it was an honor, my friend.
"You're a strong kid, Ichigo. Whatever happens, you make this count."
The time of final battle draws near, and he has done everything to even the odds. His presence on the battlefield has done much to relay the broken forces of the Gotei, to lessen the burdens others feel, and now he is out of options. No amount of tactical maneuvering or strategic brilliance will allow them buy more time. And time is what they need. The others are not ready, Ichigo isn't ready. The pieces needed to ensure victory haven't even been brought to the field.
In moments like this when an army is on the verge of defeat that the commander realizes they must sacrifice something or lose everything. Someone must stand in front of the cavalry to break the charge, someone must wither the powder and ball shot that peppers the body. Hayden is not the victory condition. Yet, he knows what he must do to ensure such a condition is met. He sucks in a sharp breath turning his head forward. There is no going back.
The callous on his hands have wielded many weapons over his two centuries of life and death. Knives, swords, rifles, pistols, any everything between. Everything that he is, and ever could be, was forged into a weapon for some reason he has never known. In this moment, that reason is revealed.
The Almighty, The Emperor, stands overwhelming an all-encompassing. On the verge of godhood. Hayden cannot possibly defeat him.
But he can delay, and he can hurt him. It will cost everything. A sacrifice given freely.
He lifts his Zanpakatou by the hilt, his blade is towards the ground beneath him. His face contorts into strain as his mouth opens, and a roar escapes. The last sound Hayden might ever make that Ichigo would bare witness to. That loud baritone which rarely ever raises his voice is now booming, screaming, from the bottom of his gut. As if to ensure that something of him remains in this world, that Ichigo Kurosaki witnesses everything that Hayden is. His blade strikes the ground as he takes a knee, it penetrates through the ground violently. The world shakes for a second as he releases one word:
"Bankai!"
Blackness erupts from around the wound in the Earth, it spreads like a sea outward in all directions. It moves to encircle both Hayden and Yhwach, pushing away anyone or anything which enter into the darkness with them. It isn't too dissimilar to a particular forbidden Kido once used but this feels different. It feels of finality and death.
Hayden rarely uses his Bankai. It is how one might say, situational. It is a Bankai that is straightforward in its design, and truly confers no true benefits. It traps two opponents in a box which has no exit and no entrance, impossible to leave and impossible to enter. Not an prison, an arena comprised of two soul's energy. Within it's boundaries the people made equals in spiritual might, any abilities which might exist negated. It forces a battle of endurance and physical prowess.
It makes mortals into gods, and gods into mortals. Until the energy of the two are exhausted by battle. Each strike draining that energy, each wound draining that energy. Ultimately, the goal is to see who can deal with the pain longer. Who has the better training. It removes the gimmicks which plague this world and turns it into a test of who is merely the best fighter.
Normally such an ability would be a godsend against the Almighty. But he has never tested it against something like Yhwach. At the very least, between the reserves of Hayden and Yhwach? They could be imprisoned for millennia, fighting an endless battle. Locked in a cage, screaming in madness. Who knows.
It is too late to turn back.
"I heard you dislike conflict. Painful battles. You'll hate this."
Hayden's voice is a mixture of amused grimness, and genuine contempt. He does not have his Zanpakatou. Instead he has only his fists, his callous palms. He takes a step towards Yhwach, and another, beginning to stride towards him. Every step towards him brings him closer to his ultimate foe. He is everything Hayden could never be. Their values diametrically opposed. Their beliefs cruel reflections. Despite the rage in Hayden's heart, it is rarely towards those who are his opponents. Soldiers made enemies by the beliefs of their nation, men who he has killed in the course of human events. But this particular human, holds his contempt.
He has seen first hand the deprivations of Yhwach, against his allies and even his enemies.
When Hayden reaches Yhwach, and his hands turn from open palms to closed fists. Perhaps Yhwach thinks his abilities might work here which is why he fails to react. The crack of Hayden's knuckles against his jaw rings out in the silent void, and with that a beat commences. Left, right, left, and right. Fists thrown in rapid succession, violence their only intention. Each hit stumbles the man backwards, shocked and appalled. Yhwach has forgotten what true pain is. He has been Almighty too long. He has forgotten mortal things.
And Hayden exists to remind him.
He grasps the man's head jerking it downwards, he raises his knee. Yhwach's nose is broken by the blow, his eyes roll backwards. Only for the rules of the Arena to fix the damage Hayden has caused at the expense of energy. Every motion and breath both of them breathe drains energy, the least Hayden can do is remind God how it feels to bleed.
A black box where he is finally allowed to cut loose. The difference between the two is stark. Hayden has trained to be a warrior, and Yhwach has forgotten what to be a warrior is.
Yhwach hates conflict.
Hayden is nothing but conflict.
Yhwach believes a quick death is mercy.
Unfortunately, Hayden believes in no such thing.
The clock is ticking, he only hopes those outside the box will be prepared when it drops. For Hayden has truly signed a death sentence.

