if todo is serious or not, norotoshi has no clue. whether or not the other was joking, noritoshi almost rolls closed eyes, moments away from calling the other out on it only to change his mind as wry smile graces his lips. “ well, how kind of you. ”

Hi 👋
Can u write Yuta, Gojo, Kokichi, and Noritoshi (the student) with a fem s/o who's very calm, quiet, and scary in public bcz of their scars and muscular body but when they are alone she's very sweet and shy :)
Make it fluff, and it's up to you if u wanna make it headcanons or whatever :)
Tumblr media
Sypnosis - How would these boys fare with an S/O who doesn't look the most approachable at times?
Includes - Yuuta Okkotsu, Satoru Gojo, Kokichi Muta, Noritoshi Kamo
Warning(s) - none besides mention of scarring on Reader
! PIECE BEGINS UNDERNEATH THE CUT !
Tumblr media
You were not exactly known to have a friendly face or an approachable person – avoided by many in most social settings thanks to the deep furrow of your brow and the frown that curls the corners of your mouth downward. Though you could be doing something as simple as thinking about what to prepare for dinner that night, your exterior displayed a deep anger for any and all that surrounded you.
You had built up walls that were borderline impenetrable … that is … until he steps into your life.
Tumblr media
YUUTA OKKOTSU
Like many, at first, Yuuta was intimidated by you. You carried yourself in such a way that made it seem as if you were uninterested in everyone around you – which included him when he first transferred to Jujutsu Tech.
Even Gojo seemed hesitant to introduce you, gesturing to you quickly with a wave of his hand before doing his absolute best to change the subject without it being noticed by you, Yuuta, or any of the other second-years.
One of the first things that Yuuta notices about you is the thin scars that line your arms, little stories of the missions that you had been on and reminders of the curses that you had defeated.
In truth, your appearance only adds to the mysterious, intimidating persona that you seemed to have adopted — one that deeply scared others and continuously drove them away from you.
Initially, it seems like the only person that you tolerate is Maki, considering that she’s the only one that you show a sliver of emotion to. She’s the only one that you offer a soft smile to, the only one that you regard without that sharpened ice in your voice, the only one that you really showed that you were … well … human.
The other second-years had your favor as well; Yuuta quite enjoyed watching you train with Panda or playfully argue with Inumaki. He just wished that he had the courage to do what they did — which essentially was just talking to you.
It’s only really with Panda’s pushing that Yuuta eventually builds up enough courage to approach you, hesitantly asking if you’d wanted to spar with him (Maki was preoccupied with Inumaki). Shockingly, you smiled softly at him and accepted.
The rest was, quite literally, history.
Little by little, Yuuta makes his way over the walls that you had built up around your heart, soft eyes and gentle smile worming its way into your life without any intent of ever leaving.
He begins to realize that the way you acted with him was a complete 180 to how you acted around others. You regarded him with a soft tone, you touched him with gentle palms, you cooed sweet praises to him and hugged him tightly on those cold nights.
You may be a force to be reckoned with out on the field, but to Yuuta? You were the soft-spoken girl that he devoted his entire heart to.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
SATORU GOJO
At first, Gojo doesn’t want to think that he finds you intimidating. He tries to be nonchalant when he sees you standing beside Nanami, but you don’t miss the way that his eyes flicker around the room — desperately trying to look anywhere but where you stand.
His gaze is drawn to your scars almost immediately, slightly impressed at the fact that you do very little to hide them. In any other case, he would say that you were proud of them (at least, that’s what he thought).
But, ever the confident man, Gojo does eventually decide to approach you (literally the second that Nanami leaves the room). He tries to crack a joke or two, hoping that you would break and that maybe you would crack a smile. You don’t … and he physically deflates.
That does very little to actually deter him though. Actually, he makes it his personal mission to make his way over the walls that you’ve so obviously put up around your heart. While everyone else would find his actions downright annoying, you find them oddly endearing.
It’s rare that someone takes such an interest in you, considering that the aura you radiated was really anything but initially friendly. To see Gojo try so hard to capture your attention … well, it only makes you that much more interested in just why he was so dead set on you.
Eventually, Gojo finally finds it in himself to properly ask you out — in his very own Satoru Gojo way. A bouquet of overpriced roses, a night at a resturant with pricing that could probably pay your mortgage, and a sweet walk that ended with Gojo hopelessly devoting himself to you.
He adores the change in your personality — how you can easily switch from sternly speaking to your students to mumbling to him as if he were the only thing in your world that mattered.
But that doesn’t mean that he doesn’t also love the firm persona you take on when you’re, for example, out for a day together.
He adores you … always and forever.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
KOKICHI MUTA
Unlike the others, Kokichi isn’t immediately put off by your appearance. If anything, he’s intrigued by it. In a way, you remind him of himself; kept to yourself and separated from others — it makes him want to interact with you right at that moment.
He won’t ever admit it to your face, but the first time that he did end up speaking to you, he was quite literally shaking under your gaze. You were just so damn assertive.
At first, you come off as very bothered by Kokichi – but he quickly learns that it's the complete opposite. Just because you were this scarred, unapproachable individual didn't make you any less human than Kokichi himself.
Slowly but surely, he makes his way over those walls that you had built up around your heart, opening you up and revealing that softened persona that lay hidden underneath it all. The sweet-eyed, soft-spoken girl who really wanted nothing more than to love and be loved in return.
Upon coming to that realization, Kokichi finds himself gentler with you – just like you were with him. His words are soft-spoken and truthful, his actions performed out of the kindness of his heart rather than if the situation called for it.
All in all, Kokichi feels a sense of protectiveness over you once you finally open yourself up to him. You were being vulnerable with him in a way that you simply weren't around others. And he was going to protect that vulnerability, no matter what it took.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
NORITOSHI KAMO
Out of all the previously mentioned characters, Noritoshi is the one who minds the least about your appearance. If anything, he finds himself relating to you — considering that many don’t approach him as well for various reasons.
And so because of that, he approaches you with as much confidence as he could muster, striking up a conversation with you and regarding you just as softly and respectfully as he would anyone else.
You’re caught off guard by him at first, though slowly but surely, you and Noritoshi constantly seek the other out.
He admires your ability to switch between being stoic and cold to soft and sweet. How around others you wore an expression as cold as the harshest winter, but the moment that you heard the lull of his voice, you were turning to him with a gentle smile.
Noritoshi admires your scars actually, spending many nights just laying at your side with his fingertips dragging over the raised skin. He’ll hum a quiet song for the both of you, holding you and simply moving his fingers along your arm or leg.
Another thing that Noritoshi adores about you is the way you whisper to him during your time spent together — how you lower and soften your voice when speaking to him. He smiles gently at you when he notices, then holding your face and decorating your face with little kisses.
He doesn't mind your switch from soft to stoic, he knows that it's just what you're used to and it's become the norm for you. To him, you're still his lover, his absolute everything -- no matter what persona you decide to put on for the day.

teen!megumi ★ megumi can't help being jealous when he sees you talking to noritoshi kamo.
Tumblr media
With the Kyoto Sister School Goodwill Event and the return of Itadori Yuji, Megumi hardly had time to talk to you. Not to mention the fact that he had hardly seen you since your third year had been suspended and the elders had taken the opportunity to fill you up with missions all over Japan. However, since it was the Goodwill Event, you were able to free yourself from the day's missions to accompany and help with whatever was needed ⸻ even though your students couldn't participate in this year's event.
And Megumi hoped to find you before the first activity of the day. Maybe you were walking around or helping to prepare something for the day's event, or maybe you were accompanied by Shoko, your best friend, or even Utahime, your senpai, whom you didn't see so often because of the distance. Or maybe Gojo had already found you and stuck to you like a magnet. The only thing Megumi hadn't expected was to see you accompanied by Noritoshi Kamo.
And he certainly didn't expect to feel a tightening in his chest when he saw the two of you interacting.
You and Noritoshi were from the same clan, the same family. You had similar abilities and maybe even more in common than just blood and lineage. Noritoshi had more in common with you than Megumi ever would and that bothered him.
Fushiguro didn't know why it bothered him to see you next to Noritoshi, he didn't know why your gentle smile towards the other Kamo affected him as much as it did at that moment. He had never felt that way before and he certainly didn't want to feel that tightness in his chest again so soon.
He watched as Noritoshi bowed to you with a slight smile on his face and went on his way, leaving you alone to go back on your way.
"Megumi." You smiled in his direction and moved closer to give him a firm hug. "I know you moved into the dorm, but that doesn't stop you from going home. You know that, don't you?"
Home.
As a child, Megumi didn't believe that he would one day feel comfortable enough to call a place home until he was taken into your arms. In a way, he understood why Gojo had fought tirelessly to win you over. You were like a saint sent to earth to help lost and desolate souls ⸻ and Megumi and Gojo were no exception to those lost souls. Perhaps the only thing that distinguished you from Megumi's biological mother was blood, but blood isn't always what defines a real family. And by what he considered a miracle, Megumi had found a family. Together with Tsumiki, you (and Gojo) were his family.
"Gumi..." You put your hands on his shoulders and looked worriedly at the boy in front of you, "Are you okay? Are you alright?"
"Can we have ice cream when this is all over?"
"Of course we can. We can go to that ice cream parlor that sells handcrafted ice cream!" You smiled excitedly, "But first you have to win an event." You hugged Megumi tightly and the boy returned the gesture with the same intensity. "But remember, no matter what the result, you will always make me proud!"
"Thanks, Mom." Megumi broke off the hug and smiled weakly in your direction.
Maybe Megumi didn't have to worry about Noritoshi Kamo and even less about the bad feeling he got when he saw the two of you. After all, it was Megumi Fushiguro who was your greatest pride.

jjk tags and fags - translator assigned genders / fandom assigned genders
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The people who translate this manga and anime just can't fucking help themselves with constantly assigning genders to characters.
Yuuji is not gendering Uraume in any way in what he says in the manga:
Tumblr media
And he says the exact same thing in the anime: Ore dake hyoyketsu ga amakatta Sukuna kanren dana. That roughly translates to: The ice around me was half-hearted likely due to the connection with Sukuna.
He doesn't mention Uraume by name, which is very typical in Japanese which is a very context reliant language. But in the context it is clear that he is referring to Uraume's connection to Sukuna.
Uraume's gender is ambiguous on purpose, Gege is very deliberate in this.
Uraume of course isn't the only one.
______________________________________________
Other characters and their tags and fags.
Kenjaku
People who know them closely, like Tengen, always refer to them without gendering them. Sometimes the people who don't know them well gender them according to presentation like Takaba, or like Chousou who heavily associates Kenjaku with Noritoshi Kamo. And also those who think Kenjaku is Getou.
The fandom is super bad about Kenjaku, people insist on calling them he/him and making really homophobic and transphobic comments regarding their motherhood. Or the Getou fans just erase Kenajku and pretend that everything Kenjaku does is actually Getou...
_______
Tengen
She literally in open text says how she wants to be gendered. People use the preface where she says that technically as a cursed spirit she doesn't have a gender to pretend the next line doesn't matter. When the opposite is actually true. Even if Tengen could decide to forego having a gender after her evolution, she says nah, grandma, don't call me a guy. And then proceeds to indulge in masc presentation, Queen!
