"been thinking..."
"m," Iwao nodded, moving from the kitchen to where Akira had remained posted in the front room immediately. The house had been disturbingly quiet for the past few weeks, "Yeah?"
"why did you fuck my mom?"
Iwao stayed standing for a while. He chewed on his options for a few moments but. It wasn't as if he could make Akira's opinions on the situation any worse, he figured, "I don't remember. I was young and thought I could get away with it. She was bored probably. Bored enough to say yes. Could have been bad, but she and I were lucky I guess that he looked just enough like you two. And Mr. Otoishi wanted him badly enough to ignore whatever doubt he had, I assume. I don't know, I didn't get to help mastermind that coverup."
"... toshihiro didn't want eiji."
"He... Didn't want Eijiro, but he did want another son since you and Nao didn't seem to be... Tempered right for the business life, not that he didn't absolutely write off your brother just-"
Iwao paused. He'd never thought about it before. He sat down. It always seemed like the big to do was always about Naoaki and Akira occasionally when he was doing what Mari wanted him to and finding that success. Eijiro proved ill-suited for Toshi's uses and Iwao knew Mari never had anything to do with him. He just.
Why hadn't they been in touch?
The story had broken national news by now, surely. But no one had called, no flowers, nothing. He hadn't really thought about it before, but he couldn't muster up anger about it.
Just, "listen. I'll get Sato to watch the house, you and I need to go somewhere. Anywhere. It's been too long. You've been cooped up too long," just that it would be very convenient for them if Akira quietly disappeared too. And the fact that Akira was the one alive was probably very inconvenient for at least Mari, "just a walk somewhere."

