Part 1 of the Drag Race Bot Project--an art project I started when RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 3 started up.  Why not some of my favorite bots to love (and love to loathe) as the eliminated queens of RPDR AS3?

1. Tailgate as Morgan McMichaels -- “I look pretty good for a dead bitch.” -- I purposely chose the entrance look AND quote because it reminded me of Tailgate’s story in Lost Light at the time of the episode.

2. Getaway as Thorgy Thor -- “I’m back to stir up trouble!”  -- I purposely chose the promo look because that was the easiest look to draw on Getaway, to be honest.  The quote?  Kind of a play on how both Thorgy and Getaway DID indeed stir up a lot of trouble.

3. Whirl as Milk -- “I hope to inspire future challenges.”  -- Not gonna lie, I just really liked how Milk looked in that dress and how Whirl would look good as well.

4. Kaon as Chi Chi DeVayne -- “I don’t get ready, I stay ready.”  -- I really liked that week’s runway look, I liked that it looked cute on Kaon, and like Chi Chi, you know that Kaon don’t get ready, he stays ready.

5. Drift as Aja -- “Ayo Sis, I have some unfinished business.”  -- Drift and Aja take a lot of inspiration from Japan in character and in drag fashion respectively so it really fit.  I chose the entrance look because I always thought it looked COOL.  Plus that scooter.

6. Rodimus as Bendelacreme -- “I’m going home a winner.”  -- Okay, the quote was part of Dela’s speech during that self-elimination.  Rodimus and Dela are two of my dear favorites, and like Dela self-eliminated, Rodimus has done self-sacrifice before.  It was a no-brainer who was going to be Dela.  I purposely chose my favorite Lip Sync For Your Legacy dress, the one from the “I Kissed A Girl” lip sync, and had Rodimus white out his name on lipstick in a reference to Dela’s now infamous white-out.

7. Tailgate as Morgan McMichaels, second elimination -- “I Love ya girls!  Keep rocking and slay FABULOUS!” -- I chose this week’s runway rather than a rehash of the entrance look.  It felt like a good bookend.  Not to mention, tartan was a fun challenge for me.