I personally get more annoyed when people use they/them for Tengen than he/him. The he/him people usually just read casually and remember all the times the translators called Tengen master and they haven't really paid that much attention to her scene with Yuki. But I've seen people use they/them on purpose to ignore Tengen's words.
_______
Kashimo
Kashimo is never gendered by the other characters. They use the personal pronoun "ore", which is associated with men but not used by them exclusively. It is rather harsh sounding pronoun, and as @/cursedvibes says it fits Kashimo who speaks in a crude and masculine way. Kashimo's modern day presentation isn't very gendered looks wise though.
But presentation =/= gender. Regardless if it's looks or speech.
Fandom will say well in the past life they looked like a guy and it's just rude to assume based on that :/
Also even if, maybe new life new gender who knows.
If Gege was trying to obviously gender Kashimo the 3rd person pronouns were right there yet remained unused.
_______
Kirara
I've written about Kirara's pronouns before.
I read Kirara as a woman and I explain why in the post above. I don't mind non binary readings because it's really not super clear.
And I don't even have some huge issue with people calling Kirara a high femme boy, though I personally don't read her like that at all.
As long as it's done in a kind and not transphobic or homophobic way. But alas the fandom is there to disappoint quite often.
_______
Angel
I don't know how are people confused about her gender this far along. I didn't remember that her gender was revealed when she actually started interacting with the other characters because Tengen'd spoken about her many chapters earlier. But Angel is very clearly gendered as "she/her". And she's been in the story for many chapters now.

Obeisance to the Arrow - Noritoshi Kamo
#7 : Jealousy, Jealousy
[Who are you calling 'onii-chan'? And why does Noritoshi hate it so much?]
[tw: noritoshi kamo x reader, arranged marriage, forced marriage, child marriage, mentions of adultery, couple slurs ig, jealous and pissed noritoshi, reader gets a crush on a non-noritoshi entity, fluff]
#6 - Husbandly Duties #8 - Ice-Cream Date
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Noritoshi Kamo was nothing if not a responsible man. If he’s been given a wife to be responsible for, he’ll damn well make sure that he’s doing it properly. It doesn’t matter that the said wife is 14 years old. That’s why he’s already halfway through ‘Raising A Strong Teen Girl: Tips and Tricks for the Single Mother’ in the Kamo library, only two days after the wedding ceremony. Noritoshi Kamo, as we asserted earlier, takes his responsibilities seriously.
The family is still mad at him for agreeing to Gojo’s demands yesterday. But what’s done is done: you will be attending Jujutsu High. In a week, in fact. The best way to proceed, Noritoshi believed, was to arm you to do your best there.
You’re scrolling through Instagram when Noritoshi sits on the sofa next to you. Just as the book says, Rule 1: Always maintain a comfortable environment with your difficult teen. “Morning” He greets you. You ignore him. Fucking brat. “Alright then, I see you’re busy. I had some extra dango I wanted to share, but I can-”
“- I’ll have it.” Your attention is still on your phone, but at least you’re talking to him. The book’s working. Rule 2: Offer incentives for good behaviour.
“The dango comes after though. We have to talk about your schooling first.”
“UGH!” You look at him with such disgust in your eyes. It’s okay, Noritoshi, she just lacks proper communication skills. Remember, you're the older one. Be calm, be calm… “Fucking fine! What’s there to talk about?”
It must be noted here that this behaviour was reserved only for Noritoshi. With the servants you were kind. With the elders, you were polite and obedient to the bone, having been training to be so since childhood. And with the young Kamo kids, you were jolly friends.
You weren’t stupid though. Your relations with the above mentioned people were set in stone. With Noritoshi, you know, that the relationship you set when your marriage is still raw will set the tone of your relationship for the rest of your lives. If you were to behave with subservience now, he’ll expect you to lick his feet forever. No, now is the time to be difficult, to upset the power balance, to get the upper hand –
How the fuck did I get stuck here?
Noritoshi is droning on and on. You’ve lost track a good while ago. Ancient sorcery clans…past users of Distillation… respectable martial arts for nobility…Kamo heritage…proper curtsies…student discipline… Everything that Noritoshi deems important for you to know, he's making sure that you know it. He's even got the whiteboard out.
At least you can chew on the dango Noritoshi gave you. You simply nod along to whatever Noritoshi is saying, not hearing a word, happy to be given dango. From Noritoshi’s point of view, even though you’re not participating in his lessons, you’re still acting decently. Rule 3: Expect only minor behavioural improvements over time. You're not snappy; your husband is happy enough.
Or so he thought. Why then, is he watching you giggling and playing around with, of all people in the universe, his goddamn half-brother?
—-
Miyumi, the wife of Noritoshi’s father, never extended her open and visceral hatred of Noritoshi towards you. She’s been like a caring aunt to you all your life, helping you adjust to the Kamo household when you first stepped foot in there, letting you go without doing any chores, and supplying you with as much freedom as she could vouch for. Like most of the Kamo women, she pitied you too.
Of course, not a drop of that pity extended to Noritoshi. Not only was he constant proof of her husband’s adultery, he had also replaced her son, Kanato, as the rightful heir. Unlike most Kamo couples, Miyumi and Noritoshi’s father had actually married out of love. She had remained in love, devoted, beautiful, caring, high-status, respectful, obedient to him all her life, even bearing him a firstborn son– only to be replaced in one fell swoop. And by whom? A low-class non-sorcerer whore? With a dirty little kid simply because he could toss some blood around?
Miyumi couldn’t even bear the sight of Noritoshi.
She didn’t mind hearing you complain about him though. She liked it when you visited her chambers, she liked talking with you. After so many years, she knew that her hatred was pointless, but the inertia of the hate did carry her forward in this stifling household. As she poured you another cup of tea while you talked about Noritoshi’s newfound determination to be a (boring) teacher who only talked about martial arts without actually letting you practise it, Miyumi smiled and called for her son.
“He’s just back from Oxford for a week, he’s studying political history there. You haven’t met him, I suppose, little one?”
You shake your head. “I haven’t, Miyu-chan.”
Kanato’s heavy footsteps on the wooden flooring herald his arrival.
You remember this moment for the rest of your life. Kanato Kamo, your first ever crush. Tall, lean, angel-faced, short hair dyed blonde, wearing pearls on his neck and opals on his fingers, eyeliner on his thin eyes, and a piercing above his smiling lips. Why was he walking in slow-motion? Why did your heart jump when he petted your head? Why did his voice sound like rich dark chocolates when he asked you to call him ‘onii-chan?’ Why… why does his face look so much like Noritoshi?
Your husband, Noritoshi, and his half-brother, Kanato, both look exactly like their father. Even though Kanato is a thousand times cooler and he’s in college and he wears his yakuta like a prince and you call him ‘onii-chan’ and he says he’ll teach you how to spar hand-to-hand.
Miyumi is pleased that you two get along well. Kanato chuckles at his mother's adoration for you, promising with a wink to take great care of you. You think you almost swoon.
—-
For one, Noritoshi didn’t know that Kanato was back home. Two, he definitely didn’t know that Kanato was back home to fool around with his wife. Why then is he now watching you giggling and playing around with, of all the people in the universe, his goddamn half-brother?
“Kanato.” Noritoshi slides open the door to the training rooms. It’s pretty big, stored with various weapons, targets and dummies to practise with, and lined with a soft mattress to break falls. Noritoshi was just here to shoot some arrows when he chanced upon this scene. “I did not know that you were here.”
All three of you noted that Noritoshi called his elder half-brother by his name. Yes, Noritoshi did rank higher than Kanato, but he was still younger in age. So it’s like that, huh, Noritoshi?
“It’s a big house, Noritoshi-san. It’s hard to keep track of everyone.” Noritoshi watches as Kanato winks at you and you laugh again, a blush on your face. (“Everyone, including your young wife.”)  “I was just teaching my little sister here the basics of karate. Since she’s going to Jujutsu High and all.”
“I see.” Noritoshi’s voice is measured. For the first time, it clicks in your head that he might not be happy seeing you so comfortable with his half-brother. And for whatever reason, you actually feel a little bad about it. “I’ll finish her lessons today then, Kanato. Why don’t you go rest a bit? You'd need it, I presume.” It’s clear that there’s bad blood between the brothers. Both just toe the line between politeness and hostility.
“Presume less, little brother, you worry too much about me. I’m afraid I’ll have to finish her lessons myself, though.” Kanato grins wide. “Since she asked me to, herself.”
For a second, you think they’ll throw hands (they don’t). You’re starting to think that it isn’t even about you. They simply cannot stand each other. In that case, you choose to pipe up, “I think I’d like to retire actually, I’m tired. Thank you for the tutorial, onii-chan.” You smile at Kanato, who returns the smile, and turn to appease your husband. “Noritoshi-san, if you could help me to my chambers?”
“Of course.” Noritoshi gives you an arm. You wave Kanato good-bye as you walk down the long corridors to your room. As soon as you two are out of earshot, his words bite. “Antagonising me will get you nowhere.”
You get it, really. Kanato’s very existence ruffles all of Noritoshi’s feathers. And to see him get this questionably friendly with his wife… yeah, it’s best not to mention the crush at all. You decide that even though you haven’t done anything wrong per se, but it’s still hurtful to Noritoshi. All right then, you decide. I’ll humour him this one time.
So imagine his surprise when he actually hears you apologise. You've never been anything but rude or indifferent to him; to hear you say that you didn’t realise how your actions looked on the outside, and promise that you won’t be like that again! It genuinely shocks Noritoshi out of the sulky angry mood he’d slipped into. Rule 4: Always reward any good behaviour.
Noritoshi gets you two things: another plate of dango and a promise to teach you to spar himself. Maybe, you decide, cheeks full of sweet dango, it’s okay to be nice to Noritoshi, just now and then.
bonus:
“Noritoshi’s still being an ass, I see. Not a lot’s changed here.” Kanato is lazily scrounging through his mother’s collection of jewellery. Kanato likes the more minimalistic ones, a tad bit on the high-fashion hippie line. Miyumi is happy to oblige her son, despite his father’s disapproval. Not like he approves of Kanato in any way. Not since Noritoshi, the perfect son, exists. Besides, he’ll be back to England soon.
Miyumi’s eyes sharpen at his mention. “My god, did that brat do something to you again? I swear, I–”
“Whoa, mother, no.” Kanato, ever smiling, calms her down. “He was just super jealous that I was training with that kid. y/n. Honestly, mother, I think it was adorable. I just don’t like the way he speaks to me.”
“He has no manners. Do you know he goes out of his way to avoid me?” Miyumi sees her son pick up two lockets, one a Kamo family crest engraved on hard mahogany, another a pattern of ducks in emeralds and rubies. “Don’t bother choosing, take both.”
“You sure, mother? I’ll kidnap some of your earrings too.”
“Yes, yes, when do I even wear them? Just don’t get them rusted.”
Kanato smiles.

Hey I love your work and how you actually match up the headcannons to the character.❤️
I wonder how would Noritoshi,Gojo,Choso would train with they’re s/o other who’s a known special grade sorceress for her strength and clan she comes from.
