In lighter tornado commentary, I was seventeen when I was taking a shower home alone when the tornado sirens went off and I SPRUNG like a flea out of the shower, down the stairs, grabbed the cat carriers, stuffed Everest and Nerys into theirs by myself, rush them downstairs, run back up two flights of stairs to grab the bunny carrier and fight with Molly to get her in hers and receiving a giant gouge in the thigh that took like six months to heal for my efforts, rush the bunny down two stories to the basement, run back upstairs to grab supplies, all while completely stark naked and with a bleeding thigh only to notice thru the window that it's bright and sunny outside and then realize it was Wednesday afternoon and the county always tested the sirens on bright and sunny Wednesdays from spring to fall