"kubo just really seems to hate Japanese nationalism?" This is the first time I have heard this, would you mind elaborating on how Bleach criticizes Japanese nationalism?
I'm not surprised to hear this as I don't really see it come up much. I have seen a few times critique of Japanese conservatism through Bleach come up, but never quite as fully as I feel the comic deserves. Anyway...The thing to note with Japanese nationalism is that it is highly militaristic and that it is based around forming a very particular narrative about Japan. Namely, one of Japan as a uniquely wonderful and gifted nation full of one joined ethnicity. A joined ethnicity that doesn't vary. Part of this has been managed by the attempt to homogenize Japanese culture as a whole. So Shinto, for example, only became a single religion fairly recently. And in the 40's following the war, attempts were made to standardize it. Since Shinto's more like several religions in a trench coat than a single religion. These attempts have involved creating fake rituals in places like Abashiri, a historically Ainu area, which have the air of an imperial procession. This ritual is claimed to be "local". It's not. It had nothing to do with the local culture until it became convenient to claim it did. So what in the hell does this have to do with Bleach. So Soul Society is the primary method through which criticism of Japanese conservative culture occurs in the comic. Right from the get go we can see like...The kind of mythic identity that nationalists really like. It's a traditional Japan. Everyone is dressed in traditional clothing, though the clothing is fanciful and not actually 100% accurate to any one era. The culture is split up in a form resembling Japanese feudalism, where the militarily powerful are given a great deal of power over those who cannot fight. The Soul Reapers basically being ghost pacifying/hunting samurai? And they are as callously cruel to those beneath them as samurai could be to real people. Complete with killing people for funsies seemingly and getting the hell away with it. Yet Soul Reapers occupy this space of respect. Soul Reapers also have a very Buddhist aesthetic. They dress in black, the color of Japanese priests, and perform things like sword meditation. Now this is not just any Buddhism that they seem to be based off. It's Zen Buddhism, the favored Buddhism of samurai. The Soul Reapers also do have strong ties to noble lines as samurai did. This is most striking to me in that an entire branch of the military is essentially owned by the Shihouin family and that moves were being made on expanding that to the Court Guard as well. An expansion that Soifon seemingly completes, as by the time we meet the Court Guard there is basically no difference between Second Division and the Secret Mobile Unit. This is important as samurai were a kind of warrior nobility. Now this allusion to samurai is important as samurai are a key part of Japanese nationalism as it exists now. Perhaps the most famous nationalist overseas is Yukio Mishima, an author. Mishima is famous for his writing but also for an attempted coup. He and a small militia stormed a military base in Tokyo, captured the commandant, and attempted to get the soldiers stationed there inspired to overthrow the Japanese constitution and reinstate imperial rule. When it became clear this was not going to work out, Mishima committed seppuku after shouting "Long live the Emperor!" And Mishima is just one example. Probably the most famous due to his failed coup and committing of seppuku while spouting nationalist horseshit. But like the point I wish to make here with Mishima is that Japanese nationalism is focused on a "traditional" Japan and has a love of the military and samurai in specific. So we look back at Soul Society. And we see that Soul Society kind of. Sucks? Actually. Rukia tells us it is peaceful there but like most people are living in the Rukongai. Many people's only chance at getting a less shit life is to attempt to get into a military position. And that military is extremely powerful and they make that known. They also have a very particular story about Soul Society that they wish to have maintained and a very particular order that they wish to have maintained. One that involves things like war crimes denial, glorification of the state and its military, and the fabrication of a false history built to instill a sense of pride. People don't know the Soul King is a dismembered corpse of a murdered god. They just know he's the Soul King and he is the highest of the high. And they know that Soul Reapers' work is vital to the continued functioning of the entire universe and is thus just and good. Because that's the story that gets told. And it gets told because if people knew the actual story they'd be pissed. And like all the big problems in the series fall back to this system. All of them. Rukia's execution order, the war with Aizen, the war with Yhwach. All of it falls back to things that Soul Society's god awful hell state have caused. With the two big ones being the false narrative that is perpetuated to control the people and the genocide of the Quincies. Aizen and Yhwach are beaten, yes, but at no point does the comic ever go "The Soul Reapers and Soul Society as it is under them is good actually". If anything, there is a strong point made that Soul Society under them fucking sucks and that these people have a point. And there is that part during Fullbring when Rukia stops and realizes that like. The seeming unchanging mass that is the Soul Society's history may crumble because of the change Ichigo has inspired. It's not the death or removal of power of one particular person she is thinking of. But the change of an entire system. An entire society. Also a cool fun note. Our good boy Ichigo who is the hero? He's mixed. He's not part of the mythic homogeneous Japanese people. He necessarily exists outside of it. Chad's also mixed and, hell, he comes from Mexico even. Chad was also born in Okinawa, which was forcibly annexed by Japan in 1879. Ishida? A Quincy! The victims of one of Soul Society's crimes. The group going against Soul Society and the bullshit its caused is largely comprised of elements that Japanese nationalism would have you believe either do not exist or which should not exist. I do have more thoughts on this subject, but this I think hits most of the bigger thoughts. And it is a bit thrown together on the spot. I do hope it explains why when I look at the comic I go "Wow, Japanese nationalism does suck doesn't it?"

I started typing this in the tags and then I was like, well, that's probably a mistake, so I'm aborting mission and just starting up here. XDD The whole land question in Soul Society has always been interesting to me, because if the souls of Rukongai do not need to eat, I feel like that removes one of the biggest motivators for ag and commerce that supports people eating, and why having a shitload of land would be valuable in any real way, since the eating population of the Seireitei isn't really that big, either, even if that means there's some element of Rukongai peasants farming on behalf of the Seireitei's food supply. But I guess that's also assuming that their value system would equate land only with value through arability, and if everything is reishi maybe they're better at valuing land as land than a lot of the LIving World tends to be. Land is land, tracts of land act as wells of reishi, and idk, this inspires status-play where owning a lot of land implies that your line will have greater reiryoku. Not through any direct biological mechanism, but through the general feeling that it's a way of maintaining your connection to the sacred/to the mystery that is the Soul King, or something like that.
(I don't actually *know* anything useful about this, except that the European divine right of kinds functions slightly differently than the conception of divinity re: the Japanese emperor. I feel like that might be generative for discussions about the Soul King business, except 1) I don't know enough political history or religious studies to have understood the one article I skimmed one time, except that a lot of the time it seemed like being a conduit for the divine in the Japanese sense was a much suckier deal than being a God-appointed King of France or whatever, and 2) I am a professional at retaining absolutely zero knowledge of anything even remotely related to the Soul King, LOL. SOUL KING WHOMST. Yhwach talks and my brain stops processing language, oh no.)
And maybe back in the way your power as a noble family could be demonstrated by the amount of land you could steward/keep clean of Hollows, up until this part gets less fun to them and becomes the purview of the Gotei. And now instead of that, we largely just have the districts as defined by the Gotei and maybe scattered in there some random nobles with connections to this or that area, like the Shiba. To say nothing of the districts that might be 'districted' nominally, but like, no one ever goes there or really knows what that is, like you mentioned!
And then the Seireitei is its own issue because even though it's a contained urban space with limited growth potential because it's got these giant walls constraining its edges, it's certainly not... hurting for space? Like, sure, we can be boring and say that no one's ever in the streets because it's a pain to draw/animate but I rather feel like the empty-streets quality is a huge part of the Seireitei's characterization, with a bunch of random empty buildings that nobody actual uses, and all the rooms are built just a little too big and the furniture never looks right in the space and it's all just a bit Weird. Which is a quality of the Seireitei's that I am very fond of!
I'm kind of into the idea that at some past point the population of the Seireitei used to be a lot larger, and it's been constricting for some time now. Well, I mean, post-TYBW it's even smaller. But pre-TYBW! So the Seireitei used to be right-sized at some point, maybe even a little too small and in need of expansion, and now that's not the case, and quite the opposite. I guess what I'm saying is that some element of the Seireitei gives me Detroit vibes. OR it was built in anticipation of a population boom that never actually happened.
(Even if the stated reason for "needing" to commit genocide against the Quincy was an issue of soul stoichiometry, I feel like simultaneous long-term anxieties about Seireitei and/or shinigami proliferation (let's say high spiritual energy souls, regardless of their enlistment/employment) would probably create a socio-political climate that would sway Seireitei denizens into thinking some type of way about Quincy and soul stoichiometry...)
Though now I've ended up in a place that has nothing to do with the original post and not a lot to do even with your post I am trying to reply to, which is what I was trying to avoid doing in the original post LOL because what a mess this reply is!!! But I've enjoyed all the directions these replies have gone anyway! I guess the full-circle here is that despite the fact that supply-and-demand would suggest obtaining land/property in the Seireitei would be achievable, the nobles were just like "fuck your supply-and-demand curve, land costs 999999999999999 eleventy kan. Begone, peasants. To the superfund pit with you!"
This probably requires a much longer, sprawling post (the number of tentacles increased exponentially every 2 seconds as I was thinking about this) but despite Gotei captains making good money and having fairly high social standing, I feel like land prices must be set artificially, astronomically high so that no one but the already-landed nobility [or a governmental entity, lie the Gotei] could possibly ever own anything. That 'officer's neighborhood' or whatever it is is cushy, but it's also technically just a reserve the nobility has consented to so that there's no reason for these people to live anywhere else (unless they already have property by virtue of being noble). Not sure how this works for commercial leases--are they subsidized by the 46? or does running a business require you to have some kind of arrangement with a noble family. DOES SILVER DRAGONFLY LEASE FROM THE KUCHIKI.
I'm not sure how this would work for Rukongai (except that surely it's very controversial to be buying/selling parcels in Rukongai to begin with, many considering it a foolish audacity to assume such a place can be owned) but I imagine that at the very least the property taxes (or whatever payments/responsibilities inhere in "ownership" in Rukongai, re: assuming responsibility for whatever shit happens out there/keeping it Hollow-controlled, etc.) present a functional barrier to ownership for most individuals.
The generational wealth gap (mostly in terms of having family vs. having no family, but also I guess in terms of shinigami who are really old vs. those who are not) must be bananas, too. But NO, NO, STOPPING, this post was supposed to be 2 sentences about Seireitei land prices and it's already about seventy other things. It's 9AM stopping STOPPING

