Ive been in Korea for about a week now and you’re ready to head over to your new job. I was called in to become a new makeup artist for this kpop group. They hadn’t exactly told me who the group was. I slowly make my way out of bed and start to get ready. I throw on a pink sweater and blue jeans. I decided to keep my makeup light and just put a head band on.

I get a call saying that my cab was here to pick me up so I ran towards my kitchen to grab a banana, my bag and keys and run out the door. I tried calming my nerves the whole ride there hoping that it wouldn’t show when I met the group. I thanked my bad drive and made my way into the building. There was a staff waiting for me to show me around. “Hi Miss y/l/n? My name is jinyoung, nice to meet you” he smiled “nice to meet you” I greeted him shyly. “ let’s show you around the building first and then we’ll have you meet the group you’ll be working with and the specific member that you’ll be doing.” I nodded and he ushered me to the elevators. He showed me around the majority of the building and explaining to me the difference levels that each group was on. About an hour had pasted and he clicked on floor 7. “ you’ll be meeting the group and your member now” jinyoung said. Once we were on the floor we walked towards what looked like a meeting room. We walked in and no one was there. “ I told them to meet here at 3:30 sharp and I can’t believe they’re late. Do you mind just waiting here while I go find them?” Jinyoung asked. You shook your head and he walked out. Maybe a second after he left your stomach started growling. Breakfast. The banana. You forgot to eat and the nerves curved your appetite. You grab the banana from your bag and tore a small piece off to eat it. You hadn’t even noticed someone walk in. “ 새로 나온 바나나우유 드셔보셨나요?” I heard a male voice say. My head shot up with a chunk of banana in my cheek. I swallowed as fast as I could and said “ sorry?”. “ oh I’m sorry, I didn’t realize you didn’t speak Korean. I’m jungkook”. He said. Jungkook. BTS. Im going to be on BTS’s makeup team. Oh my god. He stuck his hand out to shake mine. “ I’m y/n”. The door opened mid hand shake and the other 6 members walked in. “ so i see you’ve meet jungkook” jinyoung said. “ Yes, she has and why didn’t you tell me she was going to be so pretty? Hobi Hyung you’re one lucky man” jungkook stated. I didn’t understand what he was saying but all I saw was a few of the members and Jinyoung roll their eyes. They all introduced themselves and I had found out I was going to do J-Hopes makeup. “ y/n you start now. They boys have a dance rehearsal to film in 1 hour. The other makeup artist and stylist are waiting in the room to start. I will let you guys guide her to the room”. We all nodded and headed towards the other room. “ so y/n how long have you been in Korea?” Namjoon asked. “ only a week” I smiled. He was tall. His eyes calmed my nerves a lot. “Looks like we have to take you out to eat then.” Jungkook smiled. “ now don’t scare her off jk. She’s got to get comfortable with us” j-hope hugged me. I just smiled and nodded. We walked into the room.

( jungkook POV)

I was running late to the meeting jinyoung has scheduled with the new makeup artist. I was jogging through the halls trying to make it there on time. I see jinyoung walking down the hall way opposite from the meeting room. I was confused but it wouldn’t hurt to check to make sure it was still there. I walk in and see a girl grabbing a piece of a banana. Is this her? I would’ve thought it was gonna be an older lady. “ have you tried that new banana milk they came out with?” I said. Her head shot up. She look like she’d just seen a ghost but she looked cute when a banana piece stuffed in her cheek. She was pretty. Prettier than any other staffed member I’ve seen. Her deep dark brown eyes and the long brown hair. She seemed so gentle and sweet. “ sorry?” That took me out of the trace I was in. “ sorry, I didn’t know you didn’t speak Korean. I’m jungkook.” Thank god for the english classes I’ve been taking. “ I’m y/n”. I put my hand out to shake hers. Y/n. Pretty. I heard the door open and the rest of the boys walked in. Throughout the whole meeting I couldn’t stop looking at her. She was absolutely beautiful. I was jealous of Hobi for getting her as his makeup artist. The meeting ended and we were walking her to the makeup room. She stood in the back walking next to namjoon and hobi. I’m going to try and convince them to take her out to eat.

