanted ways that were non-competitive and ways that I could highlight the work of a specific author or visual artist.  Multiple people mentioned how awkward it could be to reach out and start talking over tumblr but that they were always interested in process and the lives of the artists and I was like - I have no shame in asking all of the questions!  Let me ask and share what I learn.  Then I did a follower post - I think I had maybe 100 followers?  Maybe 150?  People had to enter - so I figured it was self selecting group and I did my first interview.  The Ellen saw my interview and offered me her time slot.

Oh! … and my favorite color is mint green.  

Anitah: How do you read so many fics to do your reviews? It’s amazing that you take all that time to do that and signal boost these writers to the fandom!

Megs: Awh, thanks!  The true answer is two fold.  One - tumblr mobile on my iphone.  Two - I’m a huge nerd.  I wake up and pretty much immediately start reading.  I read in line at the grocery store.  I read while waiting for the programs we use at work to switch between screens - because shit if that doesn’t sometimes take 5 minutes.  Why should I stare at the screen while the wheel of death turns when I can read a couple paragraphs about the men in my life?

Pam: How do you decide what to read? Are writers or fics recommended to you or is it just luck?

Megs:  At this point - tumblr tags probably play a larger than appropriate influence on what I read. I tend to check my notifications first and start there.  I’m a sucker for having a conversation, sharing a joke, or getting a response from another person - be in the author or another fangirl or fanboy.  I definitely take recommendations though.  And, on the off chance that I can just choose what I read, then I go through my feed and see what strikes my fancy.

Alicia: What's your favorite thing you have read so far? And what is your funniest tumblr moment?

Megs: I have no clue what my favorite thing is that I’ve read.  There is so much amazing work … but before I talk about my own funnies - I will mention two stories that had me laughing.  One is by @hellospunkiebrewster called Blackouts and Bad Decisions and let’s just say that Bertrand has a tramp stamp.  If that doesn’t make you laugh - nothing will.  The other one was published far more recently by @laniquelovewrites.  It’s called The Lion Prince and it’s inspired by The Lion King.  I thought it was so funny that I read it to my husband.  Who also thought it was funny.  Hmmmm … as for my funniest tumblr moment … it’s probably been those times when I find a way to make an author’s characters ask for what I want.  Like in this post - where I pretend Ethan and I are changing the clocks in the author’s house so that I can get the next part of the story sooner.  I mean, I think I’m funny at least.

Megan: Nope! I have a hard time even “playing the field” in the choices games.  If I want to see what it’s like to be with another LI, I have to do another full playthrough.

Pam: Yes in real life and Pixelated life.

Anitah: (laughing hysterically) Well pixelated life we know the answer to that because...kinky king. And real life, yes.

Anitah: Not in a moment of passion but I have absolutely thought about it. I did however call my 3 year old son, who’s name starts with L, Liam, and he proceeded to correct me with his full name while giving me the stink eye.

Pam: Yep! My hubby is actually super supportive. He has helped me plot a few fics...the Drake and Pam chocolate wax disaster was made exponentially better by his suggestions. He is known as our cinnamon roll and Gen wrote him into a fic as owning a cinnamon roll shop..LOL. When Drake and I eloped, I made him call me Mrs. Walker the entire weekend and would not respond to any other names. I'm such an asshole

Anitah: (laughing) No way! He knows nothing! He doesn’t know about choices or that I’m in love with a pixelated man. He doesn’t know about tumblr or that I write. No one I know in real life knows anything about this. It’s like...my dirty little secret.

Alicia: yes and no. He does know about choices, he does know about Leo.. he does not know my level of infatuation with him.

Megs:  Yup!  My husband often asks “are you playing your stories?”