How They Would Train with S/O
Fandom: Jujutsu Kaisen
Character(s): Choso, Gojo Satoru, Noritoshi Kamo
Note(s): This is such an interesting request to write, but I feel like I had to rewrite Noritoshi's because it was so difficult to figure out "how would he react" in this situation 😅 (his character is always an interesting one to write for)
Tumblr media
Choso
Well, he's very very new to all of this. The most training he has is based off of instincts and what feels right. So while actually training and understanding his abilities is a good thing to do with you, he still can't help being a bit hesitant because he doesn't want to hurt you.
Doesn't really know any of the families or clans so there's no special reactions from him when you mention your family/clan name.
He's just going to train with you like he would anyone. Might lighten his punches a bit because you are his S/O and he'd cry if he accidentally hurt you.
Gojo
Gojo definitely holds back (he is the strongest), but he also isn't going to go easy on you. You're from a special clan and are known as being a special grade? Yeah, no punches will be pulled (except the ones that would certainly kill you).
Seriously does not care about whatever clan you come from. That's not going to do a thing to make him treat you any differently. He's made it clear he doesn't care about higher ups or the different clans. You're special to him because you're you, doesn't care about your family name.
Which also leads to him knocking you on your ass quite a bit. And he does taunt you too when he wins. Maybe if he annoys you enough, you'll actually be able to hit him (or at least if he didn't have his infinity up then you'd be able to hit). Many training sessions do have you improving even if they are very frustrating with him. He'll get you ice cream or something afterwards.
Noritoshi
There's some hesitance on his part when it comes to training with you. You come from a big name clan so he is happy to train with you, but he also doesn't want to harm you during training.
The last thing he'd need is to be scolded or get in trouble with his own clan for giving bruises or harming a big name in another clan.
Honestly, probably wouldn't even want to train with you in the first place. Yes you're his S/O and he does want to see you become stronger, but he also doesn't want to harm you and jeopardize either of your positions in your respective clans.

Annoying. "I didn't know my personal affairs were the business of the Zen'in clan. Neither he nor I are promised to someone, so I don't see what concern it would be."

𝐓𝐔𝐓𝐄𝐄!𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐒𝐎 . . . wasn’t the brightest tool in the shed when it came to his language arts. he wasn’t normally a verbal guy, let alone learning how to use grammar and punctuation properly. normally, he wouldn’t mind going about his day with a 36% average in his class, but he’d realized that exam season was closing in on him and when exam season neared, the end of school did as well.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀asking for extra credit was definitely out of the question, his teachers already hating the man for his lack of focus in class. he spent numerous hours hovering over his computer as if he were some sort of discord mod, scrounging the internet for a tutor who would give him lessons out of the kindness of their heart. with no fees, of course. he was a university student after all, so money was no where close to being in his name.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀however, after mentioning his situation to his cousin Noritoshi, the kid had given the man your contact information after he had also been tutored by you and passed his exams with flying colors. to say Choso was anxious to contact you would be a complete understatement. it took for his brother Yuuji to hype him up in order for him to even send a simple “hi” text.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀it wasn’t that he was nervous to talk to you in particular. he just got nervous around women in general. he swore that they terrified him, let alone talking to one would send him into a cardiac arrest. yet, when he met up with you at the library he found himself warming up to you faster than he expected. it took a few pushes of you asking him the same questions until he alas answered, but once he realized you weren’t going to be letting down anytime soon, he stopped forcing himself.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀the first few sessions were simple ice breakers. you pestering him about his life and family; him barely being able to answer you, let alone look you in the eyes. the way he fidgeted with his thumbs at the hems of his textbooks, and how he shook his leg at a lightning pace made his uncomfortable aura all to radiant. yet, you were used to guys with his personality. it was common for them to “want” a tutor, or at least pretend to need one just to talk to a girl. choso wasn’t like them though, he could barely speak more than a murmur with you, so you knew that he was here for just the knowledge.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀or so you thought.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀because, the day he watched as you made your way into his dorm room with a cropped black tank top and a pair of puffy pink short shorts with your matching black boxer briefs rimming around your waist, he could feel the fabric of his joggers tighten by the millisecond. you noticed how he’d reverted back to his stammering and nerve-racking ways after spending weeks building up the courage just to speak a proper sentence to you. it was quite odd, you thought. yet, didn’t put much effort behind the inquiry, simply just disregarding it.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀never would you have thought that you’d be balls deep on his dick, curling your hips with every movement you made on him. your arms were wrapped loosely around his neck with your fingers delicately entwining with his thick locks in the back of his head. each time you lifted yourself just to drop back down, you rolled your waist and felt as choso utterly melted beneath you.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀the man had regressed into nothing more of a puddle beneath you. the noises that left his quivering lips had your stomach jumbling together like a paper ball that you’d pass around the classroom. his large hands rested on either side of your body, the skim of his nails delving into the flesh of your ass and causing you to bite down on your bottom lip. the entirety of the man’s focus was on your chest that was front and center in his face, watching attentively as they bounced with each action you made.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ his erection had filled you up entirely, the girth of it far bigger than you could’ve imagined. the veins that dragged along the sides, and bottom rummaged your juicy walls eagerly. your dripping cunt had sucked him in so smoothly you swore you could see stars the deeper he entered you. only halfway in and his throbbing tip that was already leaking in his pre-cum was rubbing your cervix. never would you have thought you’d be a gasping and groaning mess when taking in a guys dick so well. you also didn’t think choso would be the first student you’d hook up with, but there’s always a first.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀tears stained the man’s cheeks, his eyes coaxed in those same glossy reflection as he gazed up at you with nothing but pure admiration whirling within his chocolate irises.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “i-i-i’m sorry if i’m hurting you-”
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “shut up” stating simply, you pressed your swollen lips against his to suppress the moans you felt building up in your core.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀his upward thrusts that met you halfway left your already sore legs, jello-like. you pushed your body onto his more while pulling him closer, your stomachs almost touching with how aggressive your actions were.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ you were both close, choso’s thrusts becoming sloppier and your moans getting louder. soon enough he was full on crying through his orgasm while your eyes rolled back with your hands planted solidly against his bare chest. your mouth was open just a slither prior to laying your forehead against his shoulder, each of you heaving uncontrollably.

Ch. 1 - Black Dahlia Black Dahlia flowers often represent betrayal or sadness. AN: I wrote this after getting the character guide. I learned that the Zenin estate is in Kyoto after all, along with the Kamo estate. Oops. We're going with it anyway!
The glittering lights of the world's largest city unfolded in front of you as the sleek, black sedan that carried you sped down the Shuto Expressway. It had been a five and a half hour drive that you spent entirely silent in the backseat as your youngest uncle, Daisuke, drove you toward the outskirts of Tokyo toward the imposing Zenin estate. The skyscrapers sparkled as you drove on the highway, the early setting sun casting a glow on their windows as tiny February snowflakes fell to the city streets below.
You shifted in your seat, the knot of your obi restraining you tighter than your own seat belt. You hooked your thumb under the tight fabric to take a deep breath and ease some of your pain. You hated having to dress so formal -- ironic considering the conservative family you came from who prided themselves on lineage and tradition. You were the Kamo clan's jewel, the youngest daughter of the clan head. But as a woman, youngest aside, you had 'no right' to become the heir apparent; that role instead passed down to your 'bastard' half-brother, Noritoshi, though you'd never personally call him that. He'd inherited the prized cursed technique of your family, and you convinced yourself that your father's reasoning was right. So you ignored it and adored your youngest brother, the mama's boy. Besides, you had a much more important task at hand.
Daisuke looked in the rear-view mirror at you, his grip tightening on the steering wheel as he tried to analyze your facial expression while you busied yourself with studying the sparkling skyline. As your youngest uncle, who often carted you around as your attendant, you were close to him -- and those 'complications' from your 'task,' he knew all about. In fact, you saw Daisuke as more of a father, or brotherly, figure than your own father.
After such a long silence, the Zenin estate only a few minutes away as you drove away from the city, Daisuke finally broke it. "You alright, Y/N? It's been a long journey from Kyoto," his voice held deep concern. The windshield wipers of the car made a loud squeak as they dragged themselves across the too-dry glass, snow and salt still dirtying it as Daisuke sighed irritably and discharged the wiper fluid using the shifter near the steering wheel.
You turned your head slightly, meeting Daisuke's gaze in the mirror with cool composure. Swallow it down. That's what you knew best. "I'm fine, Uncle. Just contemplating the path ahead."
Daisuke nodded, acknowledging the weight of the situation. "Today, you'll be betrothed to another Zenin. You've a crucial role in...ensuring the continued influence of our clan," his tone hinted at your true task at hand, more than a measly arranged marriage. "And you know your father is...eager...to see his direction carried out promptly this time."
Your expression remained unchanged as you turned your attention back to the view outside, your eyes betrayed only a glimmer of detached determination. "I understand, Uncle. I'll play my part, and I won't fuck up...again," your voice was quiet as you tried to end the conversation quickly with your harsh, irritated tone.
"You know your role in this alliance is crucial, Y/N. The clan has invested much into this partnership with the Zenin and your abilities are our greatest asset," Daisuke focused back on the road, his voice laced with double meaning that you could easily decipher. His breathing briefly hitched as he hit a patch of black ice as the expressway you were once on turned into winding country roads.
A subtle smirk played on your lips, you felt your blood pressure starting to rise with irritation. "I'm well aware, Uncle. The Kamo clan's rise to power is at stake and I have no intention on letting us down."
Daisuke sighed, his gaze remaining fixed on the road ahead. "You've done well in the past, especially with...your late husband. But this time, try not to take seven years to finish the job. Our arrangement relies on their vulnerability and we've postponed the progression long enough."
Your eyes glinted with a cold determination as you saw the Zenin estate steadily coming into view, one of the last remaining shinden-zukuri style estates from the Heian era -- besides your own back in Kyoto. "Rest assured, Daisuke. I know what needs to be done. I've done it quite a few times before," you were throwing his first name around as if it were a threat. As close as you were, you were pestered he kept bringing up your circumstances as if you didn't know what you were doing.
Tumblr media
Daisuke pulled the car onto the brick driveway that curved toward the front gates to the Zenin estate. You waited in the back as he got out and opened the door for you, offering his hand to assist your movements. You did your best to gracefully exit the vehicle despite the tight skirt of your kimono, the slowly setting afternoon sun providing a warm backdrop to the otherwise solemn occasion for the reason of your arrival. You shivered as you felt the cold air at your wrists and ankles, feeling lucky for wearing a thick kimono for once.
He led you toward the imposing front gates, the two of you being greeted by a few attendants who then led you toward the main building where your father-in-law Zenin Naobito, the twenty-fifth head to the Zenin clan, awaited you.
"Make them believe you're mourning, Y/N," Daisuke whispered in your ear, slightly leaning down as two female attendants quietly led the way toward the center building. "But remember your duties."
With a nod, accompanied by your irritated expression, you entered the estate to find Naobito lounging informally on a zabuton. I don't need to pretend, you thought to yourself, I am in mourning.
Naobito was sucking down sake from an o-choko as if it were nothing before pouring himself another from a gourd. He leaned against the armrest to his zabuton, one leg curled inward with the other propped up, his elbow resting on his knee.
The attendants who had led you there silently closed the shoji doors behind you as you stepped toward Naobito, keeping a step behind your uncle. Considering you'd been dealing with the Zenin clan since you were a child, you knew all about their cold and conniving ways, particularly that of the misogynistic nature. You knew to keep your mouth shut and your head low, at least in front of a man like Naobito.
