#real quick I’ll say that I like to see Bruce working a job because it’s actually a nice novelty#stories where he gets to settle down someplace long enough to do that are few and far between#and I’ll note that Bruce having a peaceful dream and not a nightmare ‘for once’ is attributed to him having been tranquilized#the most important thing here is Bruce’s inclusion in a nuclear power story#also few and far between even though he’s well-suited for it because it’s the Hulk that’s the star#actually it’s a novelty for when this story was published in the late 70s#in the very very early Hulk comics it was a bit more balanced between Bruce and the Hulk or leaned towards Bruce as the focus#and with his job and then-recent origin story and the time period of the early 60s there was an emphasis on nuclear power and Russia#but I think that since then the only story I can think of that involved Bruce with Russia and nuclear power was actually a Defenders story#‘if you’re trying to kidnap me for the atomic secrets inside my head you’ve bitten off more than you can chew.’#yeah no kidding#marvel#bruce banner#my posts#comic panels
