oh I have a really good one for this. Je l'aime à mourir is a French song originally written by Francis Cabrel (my favorite French singer-songwriter) in 1979, and it's one of the most beautiful love songs I've ever heard. It was later on translated to Spanish by Luis Gómez-Escolar (and sung by Cabrel himself), under the name La quiero a morir, and both versions are incredibly beautiful. I have a slight preference for the original French one, but they are so ravishing and one of my favorite exercises in translation ever. Shakira famously sang both versions in Paris, it was a Moment™.
