#1. 아빠는 제법 취미생활에 만족하시는듯하다. 꼭두 새벽 일어나 밭보러 가시는거 보면 무료함에 활력도 찾으신듯 하고 신경쓰이는 재미를 찾으신것 같다. 아빠의 채소 자랑이 새삼 좋다.

#2. 어쨌든 나는 워커홀릭은 아니다. 근데 나몰라라도 못하겠고 내 머릿속은 ‘아 어쩌라구 몰랑~’ 하여간 욕심도 없고, 다행인지 뭔지 비참한 선민의식 따위도 없다. 근데 마음이 여려질때마다 내가 싫다.

#3. 엄마는 내가 태어나길 원래 예민하고 까탈스러웠다며 그냥 받아들이고 살란다. 가끔은 나도 내 감정선이 어렵다. 표현하는것 보다 담아두는게 아직은 쉽지만 이게 다 내가 착한척만 잘해서 인것 같다. 마음을 그대로 오픈 시킨다면 가끔 난 징징이 욕쟁이 일지도 모르겠다. 😑 나중에 결혼하면 내 일기장을 남편에게만은 보여주고 싶은데, 인성 터진 내 마음의 소리도 잘 이해해주는 사람이었으면 좋겠다.

I think it’s so cute and clever how in Korea, they change the name of Spongebob characters and Squidward’s name is 징징이.

Cuz 징 from 오징어 (squid) and 징징거리다 means to whine (+complain) about something lollll

싱가폴로 이사 온지 일 년이 넘었다.

궁금한게 많아 항상 새로운 것에 발은 들이지만, 겁 없이 도전하기에는 한 없는 유리멘탈이라 걱정근심스트레스에 밤 낮 울어가며 본인의 선택에 발을 동동 구르는 나. 옆에서 내 징징을 받아주며 앞으로 밀어주는 가족/친구들 없이는 가능하지 않았을 올해다. 어쩌면 안정적이었던 제일기획을 그만두고, 외국에서 공부를 하고, 외국에서 취업을 해 얼떨결에 삶의 터전을 바꾼 것은 - 내 인생에서 가장 잘 한 선택들 중 하나인 것 같다. 인스타만 보면 네가 젤 행복하다고 할 때 마다 - 야 바쁘고 사무실에서 울고 있을 때 인스타를 하진 않잖니 하며 맨날 나도 힘들다고 죽겠다고 울상을 했지만 - 생각하면 이 모든 징징이 사치일 정도로, 힘겹긴 했지만 행복했던 올 해였다.

so I have a couple Korean friends that I play Overwatch with and I invited one of them to a group I was in last night right? his username is 징징이 and the first time I said his username everyone was so shocked. he was like "wait you speak Korean?" because his English isn't very good and my friends were like "how the FUCK do you read that" and idk it's been so humorous to me all day.

also if you see 징징이 while you're playing and you speak Korean (or you can try in English lol) tell him TinyFairy says hi uwu

문득.

내가 정말 싫어하는 여자와의 섹스는 어떨까? 라는 생각이 들었다.

보통, 남녀를 떠나 원나잇이든 무엇이든 섹스라는 행위는 최소한의 감정이 있어야 가능한 것 아니겠는가? 아, 매매의 경우 또 달라질 수 있겠지만, 그 경우는 논외로 치고 말이다.

나는 직장 생활, 인간관계에서 무논리로 인하여 사사건건 의견이 맞지 않았든, 사고방식이 마음에 들지 않았든, 내가 혐오해 마지 않는 징징이 라던가, 답정너, 여왕벌로 분류 될 수 있는 그런 여성, 아니 사람들을 싫어한다.

사람을 존중치 못하고, 예의와 배려를 모르며 이기적이며, 자존감이 0에 가깝거나 그 낮은 자존감으로 자존심을 부리는 여성, 아니 사람을 싫어한다.

나라는 사람은 호불호가 확실한 사람이기에, 분명 내가 싫어하는 여자에 대하여 그 싫어하는 이유에 매우 합당하는 만큼의 불호를 보이기 때문에, 상대방도 나를 싫어할 터이니 섹스가 성립되기 힘들겠지만.

만약, 최소한 내가 꼴릴 수 있는 정도, 상대가 젖을 수 있을 정도의 상황에서 섹스가 일어난다면?

말이 아닌 몸으로 대화를 나누고 교감을 이루면, 의외로 갑작스럽게 서로를 이해하게 되거나, 호감이 있었던 상대와는 또 다른 의미와 색깔의 호감이 형성될 수도 있지 않을까 라는 생각이 들었다.

왜냐면, 눈과 귀 만으로 사람을 대한 것과 눈과 귀, 혀와 손가락, 다리와 팔, 몸과 성기로 사람을 대해보면, 다를 수 있을 것이라는 생각이 스쳤기 때문이다. 실제로 호감이 있었던 사람과의 섹스가 비호감을 부를 때가 있으니.

그 반대도 있지 않겠는가.

그런일이 인생에서 벌어져 봐야 얼마나 벌어지겠냐만 말이다.

I’d have to think about it a while, but here’s a few words off the top of my head that I really like. Most of them are pure Korean because pure Korean has great consonant combos.

뻘겋게 (red) I love how harsh this sounds. And the whole thing where you can change the vowels in certain adjectives to make them sound more light/harsh. Korean is too fun. Also any word with ㅃ is satisfying to me, so. 뻘겋다 is a big fave.

깡충깡충 (bounce) This is just a really solid 의태어. It feels good in your mouth to say. It sounds bouncy. 

홀로 (alone) Firstly, I love double ㄹ. The way double ㄹ sounds is so beautiful to my ear. Secondly, I feel like the word 홀로 actually sounds like what it means, somehow. It sounds lonely. It’s a great word. 

천지 (the world) I love ㅈ and ㅊ sounds, so when they’re in the same word it’s always a plus. Even better is 신천지. For some reason this word sounds delicious to me. Idk how this word is pronounced in Chinese but it probably sounds even better.

촉촉 (moist) This one is pretty self-explanatory. ㅊ sounds. Sounds like what it means. Great.

뺨 (cheek) Arguable the cutest word in Korean, and cheeks are cute, so that’s a win.

떡국 (rice cake soup) I don’t know I just like when double ㄱ come after double ㄷ or vice-versa. And 떡국 is delicious. 

뻘뻘 Favorite 의태어. I’ve only seen it used in relation to sweat dripping down one’s face. I don’t know if it has many other uses. It’s beautiful. I can’t say it without immediately picture sweat pouring. It paints the picture.

궁뎅이 (butt) English has some cute words for butt, but none are as good as 궁뎅이

친구 (friend) I know 친구 is super korean101 but it’s a great sounding word and can be used more widely than the english friend in some ways. Like referring to people as 그 친구. I like to stick 친구 after everything. At the zoo, the giraffe is Tall 친구. The cheetah is fast 친구. The warthogs are lazy 친구. I love abusing 친구. 

괜히 (in vain, for nothing) In English there’s a few expressions that mean 괜히, but they’re all 2+ words and some are more common than others and it’s based on context. 괜히 is just simple and pretty and great.

징징 (whining) 징징이 has been my nickname for some time, originally given to me by a teacher 4 years ago, now used constantly by my boyfriend. It’s cause I complain and whine a lot. I like using it to mock people when they complain, 징징징징징 kind of like blah blah blah but specifically for complaining. Good word. 

뻥 (lie) it’s just cute. even better is 뻥쟁이.
