Trixie

Trixie is a bold and free-spirited girl’s name of Latin origin. It could be originated from the Latin word Beatus, meaning ‘bringer of joy’, or ‘she who brings happiness’. Trixie could also be derived from the Latin word viator, meaning ‘voyager’, or ‘traveler.’

The name Trixie is often used as a nickname for Patricia. Hence the name is associated with Saint Patricia of Naples and might have been a descendant of Constantine the Great or related to the Roman Emperor.

Trixie can have several variants, including Trixi and Trixy. Trix can make a cute nickname for Trixie. The name has left a mark on popular culture. Trixie was given to several memorable fictional characters. Thelma “Trixie” Norton is a notable character in the television sitcom The Honeymooners. She is Ed’s wife and the best friend of Alice. She is depicted as an ordinary housewife and was portrayed by Joyce Randolph. Trixie is a blue plastic Triceratops in Toy Story 3 and served as the main character in Toy Story That Time Forgot and is one of the toys owned by Bonnie.

Siofra

Siofra is an intriguing Irish female name that denotes an ‘elf’ or ‘fairy.’ The name is also used to refer to a sprite or any supernatural entity. Siofra has only been in use since the 18th century, making it a unique and new name.

In Germanic mythology and folklore, the Elf is a particular category of human-like magical creature. The Icelandic Poetic Edda and Snorri Sturluson’s Prose Edda both make reference to elves, which are particularly prevalent in North Germanic mythology. She is wearing a teal and black cinderella dress with pearly lace and diamonds on it.Her long dangling earrings are pearl and gold. She had a pearl and gold tiara type crown. She has long redish hair put up in a bun in the back. Hello hello!

Here is COMBLES, a set focusing on slanted walls, ideal for converted attics or just last floor of old buildings! It wasn't made on purpose but I think this set will be perfect to give a new look at your attics to rent them with the new expension pack coming !

It has been a little challenge to make everything look nice and easy to use. As the game lighting has its own rules, I've made my best to make pannelings, shelves and slanted walls match together! For technical purposes, the shelves are separated from their wall-part, but everything snaps to the wall so you will be able to combine them easily !

I've added a few plaster walls and beams to add an extra rustic feeling, and the plaster colours match Woodland Ranch's plaster so you'll be able to mix and match with the previous sets too!

I really can't wait to see what you will be able to create with those new pieces, I'm so excited about it!

The Klean Collection - Part 4

This month I focused on creating the Klean Home Office. I focused my attention on what a designer's home office would look like/contain. I have wanted to make shelving like this for quite some time & was excited to try out Sims 4 Studio to angle the slots, unfortunately many painful hours later after trying to troubleshoot why exactly the rotation didn't work in game, I managed to come up with a workaround, so that you can still snap flat books and deco items onto the slanted shelves at the correct angle. For some peculiar reason the rotated slots would not work unless I locked their orientation. As a result once an item snap into one of these slots it will stay at the 45 degree angle even when you snap it to a regular slot. If I did this for all the slots to work it would end up being very difficult for you to effectively clutter all the other shelves as all your items would snap to these angled slots instead. So I've created only 3 of these slots on each shelf to help you to orientate your deco items to the correct angle. They are located in the middle and either end of the the shelf, so you should be able to avoid them while decorating the regular slots on the other shelves. I think this issue is down to EA changing the slotting information in the game as it a very simple process to rotate these slots and both programmes I used to do so ended with the same result. Fingers crossed this is changed in the future so I don't have to irritate myself and you all with such a workaround and they just work how they are supposed to!
