The C-indies haven't posted many Christmas tunes this year, but this one from 陳虹竹 Red pig and guitarist 王家鴻 Jahong Wang is gorgeous. =D

Laufey (Laufey Lin Jónsdóttir) blew up over the last year or so, releasing albums and touring the world. She released a 2-song holiday single with Norah Jones in November, and here they are on The Today Show a few weeks ago, sounding quite lovely:

Let’s check out a cappella unit 碰！樂團 Poem vocal band   =D

This clip came out last year, and I think they have added one more male vocal since then.  And looking at an older video (see below), I think a couple of members have changed in the last 2 years

I was looking for something appropriate for the Year of the Pig and 陳虹竹 Red pig is a member of this band, along with Vicky Chang, 周家寬-tenor?, 朱庭誼 Ariel Chu (Ting-Yi Jhu), 紀景華 Xavier Kee-bass, Wen 蔡雯慧-Voc & music director, Fa-Hsien Chen-beatbox.

陳虹竹 Red pig gets jazzy and a little sassy on a classic American Pop Standard.   =D

This is a fairly new band (late 2016) called 音樂微光 MusicLight. In addition to 陳虹竹 Red pig, we have SaxChair 闕毓瑩-sax, 葉超-gtr, Daniel Kuo 郭任瑋-bass, and 琮維-drums.  (I’m not sure about the drummer being an official member of the band - I think sometimes they play without a drummer)

Jason snuck in a teeny run from Stevie Wonder’s Isn’t She Lovely, that’s quite clever!

I just notice that there is a separate  Red Pig fb.  (not sure which is the personal and which is the ‘band’ page)
