It’s funny how I grew up watching anime, but I never knew it until I became older and realized what anime was. With everything shown on TV being dubbed in English (or other languages, like German, which was the case for me because I watched German TV lol), as a child you never knew the difference. Like, it’s in this language, so it has to come from this country, right? 

And now that I’m an adult, even now I sometimes see something pop up (like just now with Captain Tsubasa) and I’m like “Oh! That was an anime too!”. I don’t know, it’s just weird. But I can’t be the only one feeling like that. Right? xD

I’m actually a very organized person. I like to have my stuff exactly how and where I’ve put it and everything, all nice and neat, easy to find. But, man, have I given up on tagging things on tumblr. :’D

Welp, deviantart is spazzing out, great. I logged out only because I needed to check on another account of mine and NOW I CAN’T LOG IN AT ALL. Ugh this is so annoying. =.= I actually had important things to deal with there. >.>

On this day, July 4th, one year ago, my best friend’s mom passed away. She was an incredible woman and loved by many, she always had that beautiful positive aura around her. And she’s missed dearly.

In about a week, said best friend is expected to give birth to her first child. And it doesn’t get much more exciting than that.  

So, really, this is a very bittersweet period. I can’t help but to feel sad, but also so, so happy for my best friend. I wish only the best things for her because oh she deserves all of it.

Tumblr is messed up, so if you’re searching the tag (esp mobile) if the ship name is anywhere in the post it shows up in the tag :/ Like, I don’t ship either one (when TT was on the air I got bullied for liking CyRae so now I don’t ship Rae at all), and this stuff still kind of makes me feel unwelcome in TT fandom years later! I’ve noticed it go up since BB/Rae went canon in TTG, like those shippers will brag or even put down others bc its canon and therefore “better”?

Aww CyRae is actually cute! ;D I’ll be honest, I never shipped CyRae, but I’ve seen some really cute fanart and fanfics that could’ve made sense for that ship to exist, so I don’t have anything against it. I don’t have anything against any pairing, really, I just have my own favorites.

But yes, you can’t really block out one or the other on tumblr, that’s probably also part of the problem. And TTGO! is an abomination, I hate that people use THAT, of all things, as a basis of their argument that BBRae is canon. No. The show is a joke.

Because bbrae shippers are annoying and noisy and ruin the fun for robrae shippers? It’s especially annoying since robrae is a dying rarepair; you’re pretty much guaranteed to see more hate than love. That’s probably why ship wars happen.

Yeah, I agree, RobRae is very rare and it’s probably something that’s never gonna be brought to life, but I mean.. It’s just sad to see people fighting over one or the other pairing. It’s like when you really love strawberry milk and decide going after someone who likes chocolate milk more just to get a reaction out of them - it’s just as stupid. 

And just because “you’re pretty much guaranteed to see more hate than love” doesn’t mean you have to contribute to that hate. Spread love, not hate! ^_^

Because some people do not know how tagging works and/or don’t care and purposely do it to seek out drama. Some fans stalk blogs that they know ships their NOTP and hijack posts just for the sake of bullying someone. I ship both but prefer BBRae. I can attest there’s been way more aggressive behaviour from a CERTAIN group of Rob/Rae shippers that are basically ruining it for everyone. The moral of the story is; ship what you want. Hate what you want. Just don’t TAG IT.

Ah yes, definitely. There’s that group of people who intentionally seek drama and attention. Like, they feed off of negative reactions. Those kind of people just make me go blegh.

And yeah, exactly - tags. TAGS. THEY’RE THERE FOR A REASON. I agree 100%. Don’t tag it and don’t go after the people you KNOW are against your ideas and opinions. It ruins the fun for everyone, yourself included.

The #1 reason why I’m away from tumblr so much: spoilers.

It may seem hard at first, but if you step over your pride, your hurt and your stubbornness and give that one person yet another chance once they've proven themselves worthy of it, you'll feel better about yourself.

I know I’m a very stubborn person. And I don’t forgive and forget easily. Especially if the person has hurt me more than once, even more than twice. But if you keep holding onto these feelings of betrayal, hurt and anger, it will eat you up inside. The longer you hold onto it, the harder it gets for you. Sure, we all need time to heal. But it doesn’t mean it has to last forever. So you have to learn to let go of it. Forgive the person, even if you think that they don’t deserve it at the time. Free yourself from the hurt and hatred. And if you see that the other person is truly, genuinely trying to better themselves, don’t disregard it. Don’t turn your back fully and completely. Of course, you don’t have to do anything against your will. You don’t have to help them any more than you have already. You don’t have to talk to them like they’re your bestie. Just don’t face in the other direction. Give them the chance to have a civilized relationship with you if that’s all they want. You don’t have to love them. You don’t even have to like them. But you can be generally nice to one another. There is no harm in being a decent human being. And if you do that, trust me, you’ll feel much better about yourself. I know that many of you will think that things are easier said than done. And they are. It is so hard to forgive the hurt that someone has brought to you. It is so hard to forget the times you cried yourself to sleep because of them. But think about it. Who gets more hurt if you hold grudges against someone? Who does it affect? You? Or them? Now, when you have the answer to these questions, you’ll genuinely understand why it’s important for your own sake to give the person the chance they may or may not deserve. Sometimes being given a chance is the best kind of encouragement for a person to move on with their life in the best way possible. So, again, think about it. Don’t fill yourself up with hatred. Find that little spark of love in you and light it up.