pretentious post about quincy culture and folklore, because kubo designed them with very strong national attributes which were barely addressed - if at all - and i’m here to do them justice.  also because some ppl have wack takes on the quincy.
Tumblr media
i want to preface this by reminding yall that, while kubo used an european imagery for the wandenreich, it’s reasonable to assume that quincies are from all over the world, and therefore we can’t really speak of one homogeneous quincy culture. yhwach’s army is itself very ethnically diverse; it’s safe to assume every quincy carries their own cultural baggage with differences tied to their origins.  however, the goal of this post is to highlight not the differences, but rather what shows the quincy all belong to a single national entity based on a common set of values, traditions and folklore.
the culture of blood  — starting with blood seems somewhat fitting to me, since the quincy arc is called the blood war. blood is the red string that ties all quincies together:  the blood of their king, and through him, the blood of god. first of all, all quincy have blut  –  latent or not, the ability allows them an offensive or defensive use of their blood vessels. then, drinking yhwach’s blood is the culmination of the schrift-bestowal ceremony. as in the bible, the blood of the sacrifices marks moses’ covenant with god, and in mass you drink the blood of christ, blood marks the covenant of the quincy people as well.  one so strong it cannot be watered: ichigo, gemischt quincy by heritage, cannot resist the ancestral urge that is inherent in his blood when facing yhwach  – going as far as to turn against whatever he stands for, slashing the soul king, unconsciously activating blut too. blood is always thicker, isn’t it? and maybe that’s why quincy are adamantly attached to the concept of ‘blood purity’. while outdated it may be, i think it should be regarded as the expression of a cultural tendency at self-preservation of their kind as yhwach’s heirs and the soul king’s descendants. a tendency at preserving the holy covenant that exists within their blood.
the many-pointed star  —  throughout the last arc, we see that yhwach has several emblems of his own (the wendehorn, the three-pointed star resembling of a Y) but the most famous quincy symbol is the pentagram inscribed in a small circle.  the word pentacle or pentagram originally meant 'any symbol that protects against evil spirits' (very fitting for the quincy) and it exists in almost all the cultures. in a christian context, which seems to be the background for many european quincies, the pentagram symbolizes the star of bethlehem (christ’s place of birth, it gives me strong yhwach vibes), the five wounds of christ, and the five virtues of knighthood:  generosity, courtesy, chastity, chivalry and piety (”sir gawain and the green knight”, line 663, late 14th century). the quincy, especially the sternritters, aside from having ‘star’ in their name and the heavy religious themes, also retain a strong knight imagery. my point is, i’m sure quincy symbols vary across the globe and across the centuries, but the pentagram stays, as if it was some sign of an ancestral fear and the will to fight it.
the honor of the quincy  —  i stated in a post how i believe the concept of ‘quincy pride’ to be a relatively new one, which the generations following the genocide came up with in order to cope with the collective trauma and unite, in spite of it. so, i can’t say it’s effectively a rooted cultural element – but i can say that it will be one. the sons and grandsons and great-grandsons of the victims of the genocide will remember, the survivor of the blood war will remember. quincy pride will continue to exist, it will grow wings and travel, because as i said, yhwach’s army was ethnically diverse and so, i think, were those involved in the massacre.
the emperor’s song and other stories  —  all human groups feel the urge to tell themselves. when a group is persecuted, oppressed and systematically brought on the brink of extinction, that urge is amplified to the point it becomes a way to carry on, as individuals and as a collective. in canon, we are introduced to the kaiser gesang, in all things a legend narrated by the quincy over the span of centuries, supposedly written and represented artistically and passed down from generation to generation. not to be too insistent but yall, the presence of legends and myths is constitutional of an organic community. if the quincy have legends such as the kaiser gesang, it’s not far-fatched to believe they were not just people scattered on earth to annoy shinigami; more importantly, if the quincy, no matter their geographic origin, share common legends – imo that confirms a sense of national identity, despite maybe not belonging to the state yhwach was forming. it’s also safe to assume the kaiser gesang was not an isolated case.

From Wikipedia:
Another legend depicts how a man named Sugaru (nicknamed the God-catcher) was ordered to catch the Thunder God Raijin and deliver him to the Emperor in order to stop a storm. Sugaru commands Raijin to cease the storm in the name of the Emperor but to no avail. Sugaru prayed to Kannon who later delivered Raijin to him. Sugaru then tied him up in a sack and took him to the Emperor.
Now, the analogy is a little strained in terms of events, as with every invocation of mythos in Bleach, but I think the cast of characters is a little too convenient to ignore:
God-catcher Sugaru = Askin (God’s Taster)
Emperor = Yhwach (the Emperor)
Raijin = Yoruichi (Raijin Senkei)
Kannon = Kisuke (Kannonbiraki Benihime Aratame)
sack = Gift Ball
Kubo didn’t even have her lose to make a plot point, it was just to follow the outlines of some obscure myth.

using a human woman to help discern a hollow? oh, how the gotei 13 had fallen. yhwach was a careful god, he took in every variable to bring down the murderers all those years ago. some might find her presence in the vandenreich unnecessary and maybe it was. but yhwach wanted them to feel helpless in every aspect.
that's why peach was brought here. shadows utilized by arrancar to lure her in before bringing her before the emperor. though the young woman was free to move how she pleased, to use kido to restrict her movements implied there was a threat to even have. and to a god like him? nobody was a threat.
"thank you joining us, my dear." implying there was even a choice, he spoke smoothly and blunt.
"my name is yhwach, the emperor of the quincy and the enemy of the shinigami. would you consider switching sides?"

Ichigo couldn’t look at Yhwach’s face with out thinking about Old Man and the Quincy blood in his veins. “Destroying the Seireitei and the balance between the worlds won’t bring anyone dead back! What would even be left after all this!?”
rumbling laughter falls from the emperors lips, a hand covering his eyes. how ironic; the one who's true destiny to destroy the soul king for yhwach, screaming about what will be left.
Tumblr media
"the past is irrelevant when faced with the weight of the future. and here I thought that you'd see beyond the idea this is about revenge." mockery underlies his stoic tone, his cape flows behind him. the winds of change responding to his might. he moves closer to him, shoes tapping the porcelain ground. red eyes stare into ichigos soul.
Tumblr media
"Nothing will be left." his tone is cold and chilling. "a new world will be born from the ashes. one where there will no longer be a difference between the world's that soul society insists they control. freedom will finally be in your reach."

