Double-sided embroidery (双面绣)

Material : Organza fabric + gradient thread. I don’t have silk thread, therefore, I am using the ordinary six strand embroidery floss thread.

I started this challenge with a quote and it has a meaning. I like to use the Art of War concept in some challenge, even when doing art and embroidery.

Let your plans be dark and impenetrable as night, and when you move, fall like a thunderbolt - Sun Tzu Art of War. Well, surprise always keep to the last!😉

My working desk . Here are some Yamper lining up to be made into brooches! This is how it usually look on my working desk. We don’t actually have a desk in the house, so my embroidery area is usually the kotatsu. It is a low table with blanket attached, a heater underneath the table so it’s cozy and warm during winter. But to be honest, sitting on the floor for too long really is not good for your back. I’ll need an upgrade of my work space very soon 😅. . Where in your home is your favourite spot to chill?
