I'm an adv lit roleplayer (trust me, if you're not looking for 2 or more discord character length responses per reply then you're in the wrong place) interested in indulging me on one of several unrelated plots and ideas I've had! they will be either marvel, marvel-adjacent (such as marvel characters within a completely unrelated au), or completely original. open to fxf, mxf, and mxm!

before I get into the general ideas, let me preface this by saying I get very enthusiastic and detailed with plotting and our characters. I'm looking for a partner who's the same, nothing bums me out more than a partner who doesn't ramble on and on about ideas and the nitty gritty stuff with me. I also love talking ooc, so please expect that! I'm frequent with my replies if this is you, and not so frequent if you don't have the same energy.

also! I'm very very open to 🕊 and darker plots. I'm also very very happy to play as a dom for you, but some of the plots may not be conducive to nsfw right away, just an fyi. if I do play as the dom and we click, I'd love to potentially double in the future— but not before we set up and establish our first rp!

I am doing great because I made some important discovery on my same dress research.

My favorite period and country are the second half of the 18th century in France, as its fashion is just absolutely beautiful. I absolutely love the elegant silhouettes, and gorgeous fabrics, and opulent adornments.

Also, the time between 1750 and 1800 is such a dynamic period with many changes. The 1750s start with a natural waistline and stomacher, but the dresses are more opulent and broader. During the following decades, the dress becomes more simplified, the stomacher goes out of fashion, and the robe à la française loses popularity, only used for ceremonial occasions, while more informal, once and pastoral-inspired dress types like the chemise à la Reine, the Sultana. and the robe à la Polonaise are becoming a part of mainstream fashion. Finally, in the last decade, the waistline raises high, and the bum pad becomes small, making the silhouette much slimmer.

An orthopedic surgeon suggested replacing the ankle with an artificial one, but the procedure is costly, takes months to heal, and requires lots of physical therapy. So I’ve taken a different route. Even before the pandemic, the typical American family was spending more than $6,000 a year on health insurance premiums. Add in copayments and deductibles that doctors, hospitals, and drug companies also charge, and that sum rises to $6,400. Add in typical out-of-pocket expenses for pharmaceuticals, and it’s at least $6,800. That’s not all, because some of the taxes the typical family pays are for health insurance, too — for Medicare and Medicaid and the Affordable Care Act. Add them in, and the typical household pays $8,975 a year for health insurance. This number doesn’t include what typical workers’ employers spend on their health insurance – which might otherwise go to their wages.

American spending on healthcare per person is more than twice the average in the world’s other thirty-five advanced nations. Yet the United States ranks near the bottom among advanced nations for life span and infant mortality. Americans are sicker, our lives are shorter, and we have more chronic illnesses. Canadians, for example, can expect to live on average almost four and a half years longer than Americans, even though health care spending per person is only about half as high as in the U.S.

Healthcare is so expensive that many Americans put off seeing a doctor until their health has seriously deteriorated. Even with the Affordable Care Act, some 30 million Americans have no health insurance coverage at all.

Not only do too many dollars go to super-specialists and too few to preventive generalists, but the administrative costs involved in private for-profit insurance are humongous. About a third of what the typical American pays for health insurance goes to the people who oversee billing and collections. And then of course there are marketing and advertising expenses, and the profits that go to shareholders or private-equity managers.

Finally, if the pandemic taught us anything, it’s that we need to decouple health insurance from employment. Losing a job shouldn’t mean the loss of a family’s lifeline to healthcare.

The Affordable Care Act was a good start at reform, but today I’m urging Congress to replace private for-profit health insurance with Medicare for all. This would lead to far lower total costs — including premiums, co-payments, deductibles, and taxes — and it would cover all Americans. People could keep their same doctor or other health-care provider, and could buy private insurance to supplement it — just as some people now buy private insurance to supplement Medicare and Social Security. But as Medicare and Social Security have demonstrated, we shouldn’t need to pay private for-profit insurers boatloads of money to get the insurance we need.

I have no illusions this will happen soon. But the road we’re now on is unsustainable — economically, politically, and socially. Eventually, we’re going to have some version of Medicare for All (and hats off to members of Congress who are leading the way, such as Representatives Pramila Jayapal, Debbie Dingel, and Ro Khanna). The question is how much unnecessary cost and hardship must we bear before we do?

Love love love that we're getting into socialite au again!!

💄: While Bosco often makes fun of rich people things and is very insistent on still living their normal life with a regular job and regular clothes and regular friends, Bosco does appreciate the very expensive red lipstick Jasmine gifts them (under the guise that she bought it for herself but it wasn't her color so Bosco would just interpret it as a hand-me-down or not wanting to be wasteful). But Bosco wears it literally all the time. And when they've broken up after the article is out and Bosco runs out of it, they're genuinely a little bummed that they can't afford to just go out and get another because it's so nice and it reminds them of Jasmine.

🕊: When planning her four previous weddings, Jasmine really tried to pull out all the stops. She was out here planning around a whole farm house theme, then around this ultra glamorous theme, then around this super natural botanical sort of theme. At Sunday dinners, after they've fully extorted every piece of information from Bosco and decided that they're acceptable again, they get on the conversation of roasting Jasmine's tastes in weddings, bringing up the time she was planning when she was engaged the second time. Jasmine really thought she was going to release like a hundred doves out into the open, to symbolize love or some other form of nonsense. But then she went to see the doves before hand and one escaped from the cage and pooped on her head so she scratched that idea. And of course Bosco's teasing her about it as well, hoping that she's refined her tastes a bit by now.

🍸: (you all probably think that I'm going to make Bosco throw a drink like I always do but Wrong). One time when Jasmine takes Bosco to a fancy benefit dinner and they accidentally spill this lady's drink on the lady sitting next to them, genuinely apologetic, genuinely trying to be considerate and make Jasmine look good (because they're in love with their Jazzy at this point but I digress), the lady Bosco spills the drink on is furious. It's literally just a vodka soda, nothing's stained, she's just a touch wet and Bosco's trying their hardest to dab at the dress and sop the liquid up but this lady isn't having it and is demanding that they be removed, as they shouldn't even be here in the first place. So now Bosco's feeling extra bad and Jasmine's pissed, because how dare someone imply that Bosco is any less than in any regard. So Jasmine grabs Bosco's wine from beside them, throws it at the lady, and says "at least I gave them a valid reason to kick us out," as they're being escorted from the banquet.

🗝: Bosco receives another *Discussion* when Jasmine gives them a key to her apartment. Yes, Bosco already received a *Discussion* which ended in permission to put on the skimpy red thing again. But this time, Bosco's getting extra drilled through all these questions about maintaining Jasmine's security and the seriousness of their relationship. And the whole time Bosco's thinking 1. I've gotten in too deep and now I don't know how to stop this article without literally ripping her soul out. And 2. Honestly though if I can sort that out it'll be really good! Really exciting! Jasmine's snoring is like, the best white noise money can buy!

🌊: When they do get together for the second time, the time that sticks, they're both not terribly interested in doing anything too luxurious. So when they decide to go on vacation, they take a few days to go to the beach in the name of celebrating their engagement. Just sitting together, watching the tides roll in, feeling so content.