THE BIG BLEACH HC MEME centering around politics, repost & fill out! For anyone who wanted to explore those aspects more, considering it played a big role in the story. Some things may be unknown to your Muse, just think in WHAT IF then & well, have fun and take your time!
Tumblr media
BASICS
Name:   Lille Barro    / / /    Age:   1000+    / / /    Gender:   Cis male Race:   Shinigami / Quincy / Hollow / Fullbringer / Visored / Human / Other Currently lives:   Soul Society / Hueco Mundo / Silbern / Living World / Hell Exact Location:   His life was in the world of the living before the Wandenreich was founded, and then he barely left Silbern, as most of his brothers and sisters in arms who survived the first war. I still have to write a post-war verse, so I’m leaving it at that. Group(s): Quincy / Sternritter / Schutzstaffel
QUESTIONS
- Would your muse consider themselves more: GOOD / BAD / NEUTRAL ? - Would your muse consider their group more: GOOD / BAD / NEUTRAL ? - How does your muse think others see them: GOOD / EVIL / NEUTRAL ? - How does your muse think others see their race: GOOD / EVIL / NEUTRAL ? - How does your muse think others see their group: GOOD / EVIL / NEUTRAL ?
- Is your muse considered a threat: YES / NO ?  From whom?:  Apart from Jugram, he’s the one Sternritter who is closest to Yhwach, the leader of the emperor’s personal guard, one of the strongest quincies in general. I figure that if the Shinigami put bounties over their heads after the first war, Lille would be one of the richest prizes. - Is your muse powerful: YES / NO ?  Could they be considered OP:  YES / NO ? ( Lille’s abilities may appear somewhat plain and he still got defeated by the (assembled) Royal Guards, but he’s still stronger than most captains combined so I guess he qualifies as OP. ) - Did your muse commit any crimes: YES / NO ? - Does your muse think they are doing mostly the right thing: YES / NO ? - Would society think the same: YES / NO / MIXED OPINIONS ?  ( Soul Society probably wouldn’t lol, but to the Quincy community scattered over the world, what they’re doing offers a promise of revenge and liberation. Also they’re bringing forth a kingdom of heaven, so, Lille adamantly believes there should be no doubt as to the righteousness of their war. )
- Does your muse think they are treated unfairly: YES / NO ?  ( Individually, no.  But his kind has always been stomped upon, so it’s a bit of a yes, too. ) - Does your muse feel understood from others: YES / NO ?  ( The youngest quincies might not understand him at all. ) - Is it important for them what others think of them as a person: YES / NO ? - Would they welcome death:  YES / NO ? - Will they ever find peace:  YES / NO ?  ( Only by Yhwach’s side. After his death, Lille would be broken and restless. )
01.0.  Do they fully stand behind the group they are part of? YES / NO. Why is that? Explain: Lille did not believe in the wholeness and the consistence of the hope for a Quincy nation before he came to meet Yhwach. Not only because he was young, but also because his world was extremely small, narrowed down to his and a few more families that, together with some regularly human ones, made up his community. Meeting Yhwach, coming in contact with his people and bonding with them over their belonging to the same group, certainly broadened Lille’s horizons. The oppression and deaths they endured over the centuries only contributed to further solidify his belief that the Quincy will never be free as long as Shinigami exist and retain the power to shape the asset of the world(s). He believes in their common dream, and he loves his people fiercely.
02.0.  Do they like as things are in Soul Society? YES / NO / INDIFFERENT. 02.1.  Is there anything they would change? Explain here:   He perceives Soul Society as a paragon of evil, and although he’s not so well-navigated in the specifics of its politics, Lille knows it is rotten to the core. ‘Things’ in Soul Society cannot possibly go well as long as Shinigami have the power.
03.0. Would they ever actively try to bring change (in general)? YES / NO. 03.1. Is your muse more: passive / active ?  Introverted / Extroverted ?   ( He takes initiative, but it all ultimately boils down to Yhwach’s will. He obeys him. ) 03.2. Does your muse care more about: others / themselves ?  ( He cares about Yhwach and the Quincy more than anything else. ) 03.3. Do they trouble their mind over a lot of problems, others? YES / NO. 03.4. Do they mostly involve: the world / everyone / themselves / comrades / friends / family / elderly / kids / teenagers / home / workplace / strangers / souls / humans / quincy / shinigami / nobles / fullbringer / visored / hollows / espada / arrancar / (former) boss(es) / pets / animals / zanpakuto spirit / enemies / partner / lovers / soul king / god / other
(add more) 03.5. Name (up to) three which are the most on their mind (optional, adding names): Yhwach is makes up the gist of his entire world. He left everything he knew and did everything in his power to find him, Lille worships him to the point of fanatism; being allowed to serve Yhwach is the greatest honor, and consequently, what’s most on his mind revolves around Yhwach and serving him well.  He also takes the matters of the Quincy to heart, and despite not being very sociable, he’s also fond of his comrades - he shared a lot with them.
04.0. Do they think frequently about politics? YES / NO / SOMETIMES. Why is that? Explain:  Lille is a character with more religious and spiritual implications than political, but every Quincy character is, in a way or another, affected by politics. He’s no exception, but because he has a kind of black-and-white worldview, he can be somewhat naive in that regard.
05.0. How do they feel in their current location: POSITIVE / NEGATIVE / NEUTRAL ? 05.1. Why is that?:  Quincy originally belong to the broad spaces of the world of the living, and Lille undoubtedly misses them. That said, the hidden state of the Wandenreich prevented the total extermination of a good chunk of their people and protected them for centuries, it’s his home and he’s adapted to it pretty well. As a sniper, hiding in the shadows of the enemy and waiting to strike is pretty much his natural condition.
06.0. Does your muse have any goal: YES / NO ?  BIG / SMALL ?  ( His only goal is to see Yhwach’s design fulfilled. ) 06.1. Does it involve anything world-changing: YES / NO ?  06.2. If goal or not, any future plans? Share here:  Apart from the realization of Yhwach’s goal, his only ambition is to continue serving his king and the Quincy. I’m sure Lille would deny himself the possibility to fall in love and build a family, as it would be a distraction from a lifetime long vocation.
07.0. Does your muse know about the Original Sin of Soul Society*: YES / NO ? * curious? Read about it here. 07.1. If they knew, would it change their views on Soul Society: YES / NO ? -  07.2. More: POSITIVE / NEGATIVE / NEUTRAL ?  ( The Original Sin is at the base of Lille’s extremely negative opinion of Soul Society, actually, so his views would not shift much. )
08.0. Who is the worst person in their eyes?:  Genryusai Yamamoto 08.1. What should happen to them?  Execution (quick / slow death) / Imprisonment / Stripped of their powers / Torture / Repay for their sins / Pay a Fine / Social Work / lose their loved ones / Exile / other
(add more). 08.2. Explanation:  He remembers Yamamoto’s flames vividly. He remembers the smell of burnt flesh of his comrades, the screams, and how the man (who was truly nothing more than a murderer who donned an aura of respectability) took their God and king away from them. The right to kill the man belongs to Yhwach, but Lille would have very much liked to put a gaping hole in his head.
09.0. Thoughts on: Quincy Massacre if they knew: POSITIVE / NEGATIVE / NEUTRAL ? 09.1. Would they be alright with such thing happening again: YES / NO / INDIFFERENT ? 09.2. Would they try to prevent it: YES / NO / DEPENDS ? 09.3. Explanation:  The Quincy are his people, lbr no Quincy would be alright with what was done to them. Lille is a very proud individual, and he could never cope with the shock, the shame, the humiliation and the pain of seeing his people, people like him that weren’t lucky enough to be protected by the Schatten Bereich, be systematically exterminated and experimented on. Just thinking about it makes him furious.
10.0. Would they ever switch sides: YES / NO ? 10.1. If yes, What could bring them to do so?:    - 10.2. Would they create a new one: YES / NO ?  or join a current one? If so, which:  Lille is a loner, truly like a sniper. He would never betray Yhwach, but post-war, I cannot see him actively searching for other surviving quincies to start a new community; he cherishes his solitude, and especially after the war, I think he’d be much more withdrawn in the attempt to cope with the defeat.
11.0. Does your muse follow a certain moral code*?:  YES / NO / GRAY AREA ? * (ethics) A written, formal, and consistent set of rules prescribing righteous behavior, accepted by a person or by a group of people. 11.1. What does it involve?:  He’d do anything Yhwach asked of him, but as a general rule, he leaves children and civilians out of things.  11.2. What does it NOT involve?:  He doesn’t ‘fight fair’, he fights and kills mercilessly.
YOUR MUSE’S VIEWS / OPINIONS ON THESE GROUPS ?
Central 46:   positive / negative / neutral.   ━   because: they’re just old men desperately clinging to power.
Four Great Noble Clans:   positive / negative / neutral.   ━   because: he knows what their ancestors did to the Soul King, the Quincy’s ancestor. It feels like the first of a long series of slights done to their people.
Royal Guards / Gotei 13:   positive / negative / neutral .   ━   because: they are the violent core of Soul Society; an array of deceitful, paternalistic and oppressive individual who hide behind the excuse of ‘balance’ to reinforce their supremacy.
Fullbringer:   positive / negative / neutral.   ━   because:  he never came in contact with any of them, though through rp his opinion might shift.
Visored:   positive / negative / neutral.   ━   because:  they’re Shinigami, and they’re Hollows. Also, the fact that despite what was done to them, they accepted to go back to Soul Society and now fight within the ranks of the Gotei? Huh.
Espada:   positive / negative / neutral.   ━   because:  they’re Hollows, it doesn’t matter how human or civilized they might look. There’s always that ugly shudder crawling up his spine that makes Lille immediately pull the trigger.
Quincy:   positive / negative / neutral.   ━   because:  again, they’re his people. He believe their war to be a righteous one and he’s protective of them. I’m not sure how important the concept of ‘Quincy pride’ is to Lille, because he’s already a proud individual and his pride stems largely from his bond with Yhwach, rather than from the simple belonging to the Quincy as a community. Lille doesnt’ even contribute much to their communal life anyway, so haha. Still, pride aside, he loves the Quincy, and that love made the slights against them brew a deep, burdening ire within him that carried on through the centuries.
YOUR MUSE’S VIEWS / OPINIONS ON THESE (IMPORTANT) PEOPLE ?
Aizen:   positive / negative / neutral.   ━   because:  he’s a traitor of his kind, and even had the presumption to call himself ‘a god’. There’s no greater heresy.
Yhwach:   positive / negative / neutral.   ━   because:  not to get redundant but Yhwach is the God he worships, fights for, waited for. He crossed land and water just because, one night, he heard Yhwach’s voice calling him. He found his people and was given a purpose thanks to Yhwach, he fought in a war without hope for Yhwach. He waited almost 1000 years, patiently, for Yhwach to awaken and regain his senses. It’s difficult to express with words the link that ties the divinity and the devotee; i think it’s trust, wonder, faith and love.
Mayuri:   positive / negative / neutral.   ━   because:  the idea that such a cruel, disgusting criminal still walks freely in the Soul Society as a high-ranked officer viscerally upsets Lille. He would kill him without even wanting to see that face of his.
Kurosaki:   positive / negative / neutral.   ━   because:  a Gemischt Quincy, brainwashed and exploited by Soul Society sounds like a terribly sad story. I think that, while not knowing him and acknowledging the threat Ichigo poses, Lille pities him.
Soul King:   positive / negative / neutral.   ━   because:  he respects the Soul King for what he has been and for constituting the primordial archetype of the Quincy people, but he sides with Yhwach in wanting to end the agony and the unacceptable disrespect paid to that poor creature.
EXTRA(optional): add more characters which hold some meaning to your muse.
Gerard: they are the oldest members of the Schutzstaffel (and Pernida doesn’t really count), the way they interact makes me think that there’s a familiarity between them you don’t see elsewhere. I think they’ve been together through a lot, having fought together and shared the same expectant devotion. They’re definitely brothers in arms and good friends.
CONGRATS, you managed till to the end, now tag your fellow bleach partners!