Well since you have the living situation out of the way, why not visit Mitsu and Tea? Y'know, get to know her a little better?
"i-i don't see whuh-why i have to come." Iwao knocked on the door to the Hagiwara house, "Because it's not safe for anyone to be alone right now. With a murderer running around on top of Rem." "buh-but everything wuh-was locked!" Iwao's huge hand rested on Eijiro's head and mussed his hair, "Come on, we can go get food after this." "i-i would rather do ah-anything else." Okay, so recently it has been brought to my attention that some people get confused with the characters and OC’s in pushing each other to the limits, since there are so many of them. I wasn’t aware of this being an issue, nevertheless I’m glad anon pointed it out, this way I can create a character log and keep y’all updated with the new arrivals and so on!
I’ll start listing under the cut. ^w^
First off,  Ryōmen Utsukushi-sa. She is the first OC to appear and does so halfway through chapter one. She has pastel pink eyes, white and pink hair that resembles that of a fairy, hollow bones and a pair of big feather-covered wings that, when fully developed, will grant her the ability to fly. She has a sweet tooth and publicly humiliated Midoriya because Katsuki shoved Nakisakebu, a friend of hers. Her name means two-sided beauty, referring to her backstabbing yet charming personality. She has yet to come back.
Nakisakebu makes a brief appearance as well, although she isn’t that important. She gets shoved by Bakugou at lunch and then plots a way to get back at him by humiliating Izuku. Her name means weep.
On that same chapter, Shinrai Dekinai makes an appearance. He looks pretty much like a human bumblebee, with clear wings, dark, wide eyes and a pair of antennas on top of his head. He is quite fluent in English and turned his back on Izuku upon learning that the latter was quirkless as he doesn’t appreciate people lying or hiding this from him. His name is supposed to mean something along the lines of “this can’t go well.” Foreshadowing? Maybe.
Chapter two greets us with the presence of Kiru Tsume, better known as Shitty Tygra Knockoff. He doesn’t really stand out, just a common boy with the appearance of a tiger and sliced pupils. His quirk makes him part Tiger and allows him several feline-like abilities. His name is just a word play on the word “kitsune” which means fox in Japanese.
Matsuoka Akiko makes her first appearance on that same chapter. She is a young woman with pale skin, grey eyes and long ebony black hair, often referred to as a yokai because of her scary appearance. She co-owns La Parroquia de Veracruz and is a happy woman with a bubbly personality. Her name means bright, in reference to her happy personality. Her quirk, Whim, allows her to know what people want/need and tell them apart. As a child she was bullied and holds grim memories of her teenage years and school, reason why she decided to drop out of uni, quit out of her job as a waitress and help her internet best friend start his business.
Mateo Flores is a mexican boy with pastel pink skin and slightly darker pink hair. His eyes are a deep violet and he has a pair of flashy fangs that can rarely be seen since he is shy and doesn’t tend to smile as much as Akiko. He is the original owner of La Parroquia de Veracruz and his quirk, Flavour, grants him the ability to make literally anything taste like glory. His name means decisive. He settled down in Japan just after graduating high school and opened a café, hiring his ibf Akiko as a waitress and also business partner.
Takane Hikari worked as a receptionist the first time she appeared in the story, back in chapter two. She currently works as an intern for a big Support Company and resides in Hosu. Her hair is cyan, short, curly and her eyes are an icy blue. Her quirk, Splatter, although quite useless makes up for a good party trick as she can eject paint from her body. Her name means light.
Kirishima Iwao is a buff, tall man with dark skin and even darker hair. His eyes are a light shade of blue and his quirk, Rock, gives him a thick skin. However, can unharden his skin and make himself soft for a couple of minutes. He works as a trainer in a local gym. Because I’m an uncreative little shit his name literally means rock.
Kirishima Mio is a petite woman with dark hair and sharp, shark-like teeth. She has scarlet red eyes and works as a detective in a nearby precinct. Her name can either be interpreted as beautiful or saint.
Now let’s skip to chapter three. The first to make an appearance here is Bakugou Tsuki. She has white short hair and red eyes that match with a beautiful tanned skin. Her quirk, Ember, lets her set random things on fire and then manipulate the embers. She loves to tease her grandsons and is a single mother. Her name means to thrust.
Yasu Nagisa is Inko’s mother. She is a kind yet untrusting, strict woman with green hair, orange eyes and teal skin. Her quirk, Levitate, allows her to make things fly with a simple glance. Her name means shore.
Yasu Ryuu is Inko’s father. He has blonde curls, blue eyes, and prominent freckles. Unlike his wife, he is a happy-go-lucky kinda guy with a quirk deemed best suited for villany by most people. Appearing allows him to have any object appear on his hands by just knowing what it looks like and its location. His name means dragon.
Chapter four presents us a brand new set of OC’s. First off, there’s Hazuki Kisumi, a boy with dark hair, blue skin and navy blue eyes. He has gills on either side of his neck and fins on both his calves and forearms. His name means mist, like the vague mist that can be seen on the shores at sunrise. His quirk, Introduction, allows him to know how a person would like to be approached. He is quite shy and has a slippery tongue.
Then we have Yamazaki Hiroko, a woman that looks like a triceratops all the way from head to toe. She has broad shoulders and three horns atop her head. Her skin is dark and covered in golden scales, along with her muscled tail. She has dark cocoa hair and partially heterochromatic eyes that go from amber yellow to emerald green, although her prettiest feature are her pair of glassy red lips. She has a flirty personality and likes to joke around. Her name means tolerant and her quirk, Mixing, allows her to mix about anything and everything and make it right. Is she a bartender? Mad scientist? Only time will tell.
Shiozaki Fuji is a short woman with vines for hair and a characteristic stoic face expression. She works as a receptionist in NIK and her quirk grows flowers from her hair. Her name means mountain and she is related to Shiozaki Ibara, student from class 1-B.
Daichi Yuu is an old man with a quirk that allows him to literally blend in with his surroundings. He is the principal at NIK, a responsible adult with a successful career in quirk analysis and quite a lively character. His name means intellect.
From there we skip all the way over to chapter six, where Ai Chiasa makes her first appearance. She is Shouto’s personal chauffeur and her quirk, Teletransporting, is self-explanatory. She has purple skin and peach coloured hair that match with a calm personality. She enjoys pop culture way too much and loves the Todoroki like if they were her own children. Her name means a thousand mornings.
From the recommended exam we have Fudo Daiki, local pervert and wielder of Nightcrawling, a quirk that allows him to use dark areas to teletransport from one place to another. He has neon bright hair and a sly smile and his name means brightness, a contrast to how his quirk works. We also have Shinju Nyoko whose name means gem treasure. She is a bubbly girl with dark skin and an afro. Her quirk, Space, allows her to bend constellations, stars and such at will.
Last but not least, chapter seven brings what I believe to be the last OC’s from this batch. For starters we have Nakamura Harumi, whose name means springtime beauty. She has medium-short, long cocoa hair that match with a pair of brown eyes and grey skin. She is smart yet shy, has a weird liking for the sun and is very trusting of others. Her quirk, Host, makes her the best at organizing events and such.
Then we get introduced to Interi Hiro, a boy with white hair and pastel purple eyes. He is related to Interi Saiko, a girl from the anime-only filler Provisional License Exam episode in season three. He is a carefree guy, although he can be a little bit bitchy when out of soda since that means he can’t use his quirk, I. Q., properly. His name means abundant.
Ryoko Seina is a girl with dark skin, orange hair and bright red eyes. She is a nice person, although prone to get anxious easily. Her quirk, Moonlight, makes her extra productive at night time and she can also expand her limbs thanks to her father’s genes. Her name means innocent and she is a sweet person.
Natalya Ivanova is an elder Russian lady and the homeroom teacher for Class 101 in NIK. She is a strict teacher and likes to make fun of her students, all in good-hearted nature.
Ito Miya is the second highest ranked student in NIK. She has purple skin, pastel pink hair that’s shaved in one side and curly on the other, a scar along her right cheek, freckles and a pair of brown eyes that get hidden underneath black frames that she doesn’t really need. She has three piercings on her left ear to match Kaoru’s and a pair of demonic purple wings that flutter each time she gets excited. Her quirk, Spotlight, allows her switch the attention from herself at will. Her name means wings.
Finally, we have Watanabe Kaoru. He has tanned skin and ash brown hair along with a cute lil’ mole on the upper right part of his lips. His eyes are a vibrant green deep enough to rival Izuku’s and he has a set of three piercings on his right ear. He needs glasses and so he wears a pair of thick-rimmed frames at all times, his name means fragrance. His quirk, Handsome, allows him to morph into what people find physically appealing as long as he meets the requirements (i. e. he can’t grow boobs to appeal people who are into that). He also has a driver’s license and is a long-time friend of Miya.
And I think that’s it! Here you can find a couple of visuals I created, just in case things are a bit unclear. You can also message me and I’ll answer your doubts to the best of my ability! <3

