-The scientific name for Dusknoir is "Comprendo Reapa" which roughly translates to "Gripping Reaper"

-In the wild, Dusknoir are nocturnal and live in swamps, dark forests, graveyards, and badlands

-Wild Dusknoir rarely ever breed or mate due to their duties. Duskull and Duskclops are the ones carrying out their entire species. However, if a Dusknoir does mate with another species, they often leave after a couple of months

HOWEVER, this myth likely stems from Dusknoir following people and pokemon who are about to die, like the very sick or elderly

-In Galar, Dusknoir are more feared because many Galarians believe in the myths of "Dusknoir stealing your soul and eating it." Because of this, Dusknoir are often rare to see since they steer away from people to avoid unwanted negative attention. The belief likely stems from Galarians' fear of mysticism

-Researchers believe that there might be a ghost/ground type variant of Dusknoir that live in deep caves and will lure spirits to them