The main room of the estate was large, built of the sturdiest wood. The ceiling was held up with large wooden pillars throughout the room made of the same wood that planked the floors. You stood with your uncle on the large, raised platform in just your socks against the tatami mats. Naobito was sitting at the front of the room alone with attendants stationed at each of the doors in the room.
Daisuke took the first move, bowing respectfully to adhere to the formalities of clan politics. "Zenin-sama, I bring you Kamo Y/N. She comes to offer her condolences on the passing of your son and her late husband, Zenin Naohiro."
Naobito looked up from his lounging position, taking a prolonged sip from his next cup of sake, staring at the two of you with an air of indifference. His sharp eyes assessed you, and for a moment, you thought you saw a flicker of recognition that made your heart flutter nervously. However, it was quickly replaced by the cold mask that almost always defined him.
"Daisuke," Naobito greeted casually, setting his sake cup aside. "It's been some time. I trust the journey here was uneventful?"
"Indeed, it was. We're grateful for your hospitality over the next few days," he responded professionally, continuing to adhere to formalities despite Naobito's lack of interest.
Naobito nodded dismissively, his attention turning to you. His cold stare was almost enough to send a shiver down your spine. "Y/N, a pleasure to see you as well," he remarked with a slight smirk, not bothering to rise from his seated position.
You kept your eyes low, dipping into a respectful bow of your own. You did your best to maintain a somber expression as Daisuke introduced you more formally. "Zenin-sama, allow me to present once again, Kamo Y/N, youngest daughter of the twenty-fourth head to the Kamo clan."
Naobito studied you for a moment, his gaze piercing through the layers of your kimono and the stoicism you presented. "Pity about the circumstances that bring you here...again," he remarked, a cruel glint in his eyes.
You inclined your head in acknowledgement, maintaining the facade of grief as it came naturally. "Thank you, Zenin-sama. I am honored to be here despite the sorrow that accompanies my arrival."
Naobito waved his hand dismissively, clearly uninterested in niceties. "Let's get on with it then. Daisuke, our arrangement?"
Daisuke cleared his throat, shifting into his formal tone once more. "As agreed, Y/N will be betrothed to one of your sons, or another appropriate clan member should a son not be available, securing the alliance between our clans. The Kamo clan seeks the strength and protection of the Zenin, and in return, we offer our influence and support with regard to matters involving those higher in rank."
Naobito's indifferent demeanor remained unchanged as he listened to your uncle's formalities. After a moment, he sighed audibly, a hint of annoyance tainting his expression.
"Unfortunately, all of my other sons are already married...save for one," Naobito stated coldly. "Naoya is my youngest, and he remains unmarried. I suppose he'll have to suffice for this...pathetic alliance. Though, I expect his resistance. The boy's not one known for his behavior."
Daisuke nodded respectfully, acknowledging the limitations of the situation. "We appreciate the flexibility, Zenin-sama. I'm sure Naoya will be a worthy match for Y/N."
Naobito leaned back after rolling his eyes, taking another sip of sake as he considered the arrangement. He turned to one of the attendants quietly standing against the wall. "Go and fetch Naoya. Inform him of the situation and bring him here promptly."
The attendant nodded, a flicker of fear evident in her eyes, but they quickly composed themselves and exited the room in haste. Naoya, known for his unpredictable and ruthless nature, was a figure to be feared even within the Zenin clan.
The silence was deafening as you, Daisuke, and Naobito stared at one another while waiting for the attendant to return. After a short few moments, the attendant returned with a hesitant bow, her eyes showcasing an obvious mix of fear and trepidation. She spoke in a hushed tone, addressing Naobito with utmost respect. "I apologize, Zenin-sama, but Naoya refuses to come. He is still resting, as he returned late last night from a...festivity."
Naobito's face tightened with irritation, his fingers drumming impatiently on the tatami mat next to him. "Still sleeping? At this late hour? Unacceptable." He turned to the attendant with a stern expression. "Gather more attendants. If he refuses, drag him in if you have to. I won't have my son shirking his responsibilities for his...indulgences."
You gave Daisuke a certain look that blatantly showed you were trying to hold back laughter despite yourself. You found Naobito's lack of control over his children amusing. Naohiro had been the same, disobedient to his father, though he was much more gentle with you. Naoya, you knew, was going to be a problem. Daisuke lightly nudged you to behave as he held his polite expression.
The attendant, visibly more nervous now, nodded and quickly exited the room. Naobito sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose, his annoyance evident. "That boy has no sense of responsibility. Always chasing after fleeting pleasures."
The fusuma doors slid open again, revealing a group of female attendants. They entered with conflicted expressions of determination as they wrangled a disheveled Naoya who was fighting against their grasp, still half-asleep, as he was forcibly dragged into the room in a white t-shirt, boxers, and an unfastened yukata that hung off of one of his shoulders. His bleached hair accentuated with black tips darted in a few different directions as he ripped his arms out of the attendants' grasp with a furious look on his otherwise sleepy expression.
Naoya adjusted his disheveled clothes as he stood up a bit straighter, not caring to fix his tousled hair. Naobito's eyes narrowed with displeasure as he observed his son's state. "Naoya, this is an important matter. Show some respect."
Naoya glared at his father as he stood with his feet slightly apart for balance, mind still dizzy from a night of his usual revelry. His head snapped in your direction to which his frustrated expression fell into a deep smirk. "Well, well, if it isn't the Kamo princess," Naoya sneered, his arrogant grin widening as he appraised you with a dismissive glance. "Coming to play the grieving widow, are we?"
You kept a straight face as you stared at Naoya, straightening up your shoulders to look at him head-on. You carried no fear for the immature boy standing in front of you. Daisuke, too, gave Naoya a disapproving look but refrained from saying anything, knowing the delicate nature of the situation.
Naobito, giving yet another audible sigh in an attempt to bring attention back to the task at hand, cut to the chase. "Naoya, Y/N is to be your betrothed so that our alliance with the Kamo clan can remain secure."
Naoya's eyes widened in outrage as he processed the information. "You've got to be kidding me, old man! I'm not interested in some arranged marriage nonsense," he spat, his voice dripping with disdain. He clenched his fists at his sides as he glared at his father. It was nearly impossible to take him seriously considering his disheveled appearance.
Naobito's patience wore thin as he shot Naoya a stern look. "Watch your tongue, boy. This alliance, as pathetic as it seems, is crucial to the Zenin clan, and you will do as your duty demands."
Naoya rolled his eyes dramatically, an exaggerated display of defiance. "Duty? I have no duty to anyone but myself. I won't be shackled to some woman and dragged off to Kyoto like a common servant. Like my pathetic brother."
You remained composed, watching the exchange with an impassive expression. Daisuke, though disapproving of Naoya's behavior and not desiring to subject his niece to such torture, kept a respectful distance, knowing better than to intervene in the Zenin family affairs.
Naobito's tone turned even colder as he asserted his authority. "You will do as I say, Naoya. This is not up for negotiation. The alliance with the Kamo clan must be maintained and you will fulfill your responsibilities as the next clan head. Or do I need to revoke that title from you and give it to one of your older brothers?"
Naoya's bratty attitude persisted and he scoffed at his father's words. "Fine, I'll play your little game, but I'm not leaving Tokyo. If she's supposed to be my bride, the bitch can come live in my domain. I won't be caught dead in that dull city of Kyoto, not when I need to manage the Hei!"
Naobito's patience had run out, and he slammed his hand on the armrest of the zabuton, his voice cutting through the room like a blade. "Enough, Naoya! This is not a negotiation! You will follow through with this arrangement, and she will live in Kyoto with her family. The Hei may be significant, but it does not give you the right to defy our clan's decisions."
Naoya scowled, clearly displeased with the outcome. "This is ridiculous. If I have to marry her, she's staying in Tokyo. I won't be confined to that backward city!"
You took a deep breath, feeling fed up with the back and forth between petty father and son. "If I may," you began, breaking the silence with a steady voice despite the tension in the room. Naoya and Naobito's furious gazes darted toward you, equal in baffled disgust at your sudden dare to speak. "I understand his concerns about leaving Tokyo considering his responsibilities with the Hei. If it pleases the Zenin family, I am willing to remain in Tokyo as long as I am able to be provided a part of the garden to tend to my plants and a suitable place to store my...reptiles."
Daisuke's eyes widened in shock at your unexpected proposal. He knew all too well the risks involved in meddling with the affairs of the Zenin clan, especially with someone as unpredictable as Naoya.
Quietly, Daisuke leaned in closer to you, his voice barely above a whisper. "Y/N, are you sure about this? Your safety at the Zenin estate cannot be guaranteed."
You met Daisuke's concerned gaze with a silent nod, your eyes reflecting quiet determination. You were well aware of the dangers, but you were confident in your ability to navigate the treacherous waters of the Zenin clan. Turning your attention back to Naoya and Naobito, you awaited their response, your posture unwavering despite the intensity of the situation.
Naoya's arrogant grin faltered for a moment as he considered your proposal, his brow furrowing in thought. "Hmph, you're quite bold for a Kamo," he remarked, a hint of begrudging respect underlying his words. "Very well, if you're willing to tend to your plants and snakes like some common gardener, then so be it."
Naobito, though visibly displeased with the compromise, reluctantly acquiesced. "Fine, if that's what it takes to ensure the success of this alliance then so be it. But make no mistake, Kamo Y/N, any misstep on your part under this roof will not be tolerated."
You gave a small nod of acknowledgement. Inside, you felt a surge of relief and victory knowing you had secured a concession from the formidable Zenin patriarch and his bratty son.
Naobito's stern gaze shifted from you to Naoya, a clear signal that the matter was settled. "Naoya, get dressed. You will show Y/N around the estate while I finalize the details of your betrothal with Daisuke."
Naoya scowled at his father, clearly displeased with the order. "Why am I the one tasked with babysitting the princess around this dull place?"
Naobito looked toward the ceiling and clenched his jaw as if he were praying to some kind of deity. After a moment, he turned back to look at his son. "Consider it a punishment for your insolence. Now, obey your duty and show her the estate. Perhaps you'll learn something about responsibility."
Naoya huffed in annoyance but didn't dare further protest in front of his father. He shot a disdainful glance at you. "Fine, let's get this over with. Follow me, Kamo," he sneered, emphasizing your family name with a mocking tone.
You maintained your composure, but smirked as you walked behind him. "Lead the way, Zenin-sama. I'm sure it won't be as dull as you claim."
Tumblr media
As Naoya grumbled and stormed out of the room, you continued following him, Daisuke's watchful gaze lingered on you with concern. The attendants opened the shoji doors and you and Naoya stepped out and began walking toward his room, his bare feet hardly making a sound against the spaced wooden planks of the outdoor pathway. As you followed behind, you saw his angry breath following him in the cold air of late afternoon.
Naoya walked ahead of you with an air of arrogance, fists still clenched as his black yukata flowed in the breeze of his quick pace. "I hope you're not expecting some kind of grand tour, Kamo. This place isn't as exciting as you think."
You chuckled softly, not letting his arrogance faze you. "Then I suppose I'll need to liven things up around here with my presence."
