Hmmmm i honestly don’t know! I know i’m not really the best writer out there, nor am i really the best person to send asks too (i am a slow responder,,,) so i can’t really answer that knowing my flaws.

Though i did have a prior experience in tumblr before! I had a blog before this with a different fandom (anime heheh), and i guess that’s what gave me an advantage,,, like knowing when is the right time to post, and also the manipulation of the tags (idk if it’s still a thing, but did you guys know that tumblr only reads the first 5 tags you have… yeah, it was like that before idk if it’s still like that now, but it seems like it). I know it sounds very purposive, but well that’s how it is. Though I do not really care about being a “big acc”, it was still pleasing to see people liking my works,,

I guess also knowing who your audience are would be good. And knowing your capabilities. The reason I only write sfw is because I once had a blog with sfw and n$fw. It did not turn out well. Not that i’m saying it will be the same with others! I think it’s just more difficult (for me) to handle both at once, knowing that i do not write not sfw most of the time,,, which means most of my target audience would be sticking to mostly sfw stuff. So i went with that. Being confident and constant with your works is a good way to grow as a blog and as a writer. (Idk if this is making sense but i hope it does,,) Being constant also includes having a schedule! Well, idk if it’s what makes my account grow,,, but posting a lot did make people see my posts a lot and it might’ve recognized me as that person that posts at this time of the day or smth!

It’s not easy to be a writer here,,, you may not get a lot of interactions with this post than the previous one,, and so on. But… most of the time, that’s how it is. Unless tumblr algorithm becomes better or that people will start reblogging than just giving out likes, that’s how it is. But we have each other! And pls don’t hesitate to reach out whenever you want :)) writing is not all about the notes,, but it can also be with how you view your work as a whole and how you’re improving in your own way. If tumblr is not working for you, you may go and try out other sites too! Like ao3! Tbh i’ve been in other sites before (wattpad, quotev, ao3, etc) and maybe it’s also just finding your audience too, where you feel like you and you feel like you’re improving.

- the one on his face is special because he can’t really cover it, and even though Ladon cut his eye (the scars right under it and leads down to his jawline), it’s almost as if the dragon opened his eyes to everything that’s wrong with the gods

- when it fades over and isn’t as bloody it almost looks like a tear

- sometimes he’ll trace the scars when he’s laying down with his fingers and it sends him into slight anxiety attacks when he runs his finger and the scar keeps going, it’s so long and horrifying looking it makes him feel sick

- He sleeps on his back or kinda spread out so he doesn’t have to feel his scars underneath him

- He prefers to sleep in the dark, pitch black and can’t look in mirrors for the first few weeks, at least with his body.

- He’s scared of himself.

- Three weeks after his quest he’s just heading off to bed early after the campfire and one of the younger new campers gets up and hugs him goodnight. Luke’s shirt rides up a bit and he freezes but the short kid just hugs him closer and that changes everything for him.

- Instead of taking his shirt off to work out or smth he just cuts the sleeves off so it’s not so hot

- Swims in surf shirts that are really tight though and outlines his abs and nice ass titties so 👁👁

- He hates picking strawberries for camp, he loves the smell but isn’t exactly a gardener and doesn’t prefer it

- On Thalia’s birthday he always goes to her tree with a slice of cake for her

- He rolls his sleeves up and tucks a pencil behind his ear when he’s teaching younger kids

- and he loves history

- Has a small fascination with history facts and wars and random events he’ll recite stuff to anyone who will listen

- And he’s really bad at math until you put it into money terms (Hermes things)

- just make all the numbers into currency and he’s got you in seconds

- He’s got a really raspy husky morning voice and doesn’t bother to clear his throat for a while

- Luke can play the lyre wonderfully but he’s pretty embarrassed about it so he just tells everyone he can play guitar

- But if you’re lucky enough to hear him play the lyre with his long fingers and sing,, oh boy

now to diss Gen. i get that she's trying to be protective of the little sister, but she's stepping on boundaries there, like, she's not just trying to make sure the option for divorce is there, she's created a narrative in her head where Satoru absolutely can't change and y/n must have this divorce but the "problem" is that she's not thinking about that.

idk i get the feeling that Gen hasn't really realised that y/n is actually an adult who's entitled to making her own choices, and trying to manage her marital life like this for her, i don't know, if i were y/n i'd feel deeply disrespected but maybe that's just me being too proud ? i really don't know

i love how each character is basically struggling with their own self. i just remembered ive am anonymous sent an ask before saying smth similar lol. and what i mean by this is that the plot is moved by each character's flaws and more specifically their wants

