I worked on and finished this a year ago, but due to personal problems I... am only finally making myself upload it now. I’ll post refs when I’m not having anxiety/circulation issues. Again, this is a transliteration, a non-direct translation that matches rhythm and rhymes so you can sing it too.

On... a certain morning, a snowy time

A small squab spread its wings

It leapt and took to the sky!

When? Did my belief start

Perhaps as a small child, who didn't know, a single thing about the world

Why? Can I love now

It's because of those- who've raised me with the warmth from their hearts

That's all I've got to ground me, as I soldier on and rise to the sky

All alone now, I shiver and sigh

Black or White?

Which is right? I want to see it for myself

I had been stuck, it's time to crack down on this shell

Where? Did I think I was

It was a castle, a palace, sure, but how could I imagine judging it all from there

What? Am I after now

I guess something to believe on, since in this world, it's all you have to lead your path

I look back at what I've left behind, as the wind lifts us to the sky

I've never felt so light

Black or White?

Which is wrong? I still can't really say

Now that I see, maybe there is a middle way

Why does it have to be like this?

If justice is a thing why is there so much death

I see so many reasons thrown around

And everyone's just fighting, too

White and Black, they aren't the only tones there is

Nothing about life is as simple as it seems

And as such, in this world of so much grey

There isn't just one choice

I have more than my voice

I will find my own way!

Now I know, even if the struggles last too long; there's a light. And I won't give up

Black and White, take it slow, moments like these come and go

With my strength, I swear to protect the entire world

You haven't seen all I got

With this courage of mine, I'll raise my sword and fight!

On one morning, snowy time
