cassie was born and raised in gateway city by her mom, helena. her dad left before she was born so her mom raised her on her own and she spent a lot of her time at the museum. she tended to get in a lot of trouble as a kid but was quick to befriend her moms coworker, diana prince.
cassie tended to be a problem child and frequently had to change schools, throughout her teens she attended 5 different high schools due to getting into trouble. lets just say she doesn’t know how to handle her anger.
she discovers she’s the daughter of zeus ( they literally leave it out but it’s assumed she finds out by working with wonder woman as she acquires the sandals of hermes and the gauntlet of atlas ) and confronts him on why he abandoned her and her mother. he denies ever knowing the two and thus angers cassie causing them to get into a fight. ( she later finds out her mom knew and this strains the relationship between the two greatly, as well as the fact that she can deactivate her powers. )
after talking though, zeus grants her her own powers but gave her mom the ability to deactivate them if needed. this of course angers cassie as she thinks she can handle herself and to her surprise her mom is actually accepting of her new powers. artemis was assigned as her teacher thus taking her back to themyscira for training.
her whole life, cassie idolize donna troy, wanted to be just like her. so when she was able to be a superhero, she disguised herself in a black wig so she could look like her. donna even gives her her second costume she wore as wonder girl but because she was too afraid to ruin it, she makes her own.
shortly after she joins young justice ( i don’t really like the whole ‘she joined only bc she was in love with superboy’ so im not going w it lmao. she’s more than just a simp. ) and quickly became besties with the gals of the group!
she hid her identity for awhile, working with young justice on a variety of missions until she was forced to reveal her identity when oblivion attacked. she helped the crowds escape and thus having to reveal herself as wonder girl. and she now no longer wore the black wig. her identity was also revealed when she was attacked at school by silver swan.
shortly after this she’s voted in as the leader of young justice and she still is the leader today!
pretty much still works with young justice / teen titans today. i’m so lazy i don’t wanna write the whole thing out for the teen titans but she works with them as well after young justice originally disbanded and starts dating superboy yuh, sexy.
during this time though cassie was losing her powers as zeus once again tried to dip from the mortal plane and ares gave her her powers back as well as her lasso and amulets. though he does betray her eventually and she helps fight and defeat him with hercules, YUH!
than superboy gets k worded and dies in her arms so she’s forever TRAUMATIZED by that ladies and gentlemen, no she’s not over it ty. we also ignore the whole trying to clone him and joining a cult thing my girl ain’t that fuckin weird.
still works with the teen titans afterwards after she collects herself, and during this time she felt very very alone because bart was dead, tim wasn’t answering her and diana was off fightin ppl. it angered her and left her feeling abandoned as she had to process the death of kon and bart alone. but eventually she breaks down in front of donna because she couldn’t handle it anymore lmao.
her wiki’s are accessible if y’all wanna read ‘em i am TIRED LMAO. she’s just a baddie who loves her team and cares about them a lot, thank you.

Wonder Woman’s Comics and Teams
Ok, since I first started thinking about it, I wanted to summarize all the comic titles featuring Wonder Woman or her cast, as far as I know about at least. This would probably work better if I ha another list of Superman and Batman’s comics to compare with, but this is just for curiosity’s sake anyway.
Does not include tie-in issues, event comics or old Elseworld comics (for the time being).
PS: Because of Wondy’s connection to mythology, I like to call her version of the Batfamily the Wonder Pantheon, but this is not widespread (YET). My desire to use that instead of “Wonder Woman’s cast” was HUGE.
Titles written in both Black’n’Italics are either ongoing titles/teams, comics from DC Rebirth, or comics still in canon.
Comics starring Wonder Woman:
All-Star Comics (1940-1951, 1976-1978) Only appeared in #8 as an introduction which was later retold in Sensation Comics #1.
Sensation Comics (1942-1952) Appeared from beginning and stopped at either #56 or later. The series lasted till #166, though from #110 to #116 was known as Sensation Mysteries. My personal dream for Wonder Woman is that DC Comics reintroduces Sensation Comics from #117 and onward, like they did with Superman’s Action Comics and Batman’s Detective Comics, to truly make her part of the trinity.
Wonder Woman (1942- ) Has been produced since 1942 with various renumberings and volumes, with only a short hiatus in the ‘80s. At first had three different stories about Wonder Woman & Co.’s adventures per issue, later become one story that might be continued in the next issue. Keep in mind that only the issues from 2011 onward are considered canon, though a lot of the story elements from 2011-2016 are partly retconned to be an illusion.
Comic Cavalcade (1943-1954) Appeared from #1 to #29.