Gong Yoo silent fan here K-drama in times of ECQ part 2

The first time I watched Gong Yoo (GY) was in Coffee Prince when it was shown here in the Philippines in 2008. It was a typical love story but not quite. Typical because it was a love story between a boss and an employee and the struggles in a regular relationship. Not quite ordinary because the girl Yoon Eun-hye needed to pretend he was a guy in the coffee shop that GY owned and because of this, it softly touches on how society looks at gender issues particularly on relationships.

Generally, it was a good K-drama but not enough for me to be curious about the actors.  I have watched other Rom Com K-drama series and back then, I find them pretty much the same because before most of the K-drama series shown here were about love and relationship.  

Fast forward to these ECQ days that we all need to stay at home and do something in order to not go crazy. So I went back to watching K-drama series, old and new ones and like the rest of his fans worldwide I was smitten by GY!

A back story: A K-drama that I watched when I was still single which really led me to joining the official fans club here in the Philippines was Princess Hours also starring Yoon Eun-hye and Ju Ji-hoon.  How far did I go?  I went to the heights of finding the official fans of JJH here. I went out to meet them in Makati one Saturday afternoon and I felt some kinda weirdness. It was totally different when you just meet them in the chat group. We met at coffee shop and I was able to see the admins of the chat group.  I already forgot their names (actually I forgot my pen name in that chat group as well). They told stories about JJH, about going to Korea just to take a glimpse of the agency of JJH and taking a shot if in case he would be there so that they could meet him.  I remember we wrote letters to him and compiled it to a book and sent that to Korea to his agency.

I realized how it were to be a fan and not just a fan, a fan of an actor abroad! Hahaha I wondered if he ever did get or read our letters. It was too much! I said to myself I think I can’t bear to be a fan.

And now that we are in the mature years (I think =p) I am back in that couch in love with that man who played Goblin lol. But I said and realized that I am on a different level of maturity because unlike before, I just left the infatuation feeling to those who could and would. I was so curious to see how was GY’s acting, how he has evolved from that jerk boss turned sweet boyfriend in Coffee Prince to that dashing immortal Goblin who sought for that life to end and needed his bride to accomplish that.   I would say it was a thousand fold improvements. The emotional scenes would really move you. I specially loved the scenes with GY and Yoo In Na who played as his sister as well as the scenes involving Grim Reaper played by Lee Dong Wok when he is meeting the souls in a room filled with tea cups. I wonder if in real life there is such a creature like the Grim Reaper who would be there when you die and meet you at the tea room. And of course who will not rave about the scenes between GY and Kim Go-eun. My favorite scene of them was the first time they met while they were walking. Actually they did not even meet; they just passed by each other. You know how in K-dramas that they do that slow-motion effect plus the musical scoring. I just loved the simple serendipity effect. Another favorite is when KGE passed away and was in the tea room (another tea room scene).

GY and KGE will make you laugh, cry well not at the same time but really in a fascinating way. It was a love story untold before so I am just purely amazed.

After watching Goblin, I became so curious of GY’s other Kdramas series. So I researched and found Big which he starred with Lee Min-jung.  Hmmm it is in between Coffee Prince and Goblin so I would say out of 10 I would give it a 6.  The story is about a girl with a dream of becoming a teacher and a boy from the US who transferred to Korea when his mother passed away. The boy and the girl (LMJ) met at the school where LMJ works. The boy met an accident with a man (GY), coincidentally was LMJ’s boyfriend. Their souls interchanged so when the man (GY) woke up, it was the boy’s soul inside him. Before the accident, they were having problems actually they were supposed to meet when the accident happened. I guess the problem I had here was that the ending was complicated. The sequence was not clear that in the end the boy’s soul would remain in GY’s body.  

After watching his Kdrama series, I feel that GY is stereo-typed in these roles the boyfriend, the good looking boyfriend who would love you forever and ever. I sometimes think that I guess it is what the market is looking for, stories that would make your heart flutter and I was thinking if GY would accept other roles which is not stereo-typed, I guess he would not be as popular as he is now.  I hope to see him portray a different but still cool role in K-drama series. I heard there are talks that GY will be joining a new series which will start shooting this August and it is a sci-fi story so this is something to watch out, I think that wish of mine was easily granted lol.