He shot you a skeptical glance as you stopped in front of his room's door, his eyes narrowed at you as he slid the door open. "Don't mistake this for willingness. I'm only doing this because the old man ordered it. I couldn't care less about a whore like you or this alliance nonsense."
As Naoya entered his room, you remained outside, leaning casually against the sliding door. You slid your hands into your sleeves for warmth as you waited. The opened door allowed you to catch glimpses of the interior where Naoya, in his disheveled state, attempted to compose himself.
The room was dimly lit, and the faint scent of strong alcohol lingered in the air. You watched with mild amusement as Naoya stumbled to dress, his bare feet unsteady on the wooden floors, a clear sign that he was still grappling with the aftermath of the previous night's festivities. His yukata hung loosely from one shoulder, revealing a toned and defined physique beneath the fabric. Despite the obvious signs of his hangover, there was an undeniable attractiveness to Naoya's disarray. His bleached, black-tipped hair, tousled from sleep and night's revelry, framed his face in a way that accentuated the sharpness of his muscular chest and arms.
Naoya fumbled with the buttons of his collared shirt, a slight grimace on his face as he tilted his chin upward, wincing from the headache that undoubtedly plagued him. With his shirt buttoned, he grabbed his dark blue hakamashita from his bed where he tossed it. As you observed his attempts to dress himself, you couldn't help but be intrigued by the contradictions within Naoya -- the audacious, carefree exterior that masked the complexities beneath. It was evident that, despite his arrogant demeanor, he was not immune to the consequences of his indulgences. He still had some growing room left.
Naoya lastly put on his white hakama pants, tying them at his waist with a bit of frustration. He shot a glance in your direction, a mix of annoyance and curiosity in his eyes. "Are you just going to stand there, Kamo, or do you plan on entering? You're letting all the warm air out," he motioned irritably to the space heater on the floor.
Your lips curled into a sly smile as you pushed off the door, entering his room with a deliberate confidence and closing the shoji door behind you. "I thought I'd give you a moment to compose yourself, Zenin. Wouldn't want to interrupt your morning routine," you chuckled lowly and crossed your arms. "Excuse me...I meant afternoon routine."
He scoffed, the arrogant smirk returning to his face. "Morning routine? More like recovering from a night well spent. But enough about that. What do you truly want? I'm not here to entertain you."
Your eyes scanned the simple yet elegant decor of his room. "Entertainment is subjective, Zenin. I'm simply here to fulfill my duties as your betrothed, as per our esteemed fathers' arrangement."
Naoya rolled his eyes, the remnants of irritation evident in his expression. "Right, the illustrious betrothal. A joyous occasion, I'm sure. Now, let's get this stupid tour over with."
Dates: February 14, 2018 - Naohiro, Naoya's brother and Y/N's ex-husband, is killed. February 18, 2018 - Y/N is sent to the Zenin estate to be married off to an eligible Zenin bachelor. AN: Reminder, this is your father and half-brother. c: (From Vol. 22)

── Grandchildren's reactions to their deceased grandmother
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
INCLUDES: Gojo Satoru, Geto Suguru, Nanami Kento, Fushiguro Megumi, Kamo Noritoshi
READER: female
WRITTEN: 01/08/2023
NOTE: Thank you for requesting! I hope you request more things :) I took some liberty with how some of the grandchildren knew reader was deceased for some variety.
Tumblr media
Gojo Satoru
When his grandson, a promising boy who would grow up to be powerful, asked about his grandmother, Satoru froze.
He was in the middle of shopping for his daughter and grandson and he completely stopped walking.
"You shouldn't ask something so personal in public," your daughter hissed.
He pouted. "Sorry, Mama."
Mama. Your daughter used to say that to you when she was a baby, and Satoru thought it was the cutest thing. He was papa and his heart would melt.
"Your grandmother," he said gently as he began walking again, "was a wonderful woman. She gave birth to your mama, after all."
"Was she pretty?"
"The prettiest."
Tumblr media
Geto Suguru
"Grandpa, why doesn't grandma ever visit?"
Suguru's smile faltered. "She can't, my little grandson."
"Why not?"
"She's resting in a nice place on a fluffy bed," said Suguru.
"Do you rest with her?"
"One day, my little grandson."
Tumblr media
Nanami Kento
It had been years since your death. You left Kento as a single father to a daughter who was only eight. At that age, she remembered you and took your death hard.
He had to remain strong and console his daughter, but it was so difficult. No one knew how bad it was for him to lose you.
"Dad," your daughter said gently, "I put Yu down just now. I'm gonna rest a bit."
He was staring at a picture of you when your daughter was a newborn. Your daughter took notice of that and smiled.
"Mom misses you too," she said. "So don't worry, Dad, but for now, stay with us, okay?"
Kento nodded. "Of course, darling."
Tumblr media
Fushiguro Megumi
He was a man who had lost too many people he cared about. His mother and father who he barely knew anything about, his best friend, and his wife.
The only constant in his life was his mentor and provider, Gojo Satoru, but even he was wrinkly and frail now.
Megumi had done everything to protect his three children that he created with you and four grandchildren that they created.
"Dad!" Your eldest son, Yuuji, called out. "Kaoru is asking for you."
Kaoru was his first grandchild who adored grandpa Megumi. He was a carbon copy of him. Most of his looks from his father were completely skipped.
"I made this in school for you and grandma. Dad said she really liked sunflowers," said Kaoru.
Tumblr media
Kamo Noritoshi
His marriage to you was god-sent. After being cast out from the Kamo clan because of Kenjaku, he was free to marry whoever he wanted to.
Noritoshi often took his grandson to your grave, reminding him how short life was and to enjoy it to the fullest — something he didn't get to do while he was a jujutsu sorcerer.
"We're back, Grandmother," said your grandson. "Grandfather's crying again."
"What? I am not," Noritoshi hastily said as he wiped his eyes with his sleeves.
"He's lying. He totally is."
He sniffled. "You're just like your mother. The weather is nice today, darling. I'm going to take our grandson to get ice cream after this. We'll eat some together in the future."

The four times Noritoshi loses you and the one he doesn't
you know what, I'm posting here first. better late than never. this is the final chapter. Pairing: Noritoshi x reader Word count: 3349 Warning: minor spoilers for the manga, nothing in detail but still
5th
Hushed feet carried Noritoshi through the wrecked streets, the eerie silence only heightening his discomfort, his anxieties echoing in the dead quiet surroundings. Heavy clouds hung above him and in the distance he could hear thunder - shit, the last thing this ruined place needed now was a storm. The minute the fighting was done and the nightmare that had started with the culling game was over, Noritoshi only had one thought in his mind: you. He hadn't seen you through the whole thing, and the entire time his heart ached with terror, a constant pain always lurking in the back of his mind as he feared the worst.
Whenever he found someone who was a member of Jujutsu High, Noritoshi was happy to see them alive, commemorating whichever life was spared by the devastation. But he was happier when he found someone with information about you. Like most others, you had been locked within the game, forced to fight but ultimately still coming out alive, albeit heavily injured. You had been sent to a makeshift hospital, healed using reverse cursed technique, but your injuries were heavy on your body and you still needed the rest.
As he entered the small building - which seemed to have been a clinic once, not a full hospital, but the best and most intact thing around - Noritoshi could feel his heart pounding against his ears. The sound was almost deafening, a drumming that had threatened to drive him insane. The damn organ refused to be silenced, even as he heard voices around the badly lit hallways. Even as he had to stop and ask someone about where he could find you. Even as his feet carried him up the stairs and down the empty space.
When he got to the hallway where your room would be, the eerie stillness hit him again, like ice creeping through his veins. In the heavy quiet air all he could hear were his own footsteps echoing on the walls, the maddening drumming of his heart and the loud silence of his fears. Noritoshi could feel anxiety gripping at him, like it was squeezing his throat, shortening his air supply, each step he took heavier than the next. He was scared, terrified, and still his feet carried him to the heavy wooden door.
And as he stood looking at it, he had to wonder, what exactly was he the most scared of?
He was terrified of you being hurt, of seeing you in pain, of seeing you in a state of fragility and injury that would mark your life forever. He knew you were strong - he believed in you, he wouldn't have endured the fear this long if he didn't - but he was afraid the damage would be something irreparable, something that could break even you. Although he couldn't lie to himself, this was not his only fear.
Standing before the door, breathing in the cold air around, Noritoshi could still clearly remember your last words to him. The bitterness and pain in their tone. The way they cut deep into his soul. What if you just didn't want to see him? What if, despite your injuries, you still lashed out? If you still seemed cold and distant as you were on that day? Would that be the thing to finally break him after all this pain? One of the few things he wanted to do with his newfound freedom was to see you, he'd made it through hell thinking about that. So what would be of him if you were to push him away now?
The thought alone had Noritoshi frozen in fear. But it was nowhere as strong as the thought of never being with you again, his need to see if you were alright with his own eyes. He was worried about you, he had been since that damn game began, he needed to do this, and this time he wouldn't let fear get in the way. He wouldn't be a coward again. So with his heart drumming heavily in his ears, Noritoshi's slender fingers touched the heavy door, slowly opening it, a low creaking noise filling the cold silence.
When the door opened, Noritoshi was faced with a low lit room, not any larger than his own accommodations back at Kyoto High. Pushed against a wall to the further side of him was a single bed, and lying in it was you, bandaged and tired, almost sinking into the mattress, back propped up by some pillows. You seemed so fragile, body seeming weak and drained as you laid there. A far cry from the person he knew, even the sound you made upon seeing him seemed small, a tiny gasp that filled the empty room.
The minute he noticed, Noritoshi was already by the side of your bed, feet carrying him there in a flash. He didn't manage to fight the urge, he barely even noticed it before acting on the impulse, strong arms coming around your form and gently pulling you into an embrace. When he realized it, he let go, feeling blood rush to his face as he stood straight by your side, throat drying under your powerful stare.
There was a tense, heavy moment before any of you spoke. You looked up at him with those beautiful eyes and Noritoshi stuttered, trying to find the words of what to say, eyes wondering your body to check the extent of the damage. It takes him a second, but Noritoshi finally manages to even his breathing and finally recover his voice, bumbling the first words that come to mind.
"How are you feeling? What," he starts but stutters, swallowing hard as his eyes go over you again, "what happened to you?"
You smile, it's small and not much, but it's enough to have Noritoshi's heart leaping. He notices you making an effort to sit up further and moves to help you, but you lazily swat his hand away, and he sees you haven't lost your pride yet. When you are fully resting your back against the headboard, you look at him and point towards a metal chair sitting against the wall. He follows your lead and pulls it towards the bed, sitting by your side, now closer to eye level.
"I've been better," you respond with a small laugh. "But believe me, it looks worse than it feels. And for what happened," you mumble, shrugging as you rest your head back on the wooden backrest of the bed. "I guess you could say I had one too many run-ins with some powerful sorcerers who had no regard for human life."
There is a pause again as Noritoshi looks deep into your eyes, worry written all over his face as he mutters an apology - for what, he can't tell. Part of him feels he should have been there to help you, but he knows it's a foolish thought. You shake your head at him before turning back with a smile.
"And what about you?" You ask, a sliver of amusement in your soft voice as you gesture to his clothes and hair. "What is all that?"
