I'm not sure if you been asked this before but, what would Hunter's reaction upon seeing Belos again after "Disappeared"? Because we know Hunter knows what his uncle looks like underneath the mask.

so I drew this all at like 2 am but!!! Itd go something like this (I apologize in advance if it looks like a hot mess in advance)

he just keeps on seeing him like out of the corner of his eye but he can NEVER get to him. hunter is questioning whether or not that is his uncle because seeing the emperor in casual clothing feels like a fever dream but eventually it culminates into something along these lines

the idea is that hunter spends the rest of the day (after realizing phil = belos who lost his memory) trying to get his memory working and to get him to remember being the emperor but he keeps on being interrupted every time.

eventually he gives up and gets forcibly integrated into the house of owl

tbh i understand that character deaths have to happen occasionally, but sometimes a creator will go and kill a character prior to using them to their full potential?? and it won't even hit hard bc it's not a purposeful decision. it's not " it's so tragic that gary died before his time and this arc/story examines that tragedy and how it could have been avoided. " it's " it's so tragic gary died. woulda been more tragic if i put in more work. " like i'm not gonna be sad that you killed gary if you don't do the groundwork before/after. i'm gonna be mad bc you killed a character, and it was a wasted death bc nothing interesting or meaningful happened as a result, or it didn't even need to happen.

i dunno?? maybe people will disagree with me, but i feel like so many series and movies will fall into killing characters for shock value -- or maybe there's a reason, but they poorly execute it by rushing the story or failing to ever tell the story beyond " oh these two mean a lot to each other " without much detail. and that's so frustrating when you get attached to those characters and i'm sorry to rant all of a sudden asdfg i'm just feeling salty as heck over this rn (｡•́︿•̀｡)

OOC : Sorry for the delay everyone , dealing with some IRL nonsense rn . Long story short , one of my neighbors didn't park their car properly , and it rolled right into my car . Filed a claim with their insurance , and it got denied so dealing with filing a complaint against them to get this all looked into .

I hesitate to write about eight's past most of the time cuz it sounds so edgy out of context but. what if everyone you ever loved tasked you to kill them and their friends so the work of countless lives could go on past their inevitable deaths. what if some of them lied about being at peace with it and you could see their fear in their final moments. what if you made yourself do it anyways because it was a betrayal of everything and everyone if you didn't. what if some them even begged for their lives and you didn't spare them. what if you did it without knowing if it was right but only that it was your duty and all you had left of them the next day was a little box of files to be dumped into a shredder, an empty desk, a dead potted plant that used to be someone else's decoration. it's all that remains. you say nothing to their family.

you hear someone else using their number not even a week later. a fresh face, too young. there's no longer a single person with those names past a certain age. you know it's because of you.
