no one was more surprised than joe himself when his instagram exchange with madison escalated to the point where he flat-out asked her to come meet him in cincinnati. the chemistry he felt through the screen was too strong to be denied even though they had never met and this was their first time even speaking to each other. the suspense and thrill of it all had him rocking on the balls of his feet as he reached into his pocket to view the incoming text from madison notifying him of her arrival. not long after he buzzed the gate open for her did joe open his front door to watch the car he'd sent to the airport to pick madison up come rolling up in his direction. one corner of his lips turned up into a lazy half-grin as he went to open the passenger seat and found madison, even more gorgeous in person, in his line of vision. Joe hated events like these. Despised them, even. He honestly didn’t even want to be here. He’d much rather be back at home doing nothing as opposed to rubbing elbows with people he barely knew. However, he sucked it up and was going to try to enjoy himself for the next two weeks. It couldn’t be that bad, right? Up until he decided to come back to his room, drink in hand. Joe knew that everyone on the trip had been paired with a roommate, but his had yet to show up, so he was intrigued to find out who it would end up being. Though, when he slid the key card into the lock and pushed the door open, he came face-to-face with the absolute last person he wanted to see right now. “Oh, you have got to be fucking kidding me.” The quarterback said with a dramatic roll of his eyes as he walked through room, then set his drink down on a nearby table and folded his arms across his chest in a display of anger. “Did you put this up to the people who organized the event or what? ‘Cause I know I never asked to room with you. Damnit, i cant take this shit anymore, im so itching to post my ugly ass pieces of shit. It feels like centuries of me not posting here and its killing me. So. Much.

I have a handful amount of shits to post and im a bit free rn and tomorrow (sunday) and then, ugh, back to the cycle (school sched) *sigh* i hate this part. Luckily—or unluckily—we have an alternating schedule (f2f classes and then next day modular/distance learning, smth like that) up to the last day of april.

And then on May--oh damn fuck i dont wanna remember those damn deadlines, im just gonna do a little bit of shit here cuz i cant stand doing NOTHING in here!

Also, lemme tell ya what i did while i was off posting. I watched the MADiSON gameplay and it was horrifying! I loved it! And the Bendy: Secrets of the Machine. Ngl, im hyped up for the upcoming games! XD My favorite part of that game is prolly the bendy mannequin(?)/doll easter egg where you get to hear it whispering behind you (ifyk the secret of the audio, yk hshshshhs), and that mystery box from batds, not gonna spoil whats in the surprise XD

As soon as Vanessa had found out that Madison was going to be alone, she had purchased plane tickets for her and River to go make sure she was okay. And because she just wanted to see her, even if the reason she was coming had her filled with contradicting feelings. One on hand, she hated that Madison was upset and going through a break up, it made her sad to know the other was sad. One another, she couldn’t deny that she was happy that Madison was single again as her feelings for the girl hadn’t gone away. It had been a quick last day on set for Nessa, only needing to complete a scene or two before she was free to make her way to the airport. Thankfully, River was the easiest baby to travel with and was happy to play for almost the entire flight which made it go by faster than she had expected. Now she was pushing River’s stroller with one hand, and pulling her suitcase with another as she made her way towards Madison’s door. River had fallen asleep during the cab ride from the airport, finally napping after a long flight, and Vanessa was a selfishly grateful for it so that she could focus on Maddie only for right now. And she’d be lying if she said there weren’t butterflies as she finally knocked on the door, stepping back with a smile on her face to wait until the door opened. “Surprise,” she grinned, her face lighting up as she looked at Madison for the first time in person since the trip. @maddiehq

“i haven’t gone anywhere,” she lies, though the very fact that they’re having this conversation - face to face, madison’s body leaning against the doorframe as she tugs on her high pony, flexing her legs absentmindedly to keep her energy contained, pushing herself to her tip toes up and down again and again - proves that she has. that she’s long gone, trying to leave her behind, trying to find some happiness. “we’ve just been busy. you have him - “ she really, really tried to keep the venom out of her voice, because she knows he’s good for her - “ and i’ve started seeing someone else. from central.” 

she hadn’t planned on letting it slip, but it’s true, and it hangs there between them. it’s new, this thing between her and jessica, but it’s fun. easy. secret - that’s the most important part. a rival cheerleader on her arm is the last thing any of them can take right now. “plus with cheer, and homework, and college apps - we’re fine. just a little distracted. you can stop whining to the rest of the squad about it now,” she offers a smile, but it doesn’t reach her eyes - no matter what her facade, she knows the other will see right through it anyways.

What the hell? Somehow Finn had allowed Regan to talk him into using tonight to spill his guts about his Madison feelings. And for some reason, he had agreed to it. He had no idea why. Maybe it was because he knew deep down she was right. He had to do something. So, he sat there in his truck for a few extra moments, knowing Ringo was judging him for taking so long to get him out (because Madison was right—Ringo did love her more), and he fiddled with the RingPops in his hands. He wasn’t one to let a joke go. He promised the girl a RingPop, and he was going to make her laugh at least once before he took the plunge and ruined their friendship forever. 

He stuffed the candy down into his pocket and scooped up Ringo as he hopped out of the truck. Slamming the door with his hip, he stopped and took one last deep breath before making his way up to her door. He offered Ringo a few head scratches and held him close to his body as they waited outside. There was no way the poor puppy wasn’t freezing. 

“Hey hey,” he greeted once the door swung open. He attempted to rid himself of whatever lame uneasy smile he was giving off and replaced it with a more relaxed one. One that hopefully seemed a lot more normal. “I brought everything I promised. A tired Finn. An excited puppy. And there may or may not be a certain ring-shaped candy in my pocket.”

TAYLOR: He was pent up, to say the least he needed to get rid of it. Madison wasn't helping either. Making his way into the shower, he turned it on and stripped down to nothing before standing under the water and tried to relax. It took only a minute for his back to hit the wall and for him to make the choice to try and take care of his issue. Closing his eyes, he groaned and let his hand prop him up on the wall as he faced forward towards the water and tried to focus between the door and himself.