Acting-wise, I believe that GY has improved a lot. To be fair, the stories also differ as the love stories are also matched with action, comedy and important scenes which totally builds up the uniqueness of each story.  Not to forget the co-actors who are equally great and in parallel with GY. Oh well I think I will stop here as I have not yet written about GY’s movies which is on a totally different level.

“Yes, we’re from China, so he doesn’t understand too much Korean. Thank you so much for accepting us, I hope my little boy adapts well to the school here.” The mother is seen off, much to the dislike of her son. He hid his face behind her for so long, and now you finally had the chance to see his chubby cheeks and little pout. You knelt down to his level, trying to see his eyes through his bangs. His arms were crossed and his lip quivered slightly.

“Junhui, right?” He nodded after a couple of seconds. “Do you want to meet the other kids now?” He shook his head no. “Then... do you want to stay by me? You don’t have to talk to the other kids if you don’t want to.” Jun nodded again after some short time span and then immediately clung to your leg when you rose back up. You offered your hand instead, which he grasped as if it were his lifeline. You chuckled. It’s been a while since you had some of the shyer kids. He wasn’t to blame though, Junhui was transferring four months into the school year after all.

The minute you walked into the door with Jun by your side you were bombarded. You shielded Jun with your body quickly. “Soonyoung, what do you think you’re doing?!”

“The other kids helped me decide my new code name! Kwon Fire! I rise up and eat up everything in my path!” Soonyoung spread his arms out as if he were imitating a traveling flame. He turned to you and beamed. “Isn’t that cool?”

You smiled, checking on Jun to make sure he didn’t get hit anywhere on accident. He was clutching onto the back of your shirt, unharmed but a little intimidated from Soonyoung’s radiance. Radiance. “Hey, Soonyoung. Fires are kind of scary, don’t you think? You said you wanted to be a hero that doesn’t scare everyone away?”

“Yeah.”

“How about... a star?” Soonyoung stopped hopping around and pointed into the day lit sky curiously.

“You mean like the ones up there?”

“Yeah.” You nodded. “Your energy and smile are very bright. Why not be as bright as a star?”

“What about the sun?”

“Soonyoung,” you said. You touched both of his shoulders and smiled warmly. “There are stars even brighter than the sun. I think you’re one of them.” You could have sworn that you saw Soonyoung blush. His smile returned and he hopped over to his friends.

“I’m a star! I’m a star!” Hoshi hopped up and down along with some other kids. He grinned widely. “Did you know that I know what star in Japanese is?!” You shook your head and asked to hear it. “Hoshi!”

“Well, Hoshi. Let’s go round up the other kids for snack time.” Soonyoung, or “Hoshi,” was practically glowing at this point. He squealed and ran off to go collect a group of kids for snack time. Snack time was a little early, but you wanted to make sure that Jun wasn’t overwhelmed by the energy of the other kids in Hoshi’s group. You looked at said boy, who was still hiding behind you, and ruffled his hair. “Let’s go eat!”

You lead the small boy to an empty circular table and told him you’d be back. He seemed reluctant to have you go, but it seemed like he understood. You made your way to one corner of the class where some plastic instruments and a shelf stuffed with books were. Additionally, there was a kid gently placing some of those books behind the shelf where a previous student had hid away the books he wanted to read.

You crouched down next to the boy, who had stopped reading and was watching you. “Wonwoo, do you want a snack?”

“It’s early today.”

“Yeah, there’s a new student. He’s a little quiet and doesn’t know a lot of Korean, do you want to sit with him? He can be a new friend.” Wonwoo looked over at Jun’s table and locked eyes with the boy. They both looked away quickly and the boy next to you shuffled closer. He was a little shy too, but with time you knew he’d warm up to Jun and vice versa. You moved the hair out of his eyes and gave Wonwoo a comforting look. “I’ll sit at the table with you two if you want.”