Satoru, at first, wanted to satisfy his feeling of not being enough, his insecurities born from the absence of his mother and the abuse of his father. he wanted to be the powerful CEO and the one to put a fight with the world because that's what he wanted to do, hence the whole ordeal with Sera. (im guessing that's the case since emotional support was absent in their relationship)

y/n's downfall comes from the fact that she wanted to picture perfect marriage and family so much that she kept trying to fit everything in that frame, hoping that Satoru would follow, which led her to the extreme stress and her illness. i know patience is virtue and that things appear to have turned out for the better... idk maybe it's the greek inside me talking but there's this ancient phrase, "παν μέτρον άριστον" it means to do and feel everything within a certain limit but then again there's this other phrase: "Πάντων χρημάτων μέτρον Ἄνθρωπός ἐστι" which means that every person defines what that limit is for themselves.

as for Sera, she's not on the wrong for wanting some stability and safety, i really can't blame her for that, but she's definitely crossed that limit between wanting and obsessing with these.

Eula, wants too much. Gen wants to protect her sister so much to the point she's trying to shield her from life itself, hence trying to deprive her of the right to make her own choices. idk the fuck's Naoya's deal but im guessing there's more to him as well. Satoru's father too definitely has a lot of underlying insecurities as well.

it's interesting for me to see the repetition of this theme across almost every character. the same instinct, the very same want can manifest itself is so many different ways and although it comes with many forms, at the end of the day it's still that very same want that drives them.

i feel like, surprisingly enough, Satoru was the first -and so far the only- character to escape this want by realising his love for y/n. maybe, just maybe, all that hate was undeserved in retrospective.

and i feel that Toji, another character who doesn't appear to have a want, and often serves as a listener and observer, sees this.

anyway, i just realised that i've analyzed your works also as much as oi have Gogol and Dostoyevsky's oops

i really wish i could send asks more often but seeing that you're always working so much for this blog, i don't mind.

Ok i havent read the 16th chapter but i recently finished reading the 15th one (it was amazing IMO) and read so many asks about gen being extra and she needs to keep her nose out of YNs marriage

I can’t believe she knows about everything… like the Bora Bora trip and Sera’s pregnancy scare. Dude call me a masochist, but I am still waiting for this confrontation. i’ve honestly never been one to enjoy long, serialized fics but i legit LOVED sincerely not so much that i stayed up til 4am just to finish the entire thing in one go (my hand may have also slipped bc i ended up creating a playlist inspired by it and now i can’t listen to traitor x burn without thinking about sn ?? i just love how developed the characters are and how you’ve taken them from the jjk verse and put them into this au without compromising their personalities and the traits that make them so endearing. and the original characters are so interesting too!! meeting sera and reading about her devolution into a really sinister character made me detest her (esp since i have been cheated on and it wasn’t a pleasant experience at all), but man sometimes it feels like she’s getting caught up in all this rich people drama, like parasite (2019) anyone ?? people from lower social strata have to compromise their morals for survival ?? your fic isn’t just a well-written romance, it’s also a reminder of the ills of our capitalist society (again your power !!)

Really (still) don’t like Sera, yet I feel right when she’s somewhat getting she’s being played, she gets played again! hey there! i have a few questions i'm confused about related to ocd. i'm not diagnosed with ocd but i do have anxiety (health and general anxiety) and when i asked my therapist regarding this, she said it didn't point towards ocd. so here i am bcs i wanna learn where to draw the line.

i've been having a anxious period for the last two weeks. so mostly what if intrusive thoughts like "what if my anxiety never recovers?" keep coming a few times but i can deal with them.

however, last week i read a post and after that, a certain word started popping up in my mind. it was bothersome at first but then i eventually got over it. but then a random person told me it sounds like ocd and i got anxious about that.

now the word barely pops up but when it does, it doesn't bother me. however, what makes me anxious is the "what if its ocd?" thought. i know it sounds weird but rather than actually having other intrusive thoughts, the thought that's making me anxious the most is "since i have/had a word in my mind, it indicates ocd."

my therapist says it could've been ocd in case it was the word (and other words/thoughts) that bothered you but instead what's causing you distress is the what if its ocd thought as in i've self diagnosed myself and my anxiety brain is making me believe it. she said that it points more towards anxiety.

