I'm adding the story of Cliff's absence at Reuben's birth under the cut because it happened so long ago and I feel like I need to explain.

So basically it was the game's fault. As you know, the game can get glitchy and even when we try to control it, it always seems to have a mind of its own.

When Saffron was in labour with Rue, I had Saffron go to the hospital and it prompted me to bring along other people and I chose Cliff. Now, mind you, she did ask Cliff to accompany her to the hospital using an interaction available through Pandasama's childbirth mod and he was like "Yeah, DUH." Ok, maybe not those words exactly but you get the idea.

So Saff tells Cliff "baby's coming!" And loading screen loads, right? Guess who's not at the hospital? Guess who I now CAN'T invite to the hospital because he's not even an option when I try to invite people to the lot. Meanwhile, Saffron is over here doing her breathing and taking another 9 months to dilate and deliver. So, because the game wouldn't let me bring Cliff, I had her invite her mom, Madeleine, instead.

So when the game does things like this I try to work it in my story in some way. At the time, I said that Pearl showed up and dropped off the kids unannounced. She said she had an "emergency" and I guess we'll never really know whether that was true or not. Cliff wasn't expecting to have his 7- and 3-year old with him for a few more days as per their custody agreement. Flustered and overwhelmed, he considered taking them with him to the hospital but, in the end, he knew it would only make an already stressful situation more stressful.

Did he regret that decision? As he says in the post above, absolutely. Everyday of his life. The man's two biggest regrets in his life: missing Reuben's birth and not being honest with Saffron from the beginning of their relationship.

I really don't think the Scream fandom knows what an incel is.

I've seen tons of people call Ethan an incel, but he's not. How was he an incel? Because he was supposedly a virgin? (Which I don't entirely believe because it made no sense for him to say that given he thought he'd survive, so I think that was likely for the bit. But maybe he was a virgin, Idfk.) Because he said he wanted to fuck Tara? Neither of those things make someone an incel.

I've seen people call Billy and Stu incels. How? They both pulled bitches, to our knowledge. Stu pulled Tatum, ffs, that boy was not an incel! They were misogynistic, sure, but they were also suburban small town boys in the 1990's!

Charlie could qualify as an incel. He and Jill are the closest we have so far to incel & femcel Ghostfaces, especially given their motives.