For a second, Noritoshi allows himself a small laugh, he had been so caught up in the moment that he completely forgot all the noticeable changes he had been through. So caught up in his quest to find you and ease his anguished heart that he had forgotten that he himself had gone through so much. He runs a hand over his short hair, slim fingers still missing the familiar feeling of his longer silky locks. Just being in your presence had made the past few days seem almost distant - but now they came crashing back.
Noritoshi gathers his strength and tells you about all he had been through. About what brought up all these changes. About what had happened to the Kamo clan - how he had finally made his mind to go against them to do the right thing, but he wasn't even given a chance to do just that much. He tells you about how, when he got there, they were all already dead, the only living thing besides him in the entire place being Kenjaku, the one who had killed them all.
The Kamo clan was dead, and in a sense Noritoshi was free, but it still rang hollow. He had been robbed of even conquering his own freedom, robbed of the chance to rebel against the family that had made him a captive to their rules for so long. In quiet mutters, he told you about how it made him feel a certain sense of shame - and how he knew that thought was stupid. His gaze avoided yours as he spoke, dark eyes caught the sky through a broken window, the heavy clouds seemed to be moving, small streams of sunlight fighting to break through.
"But that doesn't really matter," you say, after a heavy moment of silence, and he feels compelled to look at you, only to fall into the pull of your eyes. "You are free now. Say, what you planning to do with that new freedom?"
The metal chair creaks as Noritoshi slouches on it, feeling his body tense, muscles aching. The weight of the past events now fully downing on him as he finally had a minute to sit down and rest. What would he do? He hadn't thought that far, to be honest, it all seemed so hazy to him. He had been working on autopilot almost, body acting without his brain even giving input. Looking out into the window again he watched the clouds continue to move, now that the worst was behind him, what would he want to do? Well, the first thing he had done was come here - it was coming after you.
"I don't really know," he responds with an empty laugh, still afraid to meet your eyes, afraid of the uncertainty, but also of the few things he was certain of. "This all feels so strange, I guess it still takes some time for things to settle down on my mind. And," Noritoshi pauses and takes a deep breath before continuing, "the moment I had a minute of peace I just came to look for you. I was so worried, that was the first thing I ended up doing."
He looks at you sheepishly, words having stumbled from his lips in a quiet confession. No more lies, no more hiding, this was the truth. The moment he'd been granted freedom from this nightmare, the first thing Noritoshi did was look for you. He didn't even need to think about it, he just did, like an instinct, like he had always been drawn back to you.
Noritoshi just watches you in tense silence for a moment, your eyes gazing deep and hard into his own, boring holes in his soul as he feels bare before your stare. It's just a moment, but it feels almost eternal - and then it's over, as you smile at him. Noritoshi hadn't seen that in what seemed like so long, and he had missed it far more than he realized.
"Thank you," comes your muttered answer, eyes flicking away from his own for a second before coming back. "Really. I'm thankful that you were worried. I'm glad to see you doing well."
You pause, there is some hesitation in your voice and Noritoshi grows uneasy, anxious with the thought that maybe you didn't want him around. Maybe your hesitation was because you were trying to be polite, but not really wanting to see him. Maybe he should have stayed outside, not bothered you, he knew you were alive now, so he should leave. Who knew if you could ever forgive him. Who knew if he even deserved that forgiveness.
"Ah," he starts but stutters, trying hard to find the words to fill the space, but there are none, and he can't help the truth from spilling out. "Do you want me to go? I mean, I came here, but I was terrified that you wouldn't want to see me again, and I'm ready to leave if that's what you want," he speaks fast, not even giving his thoughts time to breath, words spilling from his soft lips like a torrent. "I just wanted to see if you were ok, and I'm happy now that I know you are aliv-"
"Noritoshi," you cut him off, his dark eyes finding you again, getting pulled by the waves of your own eyes. "It's ok. It's ok, you can stay," you pause for a moment, laying a gentle hand on top of his own where it sat on the bed, the touch is soft, and it feels like Noritoshi finally lets go of a breath he didn't know he was holding. " I know we weren't... On the best of terms, but despite that I was really worried too. Don't think I don't care, because I really did, and I'm happy to see you well."
You smile at him, and he melts inside, his own lips curling as he feels you squeeze his hand, his long fingers squeezing yours back in response. The silence feels less threatening now, less heavy and foreboding. It feels peaceful, and even the wind blowing through the broken window is a welcomed change from the tense atmosphere that had reigned before.
"And I'm also happy to see you are free now, no matter what," you add in a soft tone, and he feels compelled to believe in you. "All you gotta do is figure out what you wanna do with your new freedom."
You say it like it's easy, but Noritoshi can feel his heart heavy at the very thought. Maybe it is easy, he just doesn't know it because the clan never really let him have freedom before. His life had never been really his, and now he feels like he is staring at the edge of a precipice. A bird raised in a cage, terrified of the vast open sky. A captive animal thrown into the wild, but one who doesn't even know what freedom feels like. Or what to do with it. God, it all feels so strange. And the more Noritoshi thinks about it, the more he feels on the verge of breaking.
He looks at you, hurt but still resisting, his dark eyes roaming over your form before finding your gaze again - it's soft, and warm, and he feels drawn in. You had been the first thought on his mind once the nightmare was over. The first person he looked for once he had a minute of peace. Even now, bruised and broken, you still seemed unafraid, and he believed you were sure to have fared much better in his situation. You wouldn't be so uncertain. Noritoshi could feel a sliver of shame creeping into his brain - suddenly hyper aware of the silence that settled as he thought.
What was it he wanted to do?
"I want," Noritoshi starts, pausing in a moment of hesitation, eyes slipping from yours to look at the floor. "I want to build a life that's my own," comes his low response, voice hoarse and rumbling as he continues to stare down. "And I want to go looking for my mother. And if you'd let me, I want to have you around for all that too."
He almost mutters that last part, stumbling over the sentence as it gets stuck in his dry throat. The words had left his mouth on an impulse, but they were the truth, and by god, he wanted to live truthfully now. At least to try. But it terrifies him, freezes him to the bone, and when his eyes flicker back to yours, he is already talking again - the silence between you having lasted only the space of a breath.
"I mean, I'm free and the first place my feet carried me to was here. To you. I know I have no right to say this but, I want to ask you to give me a second chance. I know I don't deserve it, you were right. I was a coward, caring too much about what the clan thought and I..."
Noritoshi's confessions spilled from his lips in a rushed tone, words scattering into the wind as he spoke faster and faster, his heart racing within his chest before he came to a sudden halt. He pauses in a moment of breathless hesitation, recomposing himself and swallowing hard while his eyes refocused on you.
"I wasn't doing you justice. But if you let me, I want to try again."
His tone is soft and honest and his voice almost breaks at the last moment, his trembling eyes misted over as he looks up at you. But by this point, he is past caring if you'd notice. Maybe this was stupid, maybe he was misinterpreting your kindness, maybe you'd never really forgive him. But he had to try, he needed to. To be brave at least once, and if worse came to worst, at least now he'd know the answer.
Though, it's easier said than done. His heart refuses to slow down and the moment he is done speaking, a silence settles between you two. You are looking at him, the undertow of your eyes keeping his gaze locked with yours, but he can't quite read your expression. Noritoshi can feel panic settling in, creeping through his spine and into every nerve. When you take your hand away from his, it reaches a peak, and he is already preparing to hear the worst.
But it never happens. The worst never comes. It's all so sudden, he barely registers it, next thing he knows your hands are on his face and your soft lips meet his. Noritoshi doesn't question, he just gives into you, sinking his heart and soul into this one kiss. It's gentle and warm and loving and desperate all at the same time. It's everything he wanted, but not enough. He tastes your mouth as you do his, and it feels like heaven, his own personal paradise. And he misses you the moment it's over, even though you are right there, forehead touching his own, lips just hovering above his.
"I wanted to forgive you from the moment you walked through that door, you idiot," you mutter against his lips, and he can hear the cracks in your voice, the way it feels just as hoarse and shaken as his. "I missed you so much, I was so worried."
Noritoshi's hands find your face and neck, caressing your soft skin with his fingers just as you do to him, holding you so close you both share the same breath. For a long moment you stay like that, basking in each other's touch in a comfortable silence. The noises from the wind outside being the only sound you hear.
When you pull away, Noritoshi's hands slip from your face to your shoulders, caressing you in a tender touch. You smile at him, and he feels weightless, heart skipping a beat as he almost cries. You look him over, one hand moving to his hair, fingers brushing over the now much shorter locks. For a moment he feels self conscious, maybe you wouldn't like the sudden change in looks.
"It looks nice short," you comment, and he feels foolish for ever doubting you. "I think I like this look a lot more."
He laughs, and you laugh alongside him, the sound fills the room as well as his chest, bringing a warmth he'd so desperately needed. When you pull him into a hug, Noritoshi feels like he could burst, and as if by magic, the world seems lighter. The sun filters through the broken window as his eyes catch the last of the storm clouds being blown away by the wind. Yeah, maybe things aren't perfect, but they are going to be better now, he knows it. They are already better, you are here, in his arms, and this time, he won't let you slip away again.

╰➤ SYNOPSIS: in which you, teen! scarlet witch! fushiguro! reader, joins the kyoto goodwill event at jujutsu tech. the kyoto students, on the other hand, underestimate you due to your lack of cursed energy, them evidently unable to sense your chaos magic, your powers as the scarlet witch, which is why you are determined to show all of them their place and that you weren't a special grade sorcerer for merely nothing, most especially when overhear that kyoto principal gakuganji intends to have you and itadori yuuji killed. full request here.
Tumblr media
both itadori yuuji and gojo satoru surprised the kyoto students, as well as gakuganji and utahime, with yuuji's survival and some strange-looking souvenirs, leaving the tokyo jujutsu tech students, particularly megumi and nobara, mortified, but the kyoto students preoccupied with gojo's souvinirs.
however, it wasn't long before you entered the picture. you were a little late because you had just completed a jujutsu-related mission. but the moment you met everyone and approached, all eyes were drawn to you, especially the kyoto students and gakuganji himself, because megumi, nobara, yuuji, and even the second-years maki, inumaki, and panda were already acquainted with you.
"you're late, [name]," your half older brother megumi greeted your arrival with a small huff of breath but a soft smile.
"sorry, nii-san, had to deal with some curses," you apologized to megumi before greeting nobara, yuuji, and the rest of the tokyo jujutsu tech second-years with friendly side hugs and some "hi's!" and "hello's!" before trotting towards gojo, your adoptive father, who had drawn you into a quick embrace.
"curses, huh? bet they were just a bunch of low grade fours," a mocking feminine voice had caught your ear right away.
you pushed yourself away from gojo and tilted your head, only to find yourself staring at a short-haired woman who resembled maki. with her arms folded, she was staring at you.
"you've got some nerve, lady," you remarked, clicking your tongue and folding your arms across your chest.
"riight?" nobara agreed, taking a step closer to your side and narrowing her eyes at mai.
"a-anyway! you must be fushiguro [name], we've heard so much about you!" miwa, the blue-haired girl, exclaimed ever so kindly with a smile, trying to ease up the tension that mai had started with you, "it's nice to meet you."
"hmm, so you're gojo's adopted daughter, but you're supposed to be from the zenin clan just like fushiguro-kun," noritoshi added to what miwa had said.
