the orange

the coffee

whether it’s your sharp tongue, your tendency to blow hot or cold, or the familiarity of you, you’re the coffee. don’t immediately assume that your undercurrent means you’re bitter, a common misconception, because people who like coffee always make it work for them. coffee doesn’t always have to be dark, it can be a warmth that’s comforting and the first start to a day. you aren’t nearly as tough as you make out to be, but we’ll keep your secret. you’re a constant, won’t ever go out of style. not everyone’s taste, but what is these days? an unknown quote reads “I like drinking coffee alone and reading alone... I realize that even though I like being alone, I don’t fancy being lonely” remember you don’t always need to face things yourself, there’s a reason people suggest “coffee?” when they want to spend time together.

Harriet, hands down. she has an old recipe book thats been passed down through her mother's side of the family for generations, and she now holds the book with some of the best homemade meals. she spends some of her freetime in the kitchen with her cooks, showing them how to make meals in the best way and even makes food for them too. she's a great cook and baker! she'll make food for you, even if you didn't ask. <3

Stan, unfortunately. with him, depression has taken over his life in more ways than one, and it heavily affects his relationships with others. a romantic one especially would be in critical danger because of how unhappy he is. and he doesn't mean to be that way. with his own side of life, it's Hell for him and has found no good or healthy way to find that happiness.

He swore he wasn't going to go for another drink in a long while. He swore to himself he wouldn't be like his dad and become a severe alcoholic with no way of stopping. Though, he was Randy's child, and it would come hit him sooner or later. He didn't like the taste, but he needed something to really cover up the constant frustrations of dealing with his stupidity at home, struggling to stand up on both feet.

"I'm fine, I'm fine..." He grumbled, struggling to lean onto her. "I... can walk. I'm just... lightweight. It's fine, Nimue."

His body laid silent against the couch, immobile and refusing to move. It was... awful, today. He couldn't seem to bring himself out of bed today, and barely managed to bring himself out to Nimue's place with the most minimal of outfits to keep himself warm. What else could he do? Absolutely nothing. That's all he could do - nothing.

"...and what else are you gonna do?" He asked, slowly turning his head to the side. "There's barely anything I can do, Nimue. It feels like everything fucking sucks right now. Like I'm not supposed to be here..."

"Tch. I knew it." His arms had been opened wide, wingspan stretched to its fullest when asking Kyle genuinely. In his honesty, he had not kept himself too touched up in regards of his hair or his clothes. The goth style was in its mix of modern dressing, but his hair and face for the most part looked terrible. And Stan was in denial for a minute. Lack of sleep caused him to be very grumpy very quickly.

Expected, Kyle had approached him with a look of uncertainty and concern. Stan's glare, on the other hand, was not in any way a regard for his mood. He was just tired, "Dude, I'm fine. Just tired..." A partial lie. "Seriously, I'm fine. Just... don't push it, I was only askin'."

Letting his arms rest, Kyle's hand was on his now, glancing up at him with a twitch of a brow. He grumbled, lips pursing tightly, "...listen, I haven't gotten any decent fuckin' sleep all night. My dad's been on his weed tangent shit again. You'd be cranky too, Kyle. You hate dealing with my dad anyway. Try dealin' with him for a whole eight hours, on and off."
