Still thinking so hard abt the TMA x HSH

Honestly debating if Jon would have encountered a dream weaver or a false artifact, while dream weaver definitely hits the nail on the head for mr. spider i feel like false artifact would fit Jon’s actual EXPERIENCE/encounter better. Actually i could mix BOTH of them. The false artifact would still be a snare that leads to a ‘missing kid’ but it’d instead lead Jon to Mr. Spider, who was in fact a dream weaver left starving and trapped in an abandoned home ooo. Jon wouldnt stay missing tho, which kinda diverges a tad from HSH, but i still rather like the idea.

Also in general for the AU i did consider beholding or buried (HSH’s storyline kinda fits it WELL lol), but i also am thinking about extinction instead?? Maybe spiral, but the idea of introducing wholly unnatural pests as something totally normal and typical, especially if at a slower rate that makes it feel like a live updating catalogue, feels a bit like “horrible emerging replacements” for pests (esp in the game where nearly ALL later reports are no longer natural, the bar of the normal being changed) that extinction kinda embodies. I think beholding WOULDVE worked if it wasnt so focused on “watch dont act”,,, picking up people’s “statements” is perfect but the help hotline aspect is a bit too misaligned for me.

Honestly,,, once i grind thru my fucking finals i might actually make artwork or SMTH for this other than just rambling textposts LOL
