Summer finally came and it was time for their monthly break of work. It was that time of year when each team assigned to their said station were to take some time off for a break. As for Ashton and Ignis, it was the perfect time to relax with their kids and sleep in as much as they could.

Ashton took a bath on her own, slipping into sweet bliss within the bubbles of her tub. She let Ignis spend some time with Kayo and Rose before she were to get up from her bath time. Though, to her surprise, Ignis had joined in on her bathing, taking some time to wash her hair.

Taking the time to go outside to see a new attraction, her farm was the first thing to catch her eye.

     “Aw... look at him!” She cooed, holding a chick in one hand. “They’re all so cute!” She began to pick up more and more in her hands. Now her palms were full of chicks.

     It was a long day for Ashton. She chose to spend the night with Ignis, hoping it would give him a break from work. Ever since the birth of Rose, he was overworking to perfect in taking care of her and their new baby.

     “Iggy... Can you... grab a snack for me?” In Ashton’s lap was Rose, who was born in September. She was munching on a small snack that Ashton made for her, being a quiet but happy baby. As for the newly unprepared mother, she had put on a soft onesie and was very lazy with being productive for the day. She was not wanting to cook; she was too tired to actually push herself to do anything today.

     But something told her that today was not going to be any different than it has been for the past few months.

     “She’s starting to nibble on my hand again,” she chuckled. “You might have to grab something for her, too.”

It wasn’t painful nor uncomfortable, but it felt like a rush of energy had forced her awake and she could no longer sleep. It was an unusual feeling, definitely euphoric, but it scared her.

     “Iggy, wake up!!” She cried, now patting her hands on his face. “Wake up!! I don’t know what to do! About this! Wake! Up!”
