May I ask for you thoughts on the PPGZ anime?

I haven't watched enough to form an opinion, but in general I don't mind it because you could argue that it's just a spinoff. Thus it's existence doesn't really affect anything with the original PPG canon.

I do often think about the casting call concept art and wonder what could have been though

What is this blog about? / What is this fandom?

This is a Hetalia askblog, and centers around Lutz who is my interpretation of Himaruya’s canon design of 2P!Germany. Headcanons are liable to change as I continue to develop Lutz as a character.

Lutz is a common German nickname for Ludwig. While Lutz has been coined as 2P!Germany’s name for the sake of differentiation, Lukas is my headcanon name for him.

Where did Lutz's scars come from?

PLEASE tell me about how being a human lie detector complicates Kallus and Zeb's friendship that premise is amazing and I need it

So I came up with the idea when I was Heavily into Kalluzeb (most of my fic Ideas tend to be around something i'm very into at a given point in time)

Basically Kallus has been used to people lying to him, so he does not know how "truth" essentially tastes like. He can smell strays of it sometimes but it's not something he relied at all on while in the empire. It's only after he comes back from being stuck on Bahryn with Zeb that he realises what truth tastes like.

And he decides that he'd rather be around truth than live a lie in the empire, and his ability does help him while working undercover.

His friendship with Zeb grows once he defects, and while he does expect the little white lie he'd sometimes get like "Did you eat today/yea I did/Zeb I don't think one meelon fruit is enough"

He does not expect for Zeb to tell a lie when another Rebel asks him if they're friends. Kallus expects the man to hang out with him less if he thinks they're not friends, but Garazeb still asks him to spar & nags him to take a break from work.

So Kallus decides to distance himself instead, but that doesn't help either as Zeb then approaches him to ask what's wrong. Kallus feels like their friendship is real but if so, why does Zeb lie??

Mike, what's your opinion on Movie Mike? Can y'all even watch movies in whatever place y'all are in?

They, especially Mike right now, cannot! But I want to answer this for funsies and because the fnaf movie has been stuck in my brain.

ATR Mike (whom I'll call Michael for ease) would be incredibly jealous of Movie Mike (Mike).

Not only does Mike not have William as a father, his little sister is still alive. And Mike stuck around to take care of her, something Michael did not do. So Michael would initially wish he could be like Mike....

Until Mike starts sleeping on the job. Then Michael would call Mike an idiot.

Michael has been through many many Freddy's pizzarias. And to fall asleep in any one of them is a big mistake. How Mike survived, Michael doesn't know and he considers Mike damn lucky to still be here. Michael would absolutely smack Mike over the head for the dumb shit he pulls night five. Michael is absolutely on Vanessa's side.

Speaking of which, Movie Vanessa would probably be his favorite. And if he met her, he'd likely commiserate over having William as a terrible father. Honestly just talking about it would help both of them a lot!

William.... Well, Michael probably couldn't watch the climax of the movie without getting VERY uncomfortable.

Ooh, very good question.

If you mean specifically how the body reacts to the metal growths, many things can happen at that stage. Commonly, the process of corrosion (or in simple terms, rusting), due to internal fluids, physical deterioration, or environmental oxygen, and the feature of alloy from the body to the metal itself (aka, the grafting idea I've spoken of before).

Other reactions outside of the metal affecting the body can be caused by heat, cold, and electricity, acting like regular metals would under those elements and so on.

Jessica Cruz needs some love. To let's talk about her!! Her origin, what she's all about, and why you love her.

Ah, Jessica Cruz. My fave Green Lantern

Okay so to start us off simple... Why do I love her? Well... As someone who suffers from anxiety and depression, and has so for years, I always found her inspiring and good representation of what living with that condition can be like

She doesn't just magically get better after getting the ring. She is so scared that some days it's hard for her to leave the house

That pain hits me so hard because it is so relatable to me.

But it also shows why she is PERFECT for the Green Lanterns. Their power comes from Will, from their courage. Their ability to overcome Great Fear. And she overcomes great fear every time she gets out of bed.

Her origin though? Ironically, super complicated. Gonna go with her personal origin first before hero one.

Jessica Cruz and her friend went out camping when... They where basically caught in a slasher movie. All her friends killed. And she only survived thanks to lick

As you can guess: lots of survivors guilt and trauma from this, leading to her mental health issues

And then three months later... She was met with a magical ring

This is how she originally looked, using the code name Power Ring.

So... We all know Earth-3, correct? Evil earth. Batman is Owlman, Superman is Ultraman, Wonder Woman is Superwoman, Flash is Johnny Quick. Evil wins, everyone's the opposite of who they normally are. Going by the Crime Syndicate. We got that? We got that

Okay. So during an event called Forever Evil, the Syndicate invaded earth. Big dramatic fight. The Hal Jordon of Earth-3 died and his ring flew off to find a new user like every Lantern Ring

Now the thing of the Ring of Volthoom, the Ring Power Ring has, it that it is a parasite. It latches onto someone filled with fear and then uses that fear to control them

It found Jess... But so did the Justice League. And they all helped her. Helped her heal, supported her, helped her resist the ring

And then, eventually, she destroyed the Ring of Volthoom.... Summoning a new ring in its place

After all, what shows the ability to ober come fear more than literally shattering a parasitic ring that feeds in fear?

And she rises... As the sixth Lantern of sector 2814

And it was glorious!

What is Jessica Cruz about? Not letting trauma define you. She is about healing and true bravery. She has social anxiety, she has depression, she has self loathing. But she works had to over come it all

...

And then DC fucks or up and makes her a Yellow Lantern! Because heaven help us if we have nice things!

And the worst part for me?

I hate that she ACTUALLY LOOKS GOOD JN YELLOW!

Okay so this is not something I've thought about, but from a character design perspective the pointed ears make him look way more intimidating of a villain and overall have his design flow a lot better so I see what you're saying anon.

The rounded ears just kinda make him look "cuter" than the arch nemesis he's supposed to be. IDK, the later iteration of Mojo Jojo just looks way sharper and better in my opinion looking at them side by side.

Question for the mun! What do you like most about drawing Germany?

I realy like to draw his facial features. I think this is the most favourite part of the process. Usually drawing him from Till Lindemann. Here's a little story behind this: some people told me in 2022-2023 that he looks like Till and i decided to actually start drawing him like this (i don't mind, i find his appearance quite interesting).