When All Is Known (Nothing Is) Part 8
Prequel | Prequel | Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4 | Part 5 | Part 6 | Part 7 | Part 8
((Bringing this one to a close! Whoo! Yeah there’s probably more story somewhere in here if I want to cover them adapting to the past, but for now it’s done~))
The large doors swung silently open when Uryuu pushed, and he led the way into the private chamber of the monster who haunted his dreams.
A cold breeze ruffled Uryuu’s hair. The bare, open air room stretched before him, grand in its simplicity. Marred only by the ornate throne in the center.
(He remembered this. Remembered kneeling before a throne. Remembered cold wind through his hair and a colder voice in his ear.)
(Remembered honeyed words of overcoming his unfortunate taint.)
(Remembered the white-hot pain of being branded.)
Uryuu gave himself a mental shake. Dragged his attention back to the present.
Yhwach sat slumped over in his throne, the sleeping emperor of a hidden kingdom. A sleeping emperor never again to awaken, and a hidden kingdom about to topple to the ground.
“Ichigo,” Uryuu prompted, standing before Yhwach and staring down at the man. He could feel Yhwach’s strength. The strength that birthed an entire people and then drove them into ruin.
(He’d wondered, once upon a time, what the legendary progenitor of Quincy was like. If the man would despair at how his lineage had declined and faded into myth.)
(Only to find the legend was wrong and the Quincy were better off as myths and the boogie-men hiding in the dark.)
Bazz stepped closer and glared down at Yhwach, hands clenched into fists and his shoulders stiff. “We just going to stare at him?” he spat, giving Uryuu a sidelong look, “Or are we going to end this?”
“Yeah, we’re ending it.” Ichigo brushed past both of them and moved to the side of the throne that Yhwach was slumped against. He brought his hands up to grip Yhwach’s shoulders and then flexed his fingers.
Yhwach didn’t twitch or gasp or try to free himself. His body just slumped further, skin turning grey and breathing stuttering. The power that saturated the air wavered. Twisted. /Vanished/.
Uryuu swayed as something in his soul /snapped/ and a flood of power raced through his body. Bazz caught him as his knees gave out and his body began to ache like a limb slowly awakening from sleep. He pressed a hand to his chest and struggled to regain control, a bitter laugh escaping before he could tamp it down.
“The fuck’s the matter with you? Overcome with victory?” Bazz asked warily.
He could /feel/ Bazz. Feel the man’s power, the schrift granted to him so very long ago. Could feel the few Quincy who remained in Silbern, devoted followers of a god who no longer lived. He knew. He /knew/. He knew them all—
Uryuu met Ichigo’s worried gaze and /laughed/, bitter and furious and resigned all at once.
Ichigo yanked his claws free of Yhwach’s shoulders and wiped them clean on the man’s shirt. He darted to Uryuu’s side and pulled him close, supporting Uryuu’s weight and wrapping him in a tight hug. Crooned low and deep and calming.
“Even in death he manages to win,” Uryuu spat, hands clenching in Ichigo’s shirt. “/I will never be free of him!/”
One of Ichigo’s hands gripped the back of his neck and pulled him closer. “Then be the Antithesis he named you,” Ichigo said darkly. “Unmake what he has made. Raze his empire to the ground till only rumors remain. /End the Quincy/.”
“Hey, quick question, what the /fuck?/” Bazz demanded.
Aizen’s soft laughter announced his arrival. “Uryuu-kun is our dearly departed Emperor’s heir,” he announced flippantly. “So, how does regicide feel?”
“At once glorious and a goddamn /pain/,” Uryuu snarled, freeing a hand enough to flip Aizen off. “I didn’t think it would stick!”
“Declarations like that do have weight,” Aizen reminded him. “Especially when accompanied by a mark upon your soul.”
“Oh fuck off.” Uryuu gathered himself and pulled away from Ichigo, readjusting his glasses and glaring at Aizen. “Had your fun, then?”
“Hardly. And then I ran out of insects to play with.”
“You’re a riot,” Uryuu told Aizen dryly. “I’m not fighting you. /We’re/ not fighting you.”
Aizen sighed and spread his hands, a sad expression on his face and mischief in his eyes. “I suppose I will simply wither away in boredom. Forever doomed to remain alone—”
Ichigo huffed in amusement. “Like we believe you’re not going to immediately head back to Seireitei to dick with your past self and Seireitei in general.”
“Well! If I have your blessing—”
“Just
/try/ not to create any new world-ending plots, please?” Ichigo asked. “Give it a few years, at least.”
Aizen smirked at them and Uryuu /knew/ what he was about to say next. So instead he cut the man off before he could even speak. “No. I am /not/ fighting you just because you’re bored. I am not fighting you on threat of another world-ending plot. In fact, I will /end you/ if you even /dare/—”
“My, my, Uryuu-kun sure gets violent these days,” Aizen remarked airly.
“/I’ll show you violent, you goddamn butterfly—/”
Ichigo clamped a hand over Uryuu’s mouth and held him close despite Uryuu’s struggles. “Aaaand that’s enough,” he said in exasperation. “Show’s over. Bazz, Uryuu and I are going back to the Living World. Aizen’s going to go be a dick to the Shinigami and especially to his past self, because that’s who he is as a person. Up to you what you want to do, but I’d recommend not staying here.”
Bazz shot a pleased look at Yhwach’s slowly disintegrating body then glanced between the three of them. “Eh, fuck if I know. Guess I’ll check out what the Living World has to offer first.”
Uryuu yanked Ichigo’s hand away from his mouth and said, “A suspicious ex-Shinigami shopkeeper, enough technology to get lost in for years, and /no Aizen/.”
“It’s almost like—”
“/It is/,” Uryuu interrupted Aizen with a glower. “Go being annoying somewhere else.”
Aizen laughed and raised his hands in surrender. “Ah, I see how poorly I’m regarded here. But do remember, when you get bored—”
“Which I won’t!”
“—just let me know, and I will absolutely be available for a spar.”
“In your goddamn dreams, asshole,” Uryuu muttered grumpily.
“And what dreams they—”
“Nope. No. We’re not going there,” Ichigo cut in, tone sharp with annoyance. “Aizen, kindly shut up. Uryuu, kindly stop rising to his bait. Bazz, please tell me you’re at least /vaguely/ sane.”
Bazz snorted and shook his head. “Sorry, no can do.”
Ichigo groaned and clearly gave up. His arm wrapped around Uryuu’s waist and he started stalking out of the room whilst dragging Uryuu with him. “I give up. Let’s go back to the Living World.”
He shrugged and let Ichigo drag him away, flipping Aizen off over his shoulder one last time. Everything was over at last and the future finally looked bright again. Yhwach was dead, the Wandenreich were dead or scattered, Silbern would collapse without maintenance, and he’d never need to worry about the end of the world again.
The weight of the Quincy lineage rested heavily across his shoulders, but that too could be mitigated. He’d do as Ichigo suggested. Tear them all down. Rip out the foundations and salt the earth.
The Quincy would end with himself and his past self.
At that was all that mattered.