It had been.
Painfully slow, but an uneasy sort of normal had started taking shape in Iwao's life again. Akira's steady pace of physical recovery. A return to work. Normalcy. Of a sort. Of a kind. Anything from the outside would absolutely topple it. He knew it. It made him sick to his stomach. He would keep it in tact. He'd keep that peace together no matter what.

To Iwao... how did you get the name "Cake"?
"Always been, ever since I joined the Yakuza. Used to get picked on for eating too much and all that and it stuck even after that kinda died out."

Iwao knew it wouldn't stay quiet forever, and the inevitable storm of well wishers as knowledge of Eijiro's death spread had only just started tapering off this week.
Sato had joined the fray, and Natsumi were more than welcome. Extra hands were helpful (although neither Diran nor Iwao we're going to let Natsumi do a lot in her current state) as people trickled in and Akira made people nervous or pity him or someone had actually gotten mad and struck him about the whole thing.
Still, Iwao had to admit the company was nice. More to do than worry about Mitsu and the kids or Akira or Eijiro...
Another knock at the door, preventing him from dwelling on those thoughts for long.
He hadn't been expecting.
Her.
The demoness's plump lips pouted, "i heard the news~ that poor thing, that must have been awful scary for such a tiny thing~"
"... How'd you find out," surely- nah... But what if h-nah...
"ohhh, that little shinigami is frightfully upset about the whole thing! About being cheated, you know how you men get about these things," Lorelei shrugged the suggestion that the Alley felt it was owed Eijiro somehow, and that Iwao should understand the feeling, off with a dainty gesture of a gloved hand. Diran had let out a breath he had been holding at the Alley's mention, as Iwao remained in Lorelei's way, "Well, I think he's pretty damn," he cleared his throat, "dead. And you don't seem to have him either so I think we-"
"ooo is my wittle Kiki doing okay~?" She clasped her hands, pouting her perfect lips and- Iwao shook his head, he suddenly had a wicked migraine, "Yesyes, he's fine."
Lorelei huffed. Fine, be that way, "Well, he's not here, but let Kiki know Mani's offer still stands. He'll just have to take me up on it instead."
"Offer," Diran interjected before Iwao could get the question out.
She giggled, "Yes, Mani made him an offer, but he's not here, so if Kiki's interested, I'm authorized to fulfill it~ Although I'm sure he really wanted to be a game piece again," Lorelei tacked on bordering on sarcastic but dripping with sweetness still, "but do tell him I came by at least, pretty pwease?"
"i- sure, of course, ma'am," the demoness smiled warmly, oh there now, he couldn't quite get free from her, could he now? She blew a kiss as she walked off leaving Iwao standing confused, head throbbing in the open door, about that whole exchange.
Between whatever that was and the damn wolf coming around from time to time now too- Yeah, Rem sure did buy this place, didn't he?

