Diluc followed along and tried his best not to look too unenthused, reminding himself that he was there for a reason: to get experience. He didn’t have to stay long.

“Right here. This will be your desk and computer. Feel free to decorate, if you want,” the HR representative went on, steering him toward the cubicle at the end of one of the rows. “Why don’t you get comfortable and I’ll send IT to get you set up?”

“Thank you…” he said as he stood at the opening of the cube, but he made no move to step inside or, as they said, ‘make himself comfortable’ because the cubicle was very much not vacant. He tilted his head, but said nothing, assuming that he’d soon be introduced to the young lady currently sitting in his chair.

I finished my 3rd Daedream patch which...my camera makes extremely difficult to photograph. This one is available for sale ✨💤

I went with normal threads and adding metallic sparkle threads this time round. I'd have liked to simply do the hair thing by the template and individualise each sparkle location on the patch differently, but that meant displacing the existing threads in some cases. So I guess going forward I'll have to roughly pre-plan sparkle location before the colors are down. I tried a new way of pre-stitching some colors to keep the template as intact as possible this time round, as well as to help remove the interfacing safely down the line, and I think it might have helped? I also heavily debated on the main hair body lower lilac color being more pink hue, so I think I'll try that thread combination instead next time. My first ones used green felt backing, and I thought pink would be more fitting. I doubt I'll use pink again, as it blends with the outlines a bit too much.
