You should hold your idols accountable and not put them on a pedestal. There is so much they don't show us that remains behind a camera. You don't get to tell people how to feel.

Listen, I've been listening to K-pop for over 14 years now. And trust me, there's probably not one fan who's as suspicious of idols as I am, not just because I've been a fan of multiple groups, but also because I have been working for a company that majorly deals with the Hallyu industry for 6 years now, and that has made me distrustful of each and every idol.

Yes, you might find me simping over xyz idol, but I tend to differentiate between the idol on stage or in front of the camera and the person they are off stage. I know more than you do that each and every idol has a persona and goes through image training to show the best version of themselves to their fans. Never once have I put them on a pedestal and treated them as something they're not. Because they're humans, and that's exactly how I'm going to treat them. And as for me "holding my idols accountable", when it comes to that, you'll always see me in the front row of that crowd.

I never said people don't have the right to feel what they feel about this situation. They have the right to be upset with him or distance themselves from any and all media pertaining to Mingi. But what they don't have is the right to be extremely harsh with their words towards him and say things like, "I hope he's reading all the hate he's getting because he deserves it".

Considering I've not negated anyone's feelings on this matter, or asked someone to forgive him immediately, I expect them to give me the same consideration.