Superman/Wonder Woman (2012-2016) A team-up book in New 52, where Supes and Wondy explored a romantic relationship while battling their enemies. (Even if they are no longer together, Trinity #1 and Wonder Woman #9 confirm that Wondy and Red!Supes had a relationship, so it is added as current canon)
Sensation Comics ft. Wonder Woman (2014) A one-year weekly series where different writers tell stories of Wonder Woman in various continuities and times.
The Legend of Wonder Woman (2015-2016) Inspired by the 2017 Wonder Woman movie’s setting, it retells Wonder Woman’s origin story.
Wonder Woman: Earth One (2016) Retells Wonder Woman’s origins for a newer audience, as the author tries to bring back some themes from Marston’s original run.
Wonder Woman ‘77 (2015- ) A comic that continues the adventures of Lynda Carter’s Wonder Woman TV series. From 2016 onward there also are subseries Wonder Woman ‘77 Meets The Bionic Woman, and Batman ‘66 Meets Wonder Woman ‘77.
Comics starring Wonder Woman’s cast:
Wonder Girl (2007-2008, 2011) One limited series about the second Wonder Girl, Cassie Sandsmark, helping her half-brother while exploring her independence. The 2011-issue was a one-shot where Cassie reunites with her mother and meets the new hero Solstice.
Forever Evil: A.R.G.U.S. (2013-2014) Limited series about Steve Trevor and his team of agents. While part of New 52 before Rebirth, Steve was still part of ARGUS, so I keep it here.
Odyssey of the Amazons (2016-2017) Limited series prequel to Wonder Woman’s birth, tells the story of some amazons looking for more of their people.
Wonder Woman: Steve Trevor (2017) One-shot where Wonder Woman’s boyfriend, Steve Trevor, goes on a secret mission with some old friends.
Teams with Wonder Woman:
(OBS: Because I don’t really care for team comics, I know very little about how the various Justice teams work and where Wonder Woman fits, so please correct me if I’m wrong so I can edit it! Also, because there are various versions, I skipped writing dates on the team sections.)
All-Star Squadron I think she appeared since the first issue, but I don’t know much more than that. All-Star Squadron was apparently a HUGE hero team that kind of consisted of both solo heroes as well as teams like the Justice Society.
Justice Society of America She was a member of JS Pre-Crisis. Post-Crisis, Diana herself has never been a member, but a retcon made it so Hippolyta was the Wonder Woman of the Golden Age, and so was a member of the Justice Society.
Justice League of America Was first a founder, then Post-Crisis had that title replaced by Black Canary because of timeline changes. Then a later retcon made her a founding member again. At some point when they created a Justice League without “of America”, she was no longer is part of JLA. In New 52, the JLA is a counter-League against the original JL.
Justice League Is a founding member of the Justice League.
Trinity While not an official team, Wonder Woman is considered one of DC Comics’ top three super-heroes, along with Superman and Batman. Various iteration of series with this name tells stories these three go through together.
Teams with Wonder Woman’s cast:
Teen Titans (I) A team of side-kicks that includes Wonder Girl. Originally just a younger Wonder Woman, Donna Troy was accidentally created when they used Wonder Girl in this team. This IS technically in canon in DC Rebirth, but wether the old comics are canon or the team’s existence is canon is not confirmed.
Titans When the original Teen Titans grew up, they reformed the team but dropped the “Teen” part, leaving that for the next generation. At this point Donna either has the alias Troia, or just goes by her name.
Infinity, Inc. A team of next-gen superheroes with their own aliases. Earth-2!Diana’s daughter Hippolyta “Lyta” Trevor is a member through her hero-name Fury.
Young Justice Where the first wave of sidekicks formed Teen Titans, the second wave founded Young Justice, where the second Wonder Girl, Cassie Sandsmark, was a part of. She later became so popular through this comic that she became the team leader, despite being the only one of the “Core Four” (four of the original members that were sidekicks/juniors of bigger heroes) who did not have her own comic at the time.
Teen Titans (II) Post-Crisis, there were more waves of members before 2003 and New 52, the latter which DC Rebirth clarifies is the second iteration of Teen Titans. Here there are less sidekicks and more individual members. Wonder Girl II joins this team with YJ’s Core Four sidekicks and is its leader for a while. The comic explores her romantic relationship with Superboy, and later Robin, as well as her other friendships. In DC Rebirth’s present, there is a third Teen Titans led by the fifth Robin, Damian Wayne, but there are no Wonder Girl there.
The Outlaws (Red Hood and the Outlaws) I don’t know if Artemis is an amazon of Themyscira or of Bana-Mighdall in DC Rebirth, since I don’t follow this series, but she is from Wonder Woman’s mythos so here she is.
Oddfellows, A.R.G.U.S. (Forever Evil: A.R.G.U.S., Wonder Woman: Steve Trevor) Steve used to be a member of the organization ARGUS, and within ARGUS was a team called Oddfellows that feature support characters from the 2017 Wonder Woman movie.