"you're the kid of the strongest jujutsu sorcerer who comes from the zenin family in some way," mai sighed, her lips quirking into a taunting smile, "very shameful if you ask me."
you scoffed, "implying something now, are we?"
"well, mai's not wrong; it's just that you don't have any cursed energy on you," todo explained, his words getting on your nerves.
"it's just quite disappointing," nishimiya added.
you held your hand towards utahime, gojo, and even megumi as they were about to intervene, signaling them to stop. as they stopped speaking, you took a step forward, "i'm not one for words, but i'd very much appreciate it if you stopped associating me with the zenin clan or just being the adopted child of the strongest jujutsu sorcerer. i'm not fushiguro [name] or labeled a special grade sorcerer for nothing."
"even gakuganji-san knows that very well, right, old man?"
with that, you looked at him, boring eyes as cold and piercing as ice, enough to send a horrible shiver down his spine while keeping his blood boiling.
"but you guys are just in luck today, you know? because you won't be dealing with okkotsu, you'll be dealing with me," you said, shaking your head.
with that, a "friendly" smile crept across your face, but there was something atrocious and sinister about it, especially given your subsequent choice of words.
"you have exhausted my patience with all your hypocrises and insults, so i do hope you understand that even now, and what's about to happen later in the field, is me, being reasonable."
and just like that, you became the talk of the kyoto students as they discussed their plans for the aforementioned event, just as megumi and the others did when you joined them.
nobara had just finished making yuuji hold a picture frame meant for a funeral to his face when megumi furrowed his brows as he noticed you staring blankly and quietly, deep in thought, as you leaned your back against a wooden beam by the porch, arms folded across your chest.
"are you okay?" megumi asked in concern.
"i'm good, no worries," you smiled at him kindly, closing your eyes briefly before opening them again, "do you mind if i step out a little?"
"just make sure to come back quickly. we still need to discuss our battle formation together, [name]!" panda exclaimed, to which you nodded before departing.
"ugh, i swear i'm pummeling those kyoto students," nobara sighed deeply, folding her arms across her chest. "[name] is clearly upset."
"they have no idea what [name] is capable of," maki said, her lips quirking into a smirk.
"yuuta having to face them before was mercy, but with [name]? it's a different story," panda said, and inumaki agreed.
"but still, they shouldn't have talked bad about [name] like that," yuuji frowned as he moved the picture frame for funerals away from his face.
when you told megumi you needed a break, you weren't exactly telling the truth. as you made your way to the meeting on the kyoto side, you adjusted your black fingerless gloves. you weren't bothered by their underestimation; in fact, it fueled something in you. however, because your abilities allow you to enter people's minds, you were able to confirm their true motive when they were riling you up earlier.
with that, you wordlessly hid and blended within the shadows as you eavesdropped on their meeting.
"kill sukuna's host, itadori yuuji, and that highly disrespectful witch, fushiguro [name]," gakuganji ordered, causing miwa to perk up and the rest to stare at him, "both of them aren't people, so we can just scratch everything down to an accident. no need to hold back or anything."
as you heard miwa mentally refuse, mai, mechamaru, noritoshi, and nishimiya from earlier set on following gakuganji's orders, you heard todo openly decline on their schemes and mention seeing takada-chan. despite the fact that todo and gakuganji had already left, noritoshi and the others continued their conversation.
"it's a serious problem that a half-baked guy like itadori, along with that so-called special grade, gets to be in this match to begin with; as a member of the kamo clan, i can't let this go by idly," noritoshi declared, furrowing his brows.
"i bet she just became a special grade sorcerer because of connections. she has no cursed energy, if anything she should be nothing more than at maki's grade," mai scoffed, "the nerve of her to threaten us like that as well."
"but you heard it from [name], she said she was dealing with special grade curses," miwa reasoned, "and the principal didn't say anything when she said he knew she wasn't just a special grade sorcerer for nothing."
"of course the principal wouldn't say anything. [name]'s adoptive father, gojo-sensei, was right there," shrugged nishimiya.
you closed your eyes as you unconsciously felt your own hands close into trembling fists. relax, [name]. keep your cool. this wasn't the time to let your chaos magic slip out of your control; that would be petty, at least not right now. it was one thing for them to insult and underestimate you, but to drag itadori, your yuuji-nii-san, into this as well? it was a no.
you weren't going to let this go at all costs, and as you left your hiding spot and headed back to tokyo, your eyes narrowed with a faint glint of red glow in them.
as soon as you were reunited with yuuji and the others, you put on a smile, not wanting to worry or speculate, but megumi, being your older brother, was still concerned. your smile was off. nonetheless, megumi didn't question it further and simply filled you in on how all of you were going to win the kyoto goodwill event with maki, unbeknownst to them that you already had a separate plan in mind.
in the forest, you and the other tokyo jujutsu tech students were getting ready for event. you obviously weren't paying attention to gojo's insistence on utahime delivering some sort of inspirational message to everyone when she's clearly unprepared. poor auntie utahime.
the truth is that you were already focusing on sensing the cursed energy of each kyoto student rather than the supposed "boss's" cursed energy. so, after utahime's words of encouragement and hearing gojo's start announcement, you ran alongside yuuji and the others, trailing one of megumi's dogs.
a spider-like curse had appeared out of nowhere from the tree branches, "where are you goooing?"
just as maki was about to dive in with her spear, you immediately shot your hand out and used your red psionics to halt her and panda just as megumi screamed "wait". todo had burst in on cue, snapping the spider curse off the branch. with maki and panda safe from harm, they both thanked you quickly as you released them.
"alriight! everyone's here!" todo exclaimed as he demanded, "come at me! all at once!"
at that moment, yuuji left your side and dashed straight towards todo. yuuji grabbed todo's face in his hands and harshly kneed him in the face, most likely breaking his nose due to the sound of crunching bones.
at that, maki yelled and signaled everyone, "disperse!"
megumi, maki, inumaki, panda, and nobara ran off and scattered as planned, but you stayed right where yuuji and todo are. when yuuji kicked todo in the face and jumped away, he perked up and let out a small yelp to see you still standing there.
"[name]-chan?! what are you still doing here?" yuuji exclaimed in surprise.
you merely flashed him a kind, close-eyed smile as you clasped your hands together, "sorry, yuuji-nii-san, but i'll have to take it from here!~"
"eh? what do you mean by that, [name]-chan?" yuuji furrowed his brows.
yuuji and even todo looked at you, confused, until you walked in a fast forward motion towards yuuji's back, your powers augmenting your speed.
before yuuji could react, you leaned in to his ear, your voice hypnotic as you shot a wisp of red psionics from your fingertips towards his temples, "sleep."
with that, the pink-haired boy's eyes closed and he fell to the ground, sleeping just as you had instructed. this astounded todo.
"how strange.. you don't have cursed energy, and yet..." todo laughed and stared at you in amusement, "ohoho! interesting! mysterious women are quite the charmer. do you intend to go against your own team's plans?"
"i've already said it earlier. this is just me being reasonable," you simply lifted your hand again, allowing red psionics to seep out.
todo charged in without hesitation towards you, just as you had predicted. you effortlessly slid to one side, then another, causing him to snap trees in half. you swept the floor with todo, easily sending him flying into a tree. you engaged him in hand-to-hand combat before he could react. your chaos magic may be intended for long range, but you aren't gojo's daughter or megumi's sibling for nothing.
your swift and domineering attacks, imbued with red psionics, caught todo off guard. the way you hit hard with your fists and kicks reminded him of how gojo fights and as he retaliated, todo was quickly humbled.
although he managed to punch you one or two times, you caught his fist in your red psionic-imbued hand the third time. you overpowered his raw strength with a smirk on your lips and forced him to back away.
you didn't even give todo the chance to use his cursed technique either because you had already restrained him with chaos magic and had his throat in your grip. as he clawed at your grip, todo saw something monstrous in your red glowing eyes.
you wanted to strangle him alive. you wanted to kill him, but you reasoned that this would suffice for the time being.
you stepped the heel of your boot hard on his chest. a blank expression resting on your face as you knocked him out unconscious in the same way you had put yuuji to sleep. one down.
you then looked up in the sky to see nishimiya from earlier, riding on her broom and talking to someone. her eyes widened as she discovered yuuji sleeping on the ground with todo knocked out cold.
"that girl just took them out like it's nothing.. she doesn't have cursed energy but.. she has these weird red glows.. did she lie about having no cursed technique?" nishimiya said to noritoshi.
"what do you mean?!" noritoshi responded to nishimiya, his eyes opening from shock.
you turned your head, your eyes narrowed, and you quickly lifted a hand and leapt into action. bullets fired from a distance at you and yuuji but those same bullets glowed red and came to a halt in mid-air. you gathered the bullets as you sprinted around, earning an annoyed yet surprised look from mai herself.
you returned all of her bullets to her with a smirk and a wave of your hand, resulting in bullets grazing her and hitting her arm due to the incredible speed of the shots. you then left yuuji's unconscious body alone, sprinted, and ran straight towards miwa, who readied into a stance and drew her sword.
you leapt, executing a quick, clean flip just as she did her simple domain, avoiding her blade like it was nothing.
"what reflexes!" miwa's mouth hung open as she turned to face you, her mental thoughts being heard by you., "i know i hesitated, but still, my counter didn't even scratch her!"
you maintained your poise as bushes and leaves rustled and crunched around you. mechmaru ran and positioned himself just a few steps away from you, ready to fire at your back, with you easily sensing mai and noritoshi's presence among the trees as they remained hidden.
"hmm... i'm surrounded," you muttered quietly, tilting your head as you watched nishimiya join miwa and mechamaru.
"just what the hell are you?" nishimiya demanded, glaring daggers at you, but you could tell she was terrified of you—perfect, "no cursed energy, and yet you..." she exclaimed further, referring to your red psionics.
"you're right, i don't have any cursed energy. quite ironic, isn't it?" you managed a small chuckle, relishing in her and the other's priceless infuriated expressions across their faces, "i go by many names.. many identities.. but one thing's certain, i'm your nightmare."
you extended your hand and directed red psionic vapors toward mai and noritoshi. as you took aim, mechamaru fired a blast from his hand at you, while miwa charged at you head-on with her blade. as you shot a much larger blast of your own red psionics at miwa, you lifted your right hand, generating a shield out of your psionics to withstand mechamaru's blast of cursed energy.
mechamaru engaged you in hand-to-hand combat, choosing the sword option, which resulted in multiple blades protruding from his forearm and his nails extending. you easily evaded his attacks, just like todo, even with mai and noritoshi sniping at you through the trees.
mechamaru took a step back, assuming a stance before opening his mouth. a much larger blast of cursed energy was generated and fired at you as a result. you nearly stumbled because you weren't expecting the attack, but you quickly went on defense, regaining your footing with your power pulling you up, and surged more of your red psionics to retaliate, and then you siphoned the blast.
everyone's eyes widened as you sucked up mechamaru's cursed energy like it was nothing, causing his cursed body to break. you overpowered mechamaru in this manner, sending him flying away. you then used your chaos magic to pick up a large piece of ground debris and crash it onto him, paralyzing him before knocking him out unconscious with his cursed body in shambles—his cursed energy now your own power. two down.
with mechamaru down, miwa got back up and attacked you again, this time with her sword. you were taken aback when she brandished her sword, and you used your red psionics to deflect a blow right on cue.