"... I wish I'd done more. It's easy with Akira. But I didn't try with Eijiro. He was difficult. He was stubborn. But I didn't. Try," Dr. Cross nodded as Iwao talked. He was up. He was pacing as he talked, "He was difficult. He snuck around. You know how he was. I. I should have been better. I needed to meet him halfway."
"At the end. After he possessed me. After all that..." Iwao sat down, "... It was like... He wasn't even Eijiro. It was... Visceral... That wasn't the kid. That was something horrid that replaced him something so vile that needed to be killed."
Cross nodded again. She had asked about Eijiro, and she had asked Iwao to come back. It was a little intense, going every few days, but she wanted to get him to a space where he could face the rest of his family with what happened, and Iwao wasn't a bottler, at least he wasn't in the "designated space where I'm supposed talk feelings and shit." She could tell getting it out in the open was at least making him feel better. Hopefully, it was helping him process better too...
But that could come later.
That was... Interesting, "And that's when you transferred those feelings to Izzy?"
"I... Didn't mean to... I didn't. Ask. I just knew I needed to get away from it. I felt. Gross. I couldn't stand to look at him it made me sick..."
"So you agreed to the contract without knowing it would transfer."
"I would have killed him. I would have done it. He wasn't... He wasn't my kid he wasn't Eijiro he wasn't safe to be around."
"At least... You felt that way?"
Iwao nodded, "in my head. I couldn't convince myself it was safe. I was scaring him at the end... He was scared of me... He... Expected me to kill him..."
"Expected?"
"when i went to bring him here for the last time... he was terrified when i came and got him... it was the most scared i ever saw him... the first time i think ive ever seen him too scared to do anything... he didn't even hide... it. god... it made me angry..."
"At Eijiro?"
"at eijiro. at myself. at akira. i. it didn't fix anything. i still couldn't stand to look at him, i still had to get him out of the house, i just didn't want to kill him, he was eijiro again, and he was scared shitless of me and i felt disgusting..." Iwao shuddered, "I felt disgusting... I. Doc, I know I failed, but I don't know what I could've done to avoid getting here in the first place..."

Iwao had brought Akira some food regardless of what he'd said about not being hungry. He placed the cup of soup on the windowsill. Akira didn't look away, "Hey. Come on, Oda said you need to eat better. It'll heal you faster."
Akira sighed and picked up the soup, "thanks..."
"No problem," he pulled a chair over, "I asked them to call when they get home."
"... thanks."
"no problem. I agree with you on it," he also agreed with Akira's breakdown a few days ago, worrying about Nana because he didn't know if she had gotten back safe. And how he was going to "freak out if anyone else went missing around this goddamn place," and an entire panicked spiel about the town itself being evil. Iwao got up and draped a blanket over Akira's shoulder.

Iwao ran his hand along his jaw as he finished shaving. He. Eijiro really took after him, didn't he? The stubborn roundness of his cheeks refusing to budge despite being mostly skin and bone towards the end.
He traced the curve of his own naturally rounded jawline. He could picture it, carefully doing the same to Eijiro. Feeling the softness of his face beginning to mature. Telling him that. Telling him... Telling him he was beginning to look like him. That he was proud he did...
He never touched Eijiro. They just didn't have that sort of relationship. It hurt more than it should have, thinking about an interaction he never had with Eijiro. Eijiro would have never allowed it. He would have fussed and told Iwao to stop touching him... Iwao wasn't sure whether to laugh or cry about that.