(Y/n POV)

We walked into the room and I was greeting my 6 different women. They came and hugged me tell me how excited they were to work with me. They said something about the last lady being a witch. I giggled. All the members sat down in their designated chairs. I started on hobi and I was so focused on trying to do a good job I hadn’t realized how much time had passed. “ boys it’s time” jinyoung came into the room. I rushed to finish the last bit on hobi. He thanked me and they ran out the door. The artist started packing up there things. “ I couldn’t help but notice how much jk was looking at you y/n” one of the ladies. I blushed. We walked out and into the practice room. We had to be ready to fix any minor makeup smudges or hairs that fell out of place. “ hey y/n! Do you have an oil blotting sheet? I’m starting to sweat a little much” Hobi ran to me. I took them out and patted his face lightly and re-applied the setting powder. “ my turn” I heard a voice say behind me. I turned around and jungkook was standing right there. “he said he wanted to get it done like his hyung” his makeup artist yelled and turned to the other ladies and started whispering to them. I nodded my head and did the same thing to jungkook. “ so how does ramen sound for after this?” He asked. “ ummm I don’t know if I can go out with the artist” I said. He bent down and whispered in my ear “ then let’s keep it a secret.” He ran back to the members and they started recording again. I hid behind the other artist for the rest of the recording. Once it was finished we were all allowed to head home. I grabbed my things and started heading towards the door. That’s when I realized I didn’t know my way out. I turned to walk towards the left to walk out “elevators the other way” jungkook was standing by the door. I nodded and started walking the other way until I was met with another turn. “Just follow me” he said. I walked behind him until we got to the elevator. “ you called a cab to take you home right? You can’t walk out this late at night. It’s dangerous for a pretty girl like you to walk out alone” he stated. I shook my head and pulled my phone out to call one. “ don’t worry. I can take you home but i do want to make a pit stop somewhere.” He said. I looked up at him “ I don’t want you to get in trouble” I told him. He giggled and shook his head. “ I’ve done much worse.” He walked out of the elevator and I followed behind. We walked out to his car and he opened the door for me. He got into the drivers seat and passed me his phone “ aux is all yours”. I just shook my head and handed the phone back to him. “ you don’t talk much huh?” He looked over. “ I just don’t talk to strangers much” I said. “ well I guess that’s gonna change tonight” he smiled.

사실, 방탄소년단의 정국이 가장 좋아하는 음요입니다.

Banana milk is a popular drink in Korea. In fact, it's the favourite drink of Jungkook from BTS.

지금은 한국어를 배우고 있으며, 가능한 한 문화와 상호 작용하려고 노력하고 입니다. 그래서, 다섯 가지 재료만으로, 바나나 우유를 만들었습니다!

Now I'm learning Korean, I'm also trying to interact with Korean culture as much as possible. Therefore, I'm making banana milk with only 5 ingredients.

사실 우유를 싫어해서 대신 콘월의 클로티드 크림을 사용에서요. 모든 종료의 해비 코림으로 대신 할 수입니다. 그런, 다음 원하는대로 희석 할 수 입니다.

이 바나나 우유는 스무디 니 밀크쉐크보다 얇니다. 그것은 맛을 낸 우유와 비슷합니다.

I actually don't like milk, so I used Cornish clotted cream instead. You can substitute it with any kind of heavy cream. Then, you can dilute it as you wish.

This banana milk is thinner than a milkshake or smoothie. It's more like a flavoured milk.

재료 - ingredients

바나나 - banana

코림 - cream

물 - water

설탕 - sugar

바닐라 추출물 - vanilla extract

간단이 말하면, 믹서기에서 모든 재료를 함께 섞기만 하면 됩니다. 여, 알아요. 이것은 실제로 적절한 레시피가 안입니다. 시간이 많이 않았지만, 여전히 공유하고 싶습니다.

To put it simply, you just mix all ingredients together in a blender. Yeah, I know. This is not really a proper recipe. (롤.) I haven't had much time, but I still wanted to share it.

어느 적이든, 가끔 섞을 필요가 있어도, 맛있었습니다!

Either way, even though it needs mixing occasionally, it was delicious!