but now i find myself questioning every one of my habits. like does me choosing/preferring certain colors over others, buying/using only light colored cloth hangers bcs they look more positive, finding one side of bed better than other, praying everyday bcs i don't like skipping it, sitting at the end of the table or just me wanting to stick to my schedule, are these compulsions? or are these just habits and preferences? these choices don't impact my life in any way nor do they make me anxious and i can change those up easily but now, i find myself questioning them.

i'm sorry if you find this bothering you. that was not my intention. i just had some questions as to where do we draw the line between daily habits and ocd compulsions? or even between anxiety what ifs (like what if i have xyz disease?) and ocd obsessions/compulsions?

I’m gonna start off by saying I’m not a professional - heck, I am not even diagnosed with ocd and I still on and off doubt that I have it - so I’m by no means the authority on what is and isn’t ocd, but I can try offer my opinion?

I’m not entirely sure how much research you’ve done into ocd and I still myself struggle to know what is and isn’t a sign of ocd. The constant wondering if the thing is ocd could be rumination, which is I believe a type of compulsion, but I can’t say for certain whether that’s directly a result of ocd.

The things you listed in that one paragraph I suppose could be ocd, but since you said it doesn’t cause you anxiety it’s possible it’s also not. To my knowledge, compulsions are usually done out of a state of anxiety. For example, someone who has a hand washing compulsion will find it deeply uncomfortable and anxiety inducing to not wash their hands when the desire pops up. I don’t really think that if it’s related to ocd that you can easily just change them, but again I’m not an expert. It’s an uncontrollable intrusive thought that leads to the action rather than a matter of preference. I guess it kinda depends why you do them. Do you pray every day because that’s your routine or because you’re worried that if you don’t something bad will happen?

Ocd is marked by obsessions, compulsions and intrusive thoughts. So someone might have something like “if I don’t flick the light switch 7 times, my whole family will die”, and so they have to do the compulsion of flicking the light switch to relieve that anxiety. There’s also a subtype of ocd called Pure O (or Pure Obsessional), who do has a misleading name because you still get compulsions, they’re just more internal. For example, you might worry “what if I have cancer” and then you think about it a lot, research the symptoms online, ask people if they’ve noticed anything, etc.

The only thing I can suggest is perhaps doing more research? I mean for me personally researching is part of my problem - I crave certainty and so I research different mental health disorders for hours a day in hopes it’ll give me an answer (which it doesn’t besides maybe some temporary relief). Try looking up different types of ocd, see examples of different obsessions and compulsions, maybe check tags on Tumblr or even reach out to ocd specific accounts if they have asks or smth open. I’ve learned a lot from just sending people messages asking about it and hearing other people’s experiences with it. Maybe you could even write down things that you think could be symptoms, then maybe bring them up with your therapist? Say that it’s been worrying you and you’d like to talk through it? I don’t have a therapist so idk how it works, sorry

I’m sorry if this answer isn’t helpful. Again, I’m not a professional or even diagnosed with ocd, so most of my knowledge is based on researching the symptoms I personally seem to have. You’re welcome to dm me if you like, but I think there are probably people who would be way more helpful to talk to. ^^;;

she does!! she was doing an apprenticeship under him but has since graduated to doing her own thing (but she still works at his parlor). i can’t get into the whole plot because spoilers but angels/demons and agnes nutter’s prophecies still exist in the iaf universe, but anathema isn’t her descendant. instead, anathema is a wickedly smart computer genius and her boyfriend newt is an endearing but kind of inept descendent of agnes. anathema was azra’s good friend-turned-wingwoman once anthony shows up. i love her

ooo ive been thinking about this as well! i dont think anthony would necessarily have a “coming out moment”, they just kind of do what they want. if they feel like presenting fem or using different pronouns they would just. do it. and azra would just kind of roll with it. i like to think that the first time anthony presented fem she got all dressed up for date night and didn’t tell azra and azra just Stares bc,,,, wow anthony is just gorgeous like that!! azra’s dead!!!

bfdkjfdh im cry,,,, just keep practicing my friend!!! i promise it’ll get you where you want to go. the last couple of months have been really nice for me in my ~art journey~ because its the first time i’ve ever really liked stuff that i’ve drawn. ive been drawing for about 7-8 years and this is only just happening and it varies so much from person to person!! some people get to where they want to go in 2 years, some people take 20. just don’t stop practicing!!