The (Stolen) Final, Tense, Climactic War Arc
This post is a compilation of stolen material, material from the Alvarez Empire arc of Hiro Mashima’s Fairy Tail that is lifted directly from Tite Kubo’s Bleach.
Please note that this is not the only time material has been stolen from Bleach, nor is it the only series Mashima has stolen from. It is merely a compilation of it happening in this specific arc, with this specific series. It’s quite clear that Mashima tried to copy Tite Kubo’s own final arc, in which the Vandenreich invade the Soul Society. With this list in mind, I condemn anyone who has ever blindly told me that Hiro Mashima works hard on Fairy Tail--work hard, my ass. He plagiarizes.
Stolen ideas from the Thousand Year Blood War arc and other parts of Bleach:
The premise. The final arc of each series consists of another civilization’s emperor deciding to attack the main location and the heroes, starting off with a truly overwhelming, overkill number of soldiers.
The Sternritter. An elite group of incredibly, monstrously powerful elite soldiers and bodyguards to the emperor. Their Fairy Tail incarnations are the Spriggan Twelve, Zeref’s twelve bodyguards.
Bloodman of the Spriggan Twelve is a ripoff not of any Sternritter, but of the Segunda Espada from one of the earlier arcs, Barragan Louisenbairn. He’s a large, hulking demonic figure with a god complex and a fatalism idealogy, declaring himself the God of Death and possessing powers that make him nearly impervious to damage and able to win battles by decaying enemies to death with his mere presence alone, and both make their final move attempting to take their enemy down with them. Now, which one was I just talking about, Bloodman, or Barragan Louisenbairn?
The ultimate goal of the main antagonist. Yhwach desires to smash all of the worlds together and negate the laws of space, time, and death to create a world where death does not exist. Zeref’s ultimate goal, though only revealed at the end, was essentially the recreate the world through time magic. Yhwach should also be noted as being able to control the future itself.
A quiet, serious, analytical subordinate with long white hair and high amounts of respect for his tyrannical superior. Invel Yura is the Fairy Tail version of Jugram Haschwalth.
In the fight with Gremmy Thorneaux, a villain that can bring anything in his imagination to life, Kenpachi Zaraki cuts down the meteor Gremmy materializes in one swing. This is later blatantly ripped off with Erza destroying the meteor summoned by Irene’s Sema spell--while all of her bones have been smashed.
Wall Eehto and his ability, Weakness (basically pulling giantass superweapons out of his ass) are blatant ripoffs of BG9, another mechanical being with the same power that fought Soi Fon.
While it’s difficult to call the Historias of the Dead ripoffs of just Bleach alone, since “making you fight previous enemies” is one of the most unoriginal powers ever, it’s essentially a ripoff of Gremmy Thomeaux’s ability to create complex villains out of thin air....but even less original.
God Serena’s power isn’t a ripoff, but you can’t tell me that whole “fountain of dragons” he produces wasn’t suspiciously evocative of Hado 99: Gonryotenmetsu, used by Aizen.
Jacob Lessio’s invisibility + teleportation are ripped straight from Guenael Lee, the substitute Sternritter created by Gremmy Thomeaux with the designation V, “The Vanishing Point”.
There are also other things that I feel are suspect, such as the fact that Zeref claims to care for those of Alvarez like his own children, yet coldly and callously kills them off. This was a notable trait of Yhwach who, thinking himself God and having literally named himself YHVH, and having a portion of his own soul inside virtually everyone around him, considered the Quincies his own children....which they sort of were, considering he was their progenitor. He also kills them off if they disobey, and doesn’t really seem to care whether they win or lose their battles. This is because, having that bit of his soul in them, he can just recall that piece of soul and drain the Sternritter of their power if they lose, adding it to his own. Since the piece of soul strengthens over the time it’s bound to the Quincy, it comes back stronger when recalled. Whether the Quincies succeed in eliminating their enemies or fail, there is direct benefit to Yhwach.
Zeref’s behavior mimics this almost down to a tee. Except....he doesn’t have all of this going on for him. Yhwach can afford not to care about the wins or losses of his troops for reasons just explained, but Zeref appears to put absolutely no effort into winning a war that he started, nor any effort into strategizing or minimizing his losses. You could argue that the real goal was Fairy Heart, and that since he could siphon power from it like Yhwach could with Auschwahlen whether his Spriggans won or lost, it still doesn’t justify the fact that he has no preservational attitude towards his own side at all; his losses are still losses. Especially when he offs them himself--and proceeds to take out someone he described as a valuable weapon against Acnologia because he was irritated with him.
Zeref’s behavior appears to be Mashima trying to mimic the final arc villain that Kubo wrote, but absolutely sucking at it since he could only get away with ripping off so much without being sued. Doesn’t really matter either way, since there’s easily enough to take him to court here as it is. Not that that’ll ever happen.........
Fuck this “author”.

