crosshair anatomy lessons!

these guys r so alien and icky n strange To Me. a little note that me usually stylizing them as the simple plus shape isn't inaccurate- they usually look like that anyways, you have to get pretty close to see the little eyes! and they + the pits of the crosshair r black anyways

also neglected to mention it in the text notes but the center pit is for extrasensory stuff like electromagnetics (like a shark!) nd other weird stuff that doesn't rly fit nicely into the job of eyes/nose/mouth 🫶 if dilated too far it can cause them to start picking up on stuff they aren't exactly.... equipped to comprehend! (this is why the Maker has that baller ass galaxy crosshair- that's the pit, heavily dilated to show that they can sense and comprehend all that shit)

So, the main 4 are fighting over who gets to date the Player or something like that. Player walks in and goes, “I thought all 4 of us were dating already???”

Oh god, that would be so funny. Especially if the Player had already been acting like they were in a relationship with all of them and made it really obvious that they held romantic feelings for them.

The four would just be absolutely flabbergasted while you're standing there saying things like "Did you think me kissing you right on the mouth was a platonic gesture? fr?" 🤨

You know Doc is going to be really embarrassed that he didn't notice this too, considering how he generally thinks he's more perceptive than the other three. The man can find a way to stop The Machine using time loops but can't see that his own feelings are reciprocated. I think they'd all fall into the trap of thinking it's just a "human thing" that you were doing too, which is one of the reasons why they're so surprised.

Overall though, I think they'd be happy. However, that doesn't mean that competition will end between them, all things considered. It just means that they can be far more forward with their intentions and feelings - which is a good thing for them. And I can't see Hank really liking the idea of 'sharing' you with the other three. (Especially when it means he can't outright kill them as he was probably considering. Although maybe he could've made an exception for 2BDamned. Maybe.)

Competition and jealousy will likely be fierce in the beginning, so maybe try spending equal time with them, and see how that works out. Let them take in your affections knowing you do love them as they so hoped you did, without the interference or presence of one another. Until they get used to it and calm down, at least.
