What about ky got sick or injured (you can decide) and s/o takes care of him?
Ky being taken care of by his s/o.
(with great reluctance pFFT)
FEATURES: ky luc
CW: none
WC: 700
NOTES: he's so precious (╥╯^╰╥)
there's no helping it, having to almost chase him around the house and forcibly drag him back to bed every time you catch him trying to sneak off again.
you try to assure him each and every time it's fine, you'll see to it that everything that needs to be done is done, and that he can rest easy knowing this isn't that much of an inconvenience because it's just a few days. If things go well and he stops trying to get out of bed, you'll nurse him back to health in no time…though, it would be nice if he'd stop whining.
it's not even irritating whining, or 'Can you get this for me' whining. You could do that for him in a heartbeat. It's the constant 'I don't need rest' whining. You're pretty sure if he tries to claw his way out of bed one more time you're going to have to tie him down. You get him back into bed once again, having found him hovering around what you were doing, and he's dizzy again, so you're gentle. The dizziness has subsided as of late, at least since he stumbled into your shared room from the couch trying to figure out where you were and how to get to you when he could barely keep his head straight.
you were fine with him suddenly appearing next to you after falling asleep on the couch the evening before, and with him being somewhat awkward in the way he was curled up and maybe a little tangled in the sheets. He'd told you about it the next morning, how he felt queasy all night and was so turned on his head he didn't know what the house looked like. You had set him up in your bed despite his stark rebellion, coming up with every excuse in the book not to let you take care of him. He didn't want to get you sick, he didn't want to take up all your time, he didn't want to inconvenience you.
you sensed there was more, though the many excuses he made likely played some part. You realised quickly that letting you take care of him would mean he'd have to let himself rely on you in a capacity, which right now this just wasn't something he was ready for. He never was very good at accepting that he couldn't do everything by himself, he needed to rely on others eventually. This was just pushing him too far out of his comfort zone.
still he does eventually accept the few hours of sleep you agreed to, letting you lay by his side and stroke his forehead. He didn't feel like he could eat, so you didn't force him, but you would be there by his side when he woke up and asked for water. His one condition was that he can't kick you out of the bed you share, and so you stay. You don't want to wake him, but with the TV already running when he fell asleep you don't feel as bad watching whatever he had on.
he finally seems peaceful that way, the lights out and curtains drawn so the room is dark, the TV on low just so it isn't too loud, and so he wasn't too bored. His breathing somewhat calming to your ears, as if he was giving in and taking a break at last. Even so you hesitate to leave. If he was to wake up while you step away for even just a moment he might think you felt obligated to go into a different room, he made it clear he really didn't want that.
you know immediately when he wakes up, thanks to the fact he wants to cuddle with you once you've gotten him some water to drink, not too much as he takes a few sips and sets it down on the nightstand for later. It's not exactly an ideal situation, nor the best time to have him become clingy again, and even though he thinks he's being adorable and rewarding you well, he is quite suffocatingly warm.
you just can't bring yourself to push him off when he falls asleep again, his head resting on your chest.