The (Stolen) Final, Tense, Climatic War arc: Rebuttal
Okay so a blogger by the name of Fairytail-whathesays has recently put out what I believe one of the most head scratching things I’ve read. Now I’ve known about this blogger and while I believe everyone is entiltled to their own opinion, I will say that his claims of Hiro Mashima ripping off Tite Kubo’s Bleach Thousand year blood war arc I find has many holes. And while I am unable to actually make a comment on said post and confront him directly thanks to being blocked by him, I will say this because someone linked this to me and I am here to say, you mr. whathesays are reaching!
I’m going to tackle each and every point he brings up:
“The premise. The final arc of each series consists of another civilization’s emperor deciding to attack the main location and the heroes, starting off with a truly overwhelming, overkill number of soldiers”
Umm okay
That’s not really ripping off anything. The fight between the soldiers of the Quincy and the random shinigami is played like an actual war with devastating results of their home being destroyed and many established characters caught up in the wave of attack. There really isn’t a moment like that in FT except for up in the north, but that was not only later in the arc, but also we only got lip service of bargo being defeated by God Serena, August, and Jacob. But its neither played up like how Bleach did it with an actual war and the Alvarez first wave was defeated by the DS and Erza.
It’s also a war arc, unless the heroes are going to declare war it really is going to follow a similar beat, but this isn’t like with Naruto where we have characters fighting in battlefield separate from the main location. I don’t really know what to tell you, but bad guy individual the central home of the hero is not a new concept.
“The Sternritter. An elite group of incredibly, monstrously powerful elite soldiers and bodyguards to the emperor. Their Fairy Tail incarnations are the Spriggan Twelve, Zeref’s twelve bodyguards. “
Ummm again how is this a rip off. First of all if you are an emperor you’re going to have a select group of soldiers or bodyguards. Second, well if the leader of an organization having a group of baddies directly working for him the last arc counts as a rip off, then bleach ripped off Rurouni Kenshin, because Yukishiro Enshin had the six comrades. This isn’t an uncommon practice for arcs to have one big villain and then a bunch of smaller characters loyal to them. If you just mean that they both happen to be emperors and these are their guards, it really doesn’t make that much a difference when both series feature the technique of villain groups.
Maybe if all of the spriggans had a letter motif, then sure. But they’re isn’t even the same number of them. You’re condemming an author, for using tropes. No one author owns a trope
“Bloodman of the Spriggan Twelve is a ripoff not of any Sternritter, but of the Segunda Espada from one of the earlier arcs, Barragan Louisenbairn. Now, which one was I just talking about, Bloodman, or Barragan Louisenbairn?”
Okay but this doesn’t exactly help your argument about the final arc being ripped off. Also where do you see Bloodman having Fatalism in personality? He’s a generic FT svillain who wants to fight and kill with the only thing different being how he talks. Barragan at least has a character and you’re more pinning this rip-off on their similar power, but Barragan’s is all about decay, but Bloodman, uses only the anti-magic barrier particles and with alright steal life, but then you have to remember that he stops using this power in favor of the other curse, but Barragan just uses respira
“The ultimate goal of the main antagonist. Yhwach desires to smash all of the worlds together and negate the laws of space, time, and death to create a world where death does not exist. Zeref’s ultimate goal, though only revealed at the end, was essentially the recreate the world through time magic. Yhwach should also be noted as being able to control the future itself. “
Again you are reaching, you just pointed out how their goals are different. Now if you want to say “both involve a plan that involves altering the world just for their own desire” then Kubo ripped off Kishimoto who did something like that, in his war arc in Naruto. This like this might have the same premise, but both Yhwach and Zeref’s goals are different. Taking in what makes characters different such as motivation is how we change something from a rip off. If we go from a blanket idea and call that rip off, then everyone is ripping things off. Yhwach was not the first villain in manga to want to alter to universe in someway.
“A quiet, serious, analytical subordinate with long white hair and high amounts of respect for his tyrannical superior. Invel Yura is the Fairy Tail version of Jugram Haschwalth. “
This might be a little pointless, but Jugram’s hair is blond not white. Also this is again a trope. The serous analytical mind in a villain group is not something new. If you mean the timing I suppose you have something there, but it’s a trope. Like Invel and Jugram are just like Van Auguer from One Piece. The character who is critical minded is not something new.
But I’m sure you mean in terms of timing, both appearing in the last arc, but Bleach already had Ulquiora in this role, so really Kubo just recycled a character’s base personality that head used.
“In the fight with Gremmy Thorneaux, a villain that can bring anything in his imagination to life, Kenpachi Zaraki cuts down the meteor Gremmy materializes in one swing. This is later blatantly ripped off with Erza destroying the meteor summoned by Irene’s Sema spell–while all of her bones have been smashed. “
Okay see this I understand as being a rip off, both the situation and the method for cutting down the meteor are the same, but I would like to bring up that Naruto had Madara send a meteor down in his war arc, but it wasn’t stopped by a sword swing. So if we are going to play the concept-ripoff game then that seems oddly suspicious
“Wall Eehto and his ability, Weakness (basically pulling giantass superweapons out of his ass) are blatant ripoffs of BG9, another mechanical being with the same power that fought Soi Fon.”
Okay I will give you this one as well, because like the Jugram-invel thing, the timing of a mechanical character that appears in the final arc in series that have never had robot like being in it as a plot point before. But I will not that the Mechina race was named dropped by Jenny in the GMG, while BG9 is stright out of nowhere.
“While it’s difficult to call the Historias of the Dead ripoffs of just Bleach alone, since “making you fight previous enemies” is one of the most unoriginal powers ever, it’s essentially a ripoff of Gremmy Thomeaux’s ability to create complex villains out of thin air
.but even less original. “
YOU JUST POINTED OUT THAT NEINHART’S ABILITY ISN’T SOMETHING WE HAVEN’t SEEN! Oh Bleach is not the first story that has a cast made up of shinigami and who look over the world and protect it from demon like figures, maybe read Yu Yu Hakusho, a series many have claimed Kubo has ripped off.
Second of all the power of imagination that Gremmy uses is different from Neinharts. Neinhart actually is creating people who existed, but Gremmy can make new life from his imagination, actually FT had a character who could do that, he was called Rustyrose!
God Serena’s power isn’t a ripoff, but you can’t tell me that whole “fountain of dragons” he produces wasn’t suspiciously evocative of Hado 99: Gonryotenmetsu, used by Aizen.
Okay. It’s not. Aizen’s Hado only had one dragon, while Serena had 8. If you mean the design then both are ripping off DB’s Shenron who also looks similar. The only difference aside the number is Seren’s look more detailed and existed more for aesthetic while the Hado was suppose to be an actual attack.
Jacob Lessio’s invisibility + teleportation are ripped straight from Guenael Lee, the substitute Sternritter created by Gremmy Thomeaux with the designation V, “The Vanishing Point”.
So wait it’s a rip off if people have the same powers? Then I guess Natsu is a rip off of Yamamoto because they both use fire. Hell, you do better saying Jacob Absolum from One Piece because he makes weapons invisible and makes women’s clothes disappear.
Look Whathesays, I am not going to tell you that Mashima is a “bastion of creativity”, no he’s not. But I find it very dubious to call it a rip off when a lot of your examples focus more on tropes, and the whole point of multiple people doing similar story methods is to see how they execute it and what they bring to it. You can think Kubo does it better than Hiro, I’m not saying you can’t. But I for one, find a lot of this criticism lacking.
If you want to hate Hiro, go ahead, but if you’re going to make claims like these, then they are going to be challenged.