"mechamaru!" miwa yelled at the cursed body, which was no longer responding but was strangely quiet.
as you levitated, your eyes glowed red with power. you gathered more larger debris from the ground and threw it at miwa, who retaliated by slicing through with her sword and jumping to evade you. you darted towards her as your feet touched the ground, throwing unusually large blasts of red, with miwa putting up her sword to take the hits.
miwa let out a small war cry as she brandished her sword at you. you could feel her rage at you for what you did to mechamaru and todo, but her rage wasn't enough. yours was much stronger, much much stronger than hers. they wanted to kill you and itadori yuuji, so you're giving them a taste of your medicine; showing them what kill or be killed is really like.
your lips curved into a sinister smile as you defeated miwa in the same way you defeated mechamaru. miwa gasped in disbelief, her sword shattered by your massive red psionics alone. you picked her up with your red psionics again. for some reason, her cries and struggles simply passed from one ear to the other. you were starting to lose empathy for all of them.
you knew you were going to get megumi, nobara, maki, and everyone else on the team questioning the whereabouts of the kyoto students, including yuuji, whom you had knocked out unconscious, but a voice in the back of your head was whispering encouraging words in your ear. just a little more it said.
as you constricted miwa in mid-air, you raised your other hand, easily deflecting a piercing sharp blood that shot from the trees with a force field.
"let her go, now!" noritoshi yelled at you, leaving his hiding spot in the trees and taking multiple arrows dipped in blood to aim, with mai and nishimiya following in his footsteps, all three of them attacking you at once this time.
"you're going to kill her!" cried nishimiya, sending a strong gust of wind your way.
despite their protests, you continued to fight them one by one, making sure to cause them the most pain possible. you easily turned the tables on nishimiya because her innate technique is simply manipulating tools just like her broom. despite the wind currents she threw at you, you easily retaliated against her.
"she's healing herself while attacking us," nishimiya gulped, looking at the open wounds on your exposed skin from all the fighting close up with your red psionics patching them.
you reached out your hand and took hold of her broom, firmly grasping it with your red psionics as nishimiya struggled to regain control of it. with a smirk, you made a fist and smashed the broom in half right in front of her. you brought your other hand down and threw miwa's thrashing body towards nishimiya, causing them both to crash to the ground, both of them unconscious and covered in bruises and cuts.
four down. two more to go.
mai was a little tricky because of her fiery personality, but she didn't put up much of a fight. hence why adored your maki-nee-san more than her. maki was far more powerful and deserving of a higher grade than her annoying little twin sister. you easily stole her revolver and shot multiple spheres of red psionics at her before constricting her like you did miwa.
"you're a monster!" mai yelled at you as she struggled painfully in the grip of your red psionics.
you simply stared at her, blinking, before darkly smiling again. you had moved quickly forward, shooting a wisp of red psionics to her temples. mai's eyes turned bright red and she screamed.
"what did you do to mai?!" noritoshi enquired as he attacked you with a piercing wheel of blood while aiming arrows at you.
you tilted your head towards noritoshi as you took hold of his attacks with your red psionics and simply returned them all to him. even with convergence to push his blood to the limit, noritoshi was overpowered and caught off guard, impaled by his own arrows with his wheel of blood attacking him severely.
the heels of your boots clicked against the ground as you walked towards him. you return his gaze with your red glowing eyes, your blank stare sending shivers down his spine, completely unaffected by mai's pitiful screams as she tossed and turned in her sleep.
"i can't control everyone else's fear, only mine." your voice was eerily calm as you paused just a few inches from him, a sphere of red psionics morphing in your dominant hand, "would you like to suffer the same way she did?"
back in the faculty room, gojo and the other jujutsu tech teachers from kyoto and tokyo were taken aback to find you standing in the middle of the forest, surrounded by the unconscious bodies of the kyoto students through the crow. unfazed, you returned your gaze to the bird, but your eyes were glowing a menacing red color once more, aware that gakuganji was watching you.
you maintained a relaxed posture. neither your posture nor your expression had changed much, but you seemed to be a different person. even your adoptive father, a special grade sorcerer, was taken aback as you tilted your head and stared straight at them without any warmth in your eyes. your presence was as cold as ice, and the person gojo and the others were seeing right now was more dangerous and cunning than any special grade cursed spirit.
it was the scarlet witch herself.
"w-what's going on with [name]?" utahime was the first to speak up. even your auntie utahime was scared of your performance right now.
"i.. don't know.." gojo slowly drew his blindfold down to his neck, completely stunned, "this.. this is the first time i've seen kikufuku, my [name], use her abilities without holding back."

Obeisance to the Arrow - Noritoshi Kamo
#8 : Ice-Cream Date
[why should you trust Noritoshi Kamo? Why should he trust you?]
[tw: noritoshi kamo x reader, arranged marriage, Danny DeVito, forced marriage, child marriage, small filler chapter a bit to round out the plot, omg they’re getting along, house captivity, fluff]
#7 - Jealousy, Jealousy
Tumblr media
“This is not fun at all.” You huff at Noritoshi Kamo. “I want to throw flying kicks.”
Your husband has got you doing warm-up shit for the past half an hour: running, touching toes, stretching. For someone who spitefully promised to replace Kanato, his half-brother, as your martial arts tutor, he’s not letting you do much of martial arts. Only the promise of letting you shoot arrows from his bow is making you not immediately leave the training room.
“You’ll injure yourself if you do all that without any prior training. We’ll go step-by-step. Now–” Kamo leans over you from behind, lightly pulling your waist to correct your downward dog form (you reckon your blush can be put down to exercise; you’re just 14 after all). “– Distil me, and predict my next movements. That’s useful in combat.”
Is this a test? Noritoshi knows that you’re strictly forbidden from using your cursed technique, under the threat of heavy punishment. Maybe he’s trying to get me into trouble so I can’t go to Jujutsu High. But… didn’t he sign my school admission papers himself? Did he change his mind?
“I never use Distillation, not since I came here.” You’re not taking any chances. Going to Jujutsu High is literally the only way you can be independent. Or else you live the rest of your life like Miyumi Kamo does: disrespected and discarded once her use was over. So you lie through your teeth: “I don’t even remember how to use it.”
“It’s impossible to forget your cursed technique. It’s engraved onto your brain, body and soul. So go ahead, Distil me.”
What game are you playing, Kamo?
“I can’t.”
“You already did, didn’t you?” Your heart skips a beat. Fuck. “Every night when you think I’m asleep. So go ahead now,” Kamo face is straight, no taste of humour or anger in it. “Read my thoughts.”
There’s no point hiding it now. You’re struck seeing your situations so plainly: Noritoshi Kamo is the heir of the opulent and influential Kamo Clan. You are his wife and nothing more. He has the power to decide whether your cursed technique usage goes punished or praised. He has the power to ruin your life. Right when you were forming buds of friendship, you are starkly reminded of the difference between your stations.
And you can’t not be you. “I don’t take commands.” I’m fucking this up so bad. “You might be angry about the whole Kanato thing, but don’t burden me with your issues. I don’t take commands.” Shit. I’m done for. I’m not going to Jujutsu High, am I?
You don't understand Kamo, not even after all the times you've read his mind through and through, because he simply nods. Nothing more. “A request then?” He makes an effort, you can tell, to soften his voice.
You stand still like a statue. All he was trying was to give some space to practise your cursed technique; he just ended up pushing you back into your shell. Or rather a fortress, where you, a scared little child, hoard other people’s secrets, to be used against them when the time comes... the only defence you have. And to think that he was actually doing so well trying to get you to come out of there. How do I fix this?
“Do you want to go out for ice-cream?”
Your eyes open wide in shock. You’re usually not allowed to leave the Kamo estate; the last time you did was maybe 2 years ago? You don’t even remember.
“Out?”
“It’ll be my treat, don’t worry. No one will say anything.”
Can he actually do that? Can he convince the elders? You’re a threat to society, you’ve internalised that by this point. Isn’t it wrong for you to go out?
—---
“I love going out! This is AMAZING!” You can’t stop taking pictures of everything- everyone! So many people! So many things to see! The smell of roasting dalgona, the lanterns hanging from cables overhead, the latest streetwear-clad bikers smoking, the businessman walking briskly, the mother scolding her children! Aeon Mall, Porta, Kyoto Station Building– you’re going through all of them, making the most out of your day out!
“You’ll be able to go out whenever you want when you’re in Jujutsu High.” Kamo, carrying your many shopping bags, reminds you calmly. You seem to have gotten over prior spat.
“Take a picture of me here!” “I want to try double-decker donuts!” “Let’s get these Prada shawls, please, Noritoshi-san!”
She’s so lucky she was born into money. Noritoshi enjoys seeing you this ecstatically happy. It’s just the two of you, Kamo doesn’t need any bodyguards or handlers. As you sit for an Italian dinner, he decides that it’s okay to breach your previous topic.
“yn, I’m very curious–”
“Do you think those shoes that guy’s wearing are ugly? 'Cuz I think they’re Danny DeVito level ugly.”
“– Gossiping isn’t good. As I was saying, I really want to know how your powers work, yn. Would you be okay telling me?”
You laugh at him, cheeks full of penne alfredo. “I don’t know much either, frankly. I wasn’t allowed to look into it, you know. Besides, if you’re looking for a method to block it, give up. Not even Gojo Satoru could do that.”
Kamo’s eyes are keen. “Why not?”
“Because it works on photons of light. Gojo’s Infinity works on matter, not light, because otherwise he’d be invisible. Distillation can speed up light in a very specific way so that I can 'see' glimpses of the past... understand the story, in a way. Anything I perceive with my eyes, I can Distil. Everything I can see, I know.” You say. "I kept getting headaches because it was just too much information at once, so I made a Binding Vow. I have to ask a very specific question so that I get a very specific answer, but in exchange I get to know answers for at least 50 years back in the past."
To think this talent was to be wasted. “You’re incredible.” I’ll protect her. I’ll have to.
That also reminds him. “So all those times you Distilled me at night, you didn't ask if was sleeping?"
You smile sheepishly, "I was sure that you were."
He returns your smile. A rare moment. "So you know me, then?”
“Thoroughly.”
“Then you know that I am not your enemy.”
“I reckon.”
“And that I am trustworthy.”
You laugh. He might be as trustworthy as the sun, but you don’t know how to trust others. Still- "I'm sorry for Distilling you when you were asleep."
"I'd rather you ask me before you do that the next time. It's more polite." He uses the toasted bread to scoop up some pasta sauce. You copy him. "I see that there's no point keeping secrets from you?"
"Absolutely none."
"Then it's my right that you keep none from me, either."
Eh? He's not wrong but... He's asking you to trust him. Like friends do. Like married couples do. For all that he is, Noritoshi Kamo has no leverage in front of his wife: you alone decide how much you want to reveal to him.
"Alright, then. Whatever you ask me, I'll answer you honestly, as long as it is okay to do so." You promise. Kamo wipes a smidge of sauce from your cheek with a tissue. His way of saying, "Thank you."
“Noritoshi-san, teach me to spar properly. I don’t want to appear so weak among my classmates.”
“Is that a command?” You’re about to excuse yourself when you notice that he’s smiling. Holy fuck, he’s making a joke??
“Yes, Lord Kamo.” You play along.
“As you wish, Lady Kamo.”
