Normally, Neka keeps his vorpal tongue in check, but if one feels like being uppity and snippy with him, he’s more than happy to snap back. “You know, girl, one thing I’ve been taught is the value of being silent. While it’s clear you can’t understand it, given your need to prattle about nonsensical things, that doesn’t mean that we adults don’t. Besides, aren’t the best predators the ones who know how to sneak up on their prey?” A sigh. He shouldn’t lose his temper with mere children like this, but if this demon–he could tell that no matter how human she appeared, she was something far different–thought she could pull a fast one on him, he would correct such erroneous thinking. “But I will defer to your experience…as the animal.”
