OOC: Here’s that thing about Ryo I hinted at earlier when that Anon compared me to Ajora. A new analysis/theory/headcanon about…. Evil Ryou Akiyama

So first of all, Evil Ryo wouldn’t be too different from Good Ryo.

Similarities

a deep affection and love for the Ichijouji Brothers

will never lift a hand against Ken

a bright smile in the face of adversity because he’d rather hide his true emotions

skilled use of a whip and knives

tendency to jump right into danger for what he considers worth it

apparent obliviousness to a lot of things, characterized by a supposed carefree attitude and slow blinking blank stare

digimon friends everywhere

street smart af

able to digivolve any digi he wants under certain conditions

in his own way, loves and hates his partner

still has those tats he has in my canon

So besides all of that, which is what I consider the core of the Ryo character, here are a few of the major changes to Ryo when he’s not a Backup Savior/Token Soldier Boy of the Digital World

Mille would have him ditch the red sweater that he’s been wearing for literal years and just patching up as needed since he’s normally poor af in my canon, but Mille would refuse to have his beloved wear anything less than the best clothes

he’d insist he’d still the same good guy he’s always been, he just found out a new, a better way to save the Digital World that doesn’t involve him having to literally kill his partner, again

protecting his partner is on par with protecting bby ken in his mind, so he’ll never raise a hand against Mille unless it’s to protect the Ichijouji Brothers and vice versa

more willing to sacrifice other digimon for his goal

get on his bad side and those smiles turn dark and the Tzar will have arrived as he straightens his back and prepares a weapon

officially, he’s known as the Digimon Tzar, but he rarely likes to call himself that, never has felt good about being above others, but he’s getting more used to it since that’s what his partner insists on

remembers every tiny slight against him or against Mille, and will seek revenge for them

actually has a Dark Spore in him, close to his heart, it allows Mille to influence his desires and makes him stronger

besides that scarring on his right arm, there’s not a scratch on Ryo because Mille uses his powers over time a lot to ensure his human is in peak condition

he’s  d o n e  fighting someone else’s war for no profit, and will not be very happy if he even has to be in the vicinity of Gennai and the Four Harmonius Ones

TRI SHOUSHITSU SPOILER: tbh he’d happily cause that reboot if it meant he could get rid of the Harmonious Ones and have a happy little rookie of his partner, unhurt by everything that happened

okay so, warnings for referenced tri spoilers in this OOC post that I would prefer non-rp blogs not reblog because this is a crack theory and crack ship and I know I vaguely mentioned it to @its-your-light and @meimeiko-chan already

first off, when I say Triser, I mean the guy doing all the creepy stuff in Tri, a’ight?

So we know how Triser has looked, and we know what digis he has at his beck and call and honestly the only reason I never suggested this before was because of how anti this theory I am but it makes sense in it’s own wacky way

but for a while I thought “haha wouldn’t it be funny if ryo was the villain?” You know, that brown haired dork that’s always wearing a dorky sweater and tends to arrive at the end of a battle with starbucks only for himself not even for anyone else but still expects to have a slice of cake at the party? 

yeah, that guy

now the theory i hate is that gennai and ryo are one and the same, I absolutely loathe that theory because there’s so many points proving it wrong but we’re not here to talk about that today

we’re here to talk about Creepy McCreeperson possibly being an E.V.I.L. Akiyama Ryo, possibly after Cyberdramon evolved without him, thereby leading to Milleniummon, who more than likely would want to go back to the Adv world because hey, he got kicked out before but that’s his home and he was trying to take it over and actually succeeded if it weren’t for Ryo

But now Mille’s got Ryo already and could idk, pull them back to the Adv world and immediately destroy his own body to create more Dark Spores which would immediately infect Ryo and turn him evil, into what I like to call, the Tzar. 

Then our Tzar goes and uses all of Mille’s knowledge, creates a few digi clones because hey, Mille’s done it before, close off the digiworld from the human world, also done before, and a bunch of other things like silencing the good guys and capturing/killing them too. which has also been done before by Mille (and to a smaller extent, by Ryo)

Then Tri happens

And the creeptastic stuff too in Loss/Shoushitsu

and now here’s a crack ship of Ryo/Sora based on the fact that canon itty bitty Ryo ignored Mimi’s advances...but maybe because he’s more into redheads? And apparently a kinky mofo judging by what happens with Sora and Meiko. Oh and cosplay ;)