“Okay.” Wonwoo grabbed your hand and followed you to the table, where a pouty Jun sat. He saw that Wonwoo was holding your hand and started to sulk a little bit. You noticed this and laughed quietly, hoping not to embarrass him. Wonwoo let go of your hand and took a seat across from Jun’s.

“You boys can talk if you want to. I’ll go grab someone to help pass out today’s snack.” Junhui stopped his pouting for a split second to look at you with pleading eyes. He was begging you to stay or to take him with you. Little did he know that Wonwoo was doing the same. “You two will be fine. Three minutes, it’s short. I promise.”

You walked away and started passing out bowls of fruits to the tables of kids. You noticed that a table that was previously empty of plastic bowls and spoons had such things messily placed. 

“It’s okay, I’m helping out! That’s what the ‘Hero of the Stars’ does!” Hoshi said with two bowls of fruit in each hand. There was a spoon placed into each bowl, but one of the spoons was placed so that the handle was lodged into the mess of sticky fruits. Chuckling, you grabbed another bowl for Hoshi and followed him to the table where Wonwoo and Junhui sat. Among those two boys sat another.

“Jihoon?” Jihoon turned his head around, munching on some strawberries. He hummed as his mouth was full. You smiled instead of speaking. He flushed slightly and finished chewing.

“You have it wrong, I didn’t come because they looked awkward here. This is my table.” Jihoon stuffed more fruits into his mouth and refused to look up from his bowl. Hoshi set the bowls down and immediately started eating from the one you set down for him while you cleaned the handle of the plastic spoon for Wonwoo. You fixed Jihoon’s hair and sat at the table with the four boys.

“No need to be shy, we won’t judge,” Hoshi managed to say through all the fruits in his mouth, but slurred still.

“Woozi* won’t judge? Who’s that?” Jihoon asked. Hoshi finally swallowed his food and sprouted a cheeky grin. The former of the two groaned and you had to move the bowl so that he wouldn’t slam his face into his food. 

“That’s your new hero name! Mine is Hoshi! I have some power like the stars, what should we make yours?” Woozi... Jihoon thought for a second.

“I like to make music.”

“Really?! Can I hear it?” 

“Let’s eat first, Hoshi.” You chided. Hoshi pouted and returned to eating his fruits. Jihoon gave you a grateful look.

“Hey! Wonwoo stole a strawberry!” Hoshi yelled. You glanced up at Wonwoo and saw that his eyes were widened, but the corners of his mouth were tilted up slightly.

“I didn’t take it,” Wonwoo stated, then tilting his head over to Jun. “He did.”

Jun stopped munching an apple slice and looked at the two boys in front of him. He caught onto Wonwoo’s game and the hints of a smirk came onto the child’s dace. “Are you sure Woozi didn’t take it?”

“My name is not Woozi.”

“Ah! He’s not denying it, he’s the perp!” Wonwoo shouted. Hoshi quickly grabbed his spoon and tried to steal some fruit from Jihoon’s bowl.

“I thought we would be partners! Heroes stick together! I see that you’ve turned! Turned into a rotten fruit!” You watched Jun and Wonwoo share a smile when Woozi took his bowl and started to run around the table, Hoshi in pursuit. “Jeez, you may have small legs but you’re really fast!”

“You boys... seriously. You two didn’t want to talk to each other a couple minutes ago and now you’re already scheming.” You clicked your tongue. Wonwoo and Junhui shared another smile, pretending to innocently finish up the last of their fruits. Jihoon sat back at the table and placed down an empty bowl. “Did you finish?”

He nodded. “As I was running I ate the rest of my apples.”

Hoshi sat back down at the table too, pouting even more. “Hey! As you were running you stole one of my apple slices! One of them is gone!”

