Sat there, a birds nest of hair with pinked creases of SLEEP still drawn over her arms and face, he could not find it in himself to be disapproving. Try as he might. He doesn’t often waste his time teaching ( or attempting to ), especially concerning the subject of etiquette. 

But he had made an endeavor. Choice BORN out of the listlessness of his every day. And perhaps, somewhere inside of his black little heart, he simply MISSED the girl in her prolonged absence.

“ You are hopeless. ” Spoken with such exasperated fondness, the accompanying shake of his head was mostly for show.
