ive seen a lot of posts abt being comfy sharing and like- why do they all feel so incredibly- guilt-trippy .

like they make me personally feel bad because "oh you are uncomfy sharing and that is just unfair for others who ship with the same character as you. you do not own that character"

idk man like my f/os are my comfort source- i have a bond with those characters and these posts make me wonder why it shouldn’t be okay to have this bond-…? like ofc i don’t own them, but why . shouldn’t it be okay for my own comfort to say "hey, please dni if you ship with them."

i respect ships, even if it’s with my f/os ofc- but yk-..?

this is a . pretty much "dangerous" ( ?? (kinda .) ) hot take but like . i do think that selfshippers should be petty about their ships . like not in a rude way ofc but like- i feel like it should be okay to say 'i know [character name] best" or "they love me most" . like idk for me personally sometimes it’s a huge comfort boost? and if someone doesn’t wanna hear said things they can unfollow ( or block even ) .

this is mostly directed at people who are uncomfy sharing tbh . but like especially this whole- talk abt ppl being uncomfy sharing and them NOT being 'allowed' to say that (allowed as in 'it is not okay if they say it') is still very much in my head cuz i don’t understand why and how it possibly could harm . anyone if someone says that as long as they’re polite abt it

conclusion of this is that it should be okay for anyone to say things like that . please be petty abt ur ships . ur f/os love u the most , like they truly do mwah