What even were the reasons behind some directives and declarations that had been all but unbeknownst to those that were not privy to the assignment's very core? Some of the closer associates, some advisors had argued that those to be eradicated in a few hours at most were still of pure origin, of a means to be useful, that they should be spared, if only usefulness had not been discarded by the mere wave of the Emperor's hand. There was, afterwards, no apparent attempt anymore to sway a decision made.
And such there was also no time wasted when she spoke, when she replied. ' I'm ready, I think. ' - all enough for him to raise a hand. To allow the pitch-black pool of pulsing and distorting shadows forming in his palm to paint the ground in a portal of effortless grandeur.
He had gotten the coordinates for where to go. Had received from their Majesty the place to bring them both, knowing well enough that a select few comrades would arrive later. Watching and waiting to ground out dust whatever would [ could? ] remain. But the main show? The desirable attraction? All for her. " Did you have time to think about what you want to do? " Stepping through the portal just when he asked, would the Grandmaster wait for Giselle to 'lead the way'. He spoke in that barely perceptible, softened whisper that was nought else but an attempt to ground her in their particular reality. Jugram was not meant to engage [ but would he not if need be? ], he was meant to be there for her.

" I will report later on what you decide. Whatever you desire, I will be alright with. " How much does he truly know about it all? How much had Yhwach told him, had their God bestowed upon him in particular knowledge? Enough? Or not [ would it matter? ]? " Do you want me to cage them in place? Or do you want to have them run for a hunt? " || @zombiigrl

It had been coming, for some time.  In her heart, and in her soul, she had felt it so. Times where she should not have hesitated, she’d freeze, stop, her emotions welling fast and strong like the tsunami oncoming. Her limbs would shake, and the tears would  come quick. THERE WAS, IN TRUTH, SO MUCH TIED TO HER LIFE BACK HOME. A life she wished was not so.
Tumblr media
It was both of some surprise, and none at all when the order came. Return home. Destroy what you must to find peace.  At first, she knew not what to say. Express gratitude? Fight against those orders, knowing her family to be pure, to be of use to the Quincy still? USEFUL, OF COURSE, BUT  CRUEL.
She sat at her bed, feet kicking idly as she lost herself to the oncoming madness of thought, fingers sliding through dark hair as palms covered her ears, to drown her very voice out.  Attention is caught only when room door slowly opens, and  she slides from her seat, upright and attentive as the Grandmaster enters. He speaks on her assignment, and throat grows tight,  Giselle knowing in her heart that destruction of her home would leave something vile behind. A scar that would take some time  to heal.
Odd, though ; she’d always dreamed of it.  Burning her ancestral home to the ground, sending her family scrambling and begging for her mercy at their knees. LITTLE DID SHE  KNOW, THE TRUTH OF THIS ASSIGNMENT.
❝ O .. Of course, Herr Grandmaster. I’m ready, I think.  ❞

"consider me pleased that you're willing to cooperate." that's one way of putting it. the subjugation of hueco mundo was a fated course of action, and like anyone else, they'd rather go out fighting. rarely, a chosen few would rise above their lowly lives and feel blessed by the quincy way.
she too, can be something special.
"tell me; what do you fight for?"

❛ i am so much more than you told me i was ❜ for yhwach.

"that you are, ichigo." and the quincy king couldn't be more proud. the prodigal sons potential far exceeded expectations, even in his dreams. wispy black tendrils of energy cover the sides of the area around them. a suffocating veil of darkness that threatens to suffocate any ounce of light that dares peek through His Majestys domain.
"and all you are, has made this moment possible. everything has been building to see you achieve your true destiny. it's invigorating, isnt it? to finally know the truth of what you truly are. the secrets theyve hidden from you have all come to light, hasnt it? this is a joyous occassion, you should celebrate. the end of everything is about to come to pass, after all." a wide grin is spread on the face on yhwachs countenance, almost feral while he speaks. a deep laugh rumbles out of his throat, extending a hand out to ichigo in a mocking semblance of passiveness.

"thank you, my son. now, help me once more in finishing what we started."
