As righteous as she had felt in the moment, there was a part of her that couldn't believe what she had done.

Lyra had been angry, upset, hurt, betrayed - a whole concoction of emotions brewed inside of her young body and her frontal lobe wasn't developed enough to stop the explosion. She had let her feelings take hold and armed with the magic her parents had taught her, she had done something truly horrible. So horrible, that her mother would be proud.

She was surprised she wasn't already in Azkaban alongside her parents, but instead in the comfort of her aunt and uncle's home. No doubt it was her Uncle Lucius' negotiations that had brought her to the bedroom that she stayed in on the school holidays. It was there that she would await what came next.

Lyra didn't even bother unpacking her suitcase, instead sitting on the edge of the bed as her mind swum with thoughts. Snippets of conversation echoed through her head, the repercussions of her actions unknown for the moment. They had taken her wand away from her and without it, she felt naked.

She used an unforgivable. Of course, she should have her wand snapped! Only fourteen and she's headed down the same path as her parents.

They couldn't take her magic away - could they?

She knew she couldn't go back to Durmstrang and that broke her heart - but not as much as never being able to feel that power trickle through her again.

A short knock on her bedroom door, brought her out of her mind and to the present. "Come in," she welcomed, certain it was either her aunt or uncle coming in to lecture her.

Looking after my children f/os as a group like:

Lyra (12), Wendy (11)

Will (13), Bruce (15)

Cosette (7), Allister (12) + my fankids, Atticus (15), Titus (13), Cordelia (10), and Diantha (9).

Bonus is we're all in Lyra's universe so everyone has a dæmon to add to the fun!!!

Will, Bruce, and Atticus are very good, helpful, serious boys and would take it upon themselves to try and help me keep everyone else in check even though I would keep reminding them they don't need to. I think once they realize they don't have to help, Bruce breaks out the chess board and he, Will and Atticus take turns playing and observing each other's methods.

Wendy is HUGE on sports, as are Diantha and Cordelia regarding fútbol and while Cosette is a tutu princess at 7 years old she still enjoys running around and kicking the ball and the girls are good at making sure they pass it to her often.

Lyra, a fantastic storyteller, would rather climb trees and swap stories with Allister (his are all spooky!!!) & Titus; Titus in turn challenges Lyra to come up with some wild universes to world build together and Allister to come up with scary stories of his own & bc Titus is a lil thespian, helps them both with their acting skills.

I could flutter from group to group and check in on each and listen to them and praise them and ply them with snacks and water and sunscreen and I love these kiddos so so much ;--;

"i bet hansol would know." she sighed quietly. her distracted thoughts were certainly unhelpful as she navigated through unknown territory. without a steady path to follow, the girl was wobbling back and forth as she attempted to trudge onward to the rumored shop of magic and potions. despite the daylight, onlookers would probably assume the tavern regular had started her night early. but alas! misol was on a mission for the impossible.

rumors about the apothecary and the white witch who kept it had been swirling amongst the teahouse. though she'd initially paid their words no mind, her mind began to wander back to the stories she'd grown up listening to. witches were mystical and otherworldly, able to create something out of nothing— miracles! drawn into the allure of it all, her feet eventually carried her to the shop's front door.

knock, knock.

"don't eat the gingerbread. don't eat the gingerbread. don't eat the gingerbread." her whispers had become a quiet mantra to soothe her nerves as she waited on a response from the other side.

she even feeds you by her hands that she cooked herself.

she gives you 4 tight hugs, min 10 kisses on cheek/neck/lips and 3 sweet words while resting your head on her lap in a day ( yes she counts 💀 ) .

you were like a bird in cage in her eyes. all weak, pure, beautiful and innocent…

she always dolls you up with beautiful clothes and even makes your daily skin care.

and in the end of day… she would tear your clothes off off you and devour your divine beauty as you’re a nothing but a doll to play with.