You sighed and told Hoshi you’d give him some extra fruit if he would settle down. He agreed and began to eat the fruit that he actually had left in his bowl. When the rest of the class had finished eating you allowed a free time period. It would last longer since snack time came earlier than usual.

You made it back to the four boys after helping a group of girls wash their hands from clay and marker. They were all discussing something and getting pretty passionate about it, but it looked like they were having a lot of fun. 

“No! I want Jun and I to be the dancers! We’ll be the flashy guys who will catch the most attention.” Hoshi shouted, making Jihoon shake his head.

“Then what are the vocals for?”

“They’re the music for us when we’re dancing!”

“Hey, that’s not fair. I still don’t have a part yet,” Wonwoo said.

“You can sing too,” Hoshi said and crossed his arms. Wonwoo did the same.

“I don’t want to sing.”

“Then dance?”

“I don’t want to dance.”

“He can be one of those flashy rappers,” Jihoon settled. Wonwoo huffed but agreed.

“What?! You said no rappers but you’re letting Wonwoo be one!” Hoshi hopped up and down, flailing his arms about. “That’s not fair!”

“At least he’s cool enough to be a rapper,” Jihoon teased. Hoshi stuck his tongue out in response and grabbed Jun.

“Whatever, I’ll show you my awesome dancing skills. Then you show me yours. We’ll blow the whole stage away with how awesome we look!” Jihoon rolled his eyes and tapped Wonwoo on the shoulder.

“We’ll make the lyrics then. You can also play...” He reaches behind him and takes out a plastic xylophone. “You can play this... but take really good care of it, okay? It’s special.” Wonwoo nodded and inspected the little instrument with scratches on the side of it and fading color. “I’ll play this toy piano. I’m learning how right now and reaching the keys are hard on a real piano. This one is easy though even if the keys only go from C to G and it doesn’t even sound like a real piano.”

“What’s going on over here?” You asked, sitting among the group of boys.

“We’re forming a band!” Jun said and makes his way over to you. He plopped himself down to your left and pointed to each boy and began explaining their role in the band. “Woozi-”

“My name is Jihoon. Lee Jihoon.”

“...Woozi is the only one who knows how to play the piano, so he’s in charge of our music. I want to learn too, but my mom said I can learn once she finds a teacher for me. Wonwoo said he’s going to be a rapper and help Woozi write the lyrics. Hoshi and I are going to dance.”

You beamed at the four boys. “Sounds like you have everything all set and organized.” They all nodded and smiled back. “Make sure to show me your performance, okay?”

“Don’t worry,” Wonwoo said. “We’ll invite you to our first ever performance. So make sure to come and watch. Cheer us on, okay?”

I'm seventeen years old and I think I have depression. All teenagers are emotional, I get that, but I know this is more. When I'm occupied and around people for a few hours at a time or less, I'm fine and usually even happy. Then when I actually have time to stop and think and let my mind wander, I usually feel kind of hopeless and just very sad. I also have other emotional issues, like the littlest things seem to enrage me. Also, I read somewhere that depression can cause physical issues such as digestive issues (which I have been having a lot of the past four or five months). Basically, my mom got mad because I said I didnt feel comfortable talking to her and she refused to send me to a counselor, then she said she would send me to a counselor (at that time I had insurance) but she never actually ended up doing anything. At this point I regret making a claim and wish i could turn back the clock. I am being forced into a box and it looks shady. A few days ago I scraped a co-worker's vehicle in our work parking lot. She wasn't in a proper parking space, but whatever, it was clearly my fault. I am paying for repairs to her car. I am currently 19 years old and I want to buy myself a new car. It would be about 200 dollars a month for the current car i'm driving for car insurance but it is in my fathers name so I only pay 80. Now pretty much any new car I am choosing the quotes are over 400 a month. Would have car insurance in my name for my current car at 200 a month for 6 months until the policy is over make the quotes for the new car cheaper? Or is the quotes based off of how long I've had my license?
