I can't be the only one here who thinks it's unfair to allow kittypets on this site. Posting pictures of themselves and their mates inside of the twolegplace, influencing the young kits on this site to abandon their Clans... surely everyone else sees the problem with this as well.

This is Clanblr, not "Kittypetblr". This was specifically made as a space for Clan cats to connect, not for kittypets to push their lifestyle on us.

They're going to convince our kits to abandon their home and their belief in StarClan just for a more secure life.

The recent drama surrounding Kipper the Kittypet is sad and I hate that he's being bashed just for existing, but it's also incredibly stupid. I believe the cat who wrote the original post said something like, "it's CLANblr, not KITTYPETblr," and then something about belief in StarClan and I just... do you even realize how many Clanblr mods are non-Clan and/or don't believe in StarClan?

To name a few, @s-t-a-r-burning is former WindClan now rogue & openly an atheist, @theshadowhaseyes has been a kittypet his whole life, and @ssuunnrraayy-p has made zir entire blog about how ze travels from one Clan to another & doesnt consider zimself a Clan cat. Those are all mods. "It's clanblr no-" shut up. Just shut up.

I think a lot of cats put way too much emphasis on the parts of the warrior code that dont matter, and forget the parts that do, like "feed elders and kits first" and "never neglect a kit in pain or danger"... I feel like those are significantly more important than "a warrior rejects the soft life of a kittypet," but maybe that's just me.

I feel like we don't talk enough about how SkyClan got chased out of their own territory during a time of crisis rather than all of the Clans trying to make room for everyone...

I mean, seriously. I know it's taught to all SkyClan apprentices, but I've talked to some of my friends from other Clans and they just. Didn't know that. They were never taught that the other Clans allowed SkyClan to be chased out due to territory loss.

"Percy" you whisper while poking the boys shoulder. He stirred and sat up, rubbing his tired eyes softly "what, y/n?" He mumbles

"Can you teach me how to swim" he gave you a glare, that really couldn't wait til his dream was over?

"Teach you how to sw- your the daughter/son of posiden....and dont know, how to swim?"

"No, now get up and ill meet you at the lake" you say while walking out of the cabin. He grumbled and even considered ignoring you and going back to his spider man dream.

He sleepily got up and changed into his swimwear. He snook through camp to the lake you were at.

He whined as he walked into the cold water, moonlight glistening off the surface.

"Okay, well, you gonna go deeper or are you gonna stay knee deep?" He would ask you as he walked forward.

He held you up when you guys got a bit deeper. He would admit that he had no clue what he was doing when it came to teaching you how to swim but he would try. "Okay umm, kick you legs. Like, kick the water away from your feet"

Once you got the hang of that, he moved onto the next step

"Kay, good. Now try that with your arms" you did that and he felt some of your weight be supported by you instead of his hand on your waist.

He made the dumb decision to let go and you dipped under the surface. He quickly pulled you back up while you coughed out some water

"Sorry thats my bad" he said to you softly, even when you called him an a**hole for letting go

After some time of your cussing after he let go, and you choking on water, and your eyes burning, you finally held yourself up in the water.

Percy hyped you up, even though you were struggling to keep your head up. "Now lean forward. Push the water behind you"

You did that, and after almost going under again, you swam a few feet. You gasped and smiled at percy

And after almost drowning several times, you got the hang of it.

"Now lets go under, even though you have several times." You immediately refused to do this. But percy talked you into it

You held your breath, percy didn't since he could breathe under the water

Percy stayed close to you in case you panicked. You held your eyes shut. Percy tapped your shoulder so you'd open them. You did and blinked a few times.

You then tried to swim back up for air, but Percy didn't help you. You groaned to get him to help you but then he spoke

"Just breathe, dude!"

You looked at him funny when he said that, despite being underwater. Eventually you took a breath. Very confused

"Y/n, we're kids of posiden. You can breathe under the water."

And now with the time being 3 in the morning, you and percy had to sneak back to your cabin. Dripping water all over the floor.

You both dried up the water quickly and then went to bed.

"Hey percy, you awake still?"

"......yeah"

"...thanks, for helping me"

"Anytime bro/sis"

There are things within the system that I do not want to address, that I turn a blind eye to, and never quite know if they are true or not. I fear that if I do ‘look’, so to speak, they will be. But, I believe the choice of remaining willfully ignorant and leaving certain things to a Schrödinger's box ideal is in danger of leaving my hands— not that it ever was in my hands, if how I have believed in the back of my mind where, what, when, and how somethings may or may not have come to pass, or could in the future.

Now I have the dilemma of if I look and meddle, if I try to tip it more in my favor, to something more to my liking. Or, just something I could stomach more. I find myself hesitant to do so.

I cannot tell if I am clinging still to the idea that if I just do not pay certain thoughts, flashes, ‘ideas’, any attention then they will never go anywhere. But, that is rarely ever the case and, when it is, most often it does not remain that way if it is re-occurring.

I want to talk about it too, but that hesitation holds me back. Perhaps I am afraid, as well. Afraid of several things. It becoming real, realizing it already was real and I just deluded myself into believing it was not— which would mean I purposefully ignored all evidence and clues it was real, or a great possibility if other things specifically happened—, being judged, being believed to have made it up or that it is ‘convenient’. Things of that nature.

But, seeing as I am talking about it here, I know myself well enough that I know I am working up to talking about it to someone I trust. I am just unsure when that will be. Perhaps tomorrow, or in a week. Maybe a month. I doubt a month, but that is at most the maximum I think I would sit on it after addressing it here.

Regardless, it has kept me awake tonight with feelings of anxiety. I am also cold, especially my feet.