"... do you think he's okay? maybe he's hiding out with okuyasu?"
Iwao grit his teeth, he'd resolved to rip it off, but actually being faced with it was different, "Eijiro is dead."
Akira blinked a few times. Iwao took a deep breath, "I'm sorry. He's dead. Yuri killed him."
Akira didn't respond. Iwao finally broke at the silence. He collapsed to the floor in front of Akira, "I'm sorry. He's dead. I'm sorry," his hands tangled in his hair, "It's my fault. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. He's dead."
"... i wanna go to my room..."
Akira squirmed uncomfortably as he went unheard over the continued flood of apologies...

"There we go," Iwao was rather pleased with himself for getting Akira in the wheelchair without hurting him, "Now you can go wherever, just holler and I'll help you out."
"... i wanna see out the window..."
Of course he did, "No problem," the window in the kitchen had a very nice view of the yard, but Iwao moved him to the one in the front room. Where he could watch the street.
"... when is eijiro coming back, do you think? it's not like him to be gone this long, even if he's hurt..."
Iwao sighed. This had started up shortly after Akira had recovered his memories, "Akira... I need to make dinner, I'll think about that and tell you later, okay?"
"... you think someone took him?"
"I don't know, okay?"

Iwao had managed to calm himself down. He felt all cried out. He just. Couldn't cry any more. He had nothing left in him right now.
He wondered... He wondered...
He carefully moved Eijiro into his stand, the arms reaching up from his shadow. He carefully... He wondered... The arms tried to push into the tape. They shouldn't have been able, but he had to try...
He couldn't get in, but the raspy breathing was more relaxed now, he noticed. He hadn't really noticed it once he'd started talking to Eijiro after Izzy handed him the tape, but it was gentler now: still struggling but easier.
Iwao gently wrapped his scarf around it and considered what to do...
"Akira."
"yeargh..?"
"Watch your brother," he carefully tucked the bundle up next to him, "if Izzy comes back and wants him back, you can give him to her, but no one else, under any circumstances, is allowed to take him, okay? I'm going to run home and see if we have a tape player somewhere."
There. That should be okay, right? Iwao supposed... He was just going to be a moment, tomorrow morning at the latest if he ran into the hospital stopping visitors, but he wasn't worried about it. Eijiro was much safer here in a secured building than he would be taken just out and about. Besides, he sounded so comfortable right now, he'd hate to ruin that...

"That is...
A little unprecedented," Dr. Cross eyed Iwao a little reproachfully at his request. Eijiro was still silently focused on his box, "You can't... Just surrender your child here."
"I understand, but I'm not. Akira is his guardian. I'm just simply giving him back to his guardian."
"Yes. I see what you're trying to do, but that doesn't change the fact that you can't just surrender him..."
Everyone was quiet. Dr. Cross sighed. She looked at Eijiro, "It's... Unprecedented. But I'll see what I can find out..."
She hated how she could very easily see where Iwao was coming from. It was an unprecedented situation, the way Eijiro was... They should take him. By all means, the Foundation was... Well, it was the safest place for him...

"Hey, Akira, how are you doing," Iwao settled in one of the plastic chairs. "No Eijiro?" "No, not today, he didn't feel well," Akira nodded understandingly. It still surprised Iwao how much Akira didn't remember whenever he encountered it, "How's it going? Doctor's treating you well?" "Yeah. Just. Working through everything... You and I... Aren't actually related?" "Yeah, Eijiro's your half brother and I'm his dad. That's where this deal kind of started," no need to get into the details, that's what Cross told him anyways. Akira nodded slowly, eyes closed, he could see it, kind of, "And I live with you two..?" "We live with you, actually. You came here first. Things got nasty with your guy's mom and Eijiro wanted to be with you instead." "Mom..?" "Don't worry about her, she hasn't been in your life for a while," Iwao paused for a second before continuing in a panic, "but I'm not trying to turn you on your mom or anything like that. We weren't married I have no stakes in you hating or liking your mom." "... okay?"

Iwao collapsed to the floor when he managed to stagger home. He'd been hurt pretty good. Nothing he wouldn't recover from, but still, hurt like a bitch.
He pulled himself upstairs. Eijiro had fallen asleep at some point. Iwao's breath hitched as he lifted the boy up from the wheel chair and moved-
Eijiro stirred slightly. Iwao froze.
He stood completely still until Eijiro returned to sleep. He moved Eijiro to his bed. Tucked him in.
He felt sick.
