▬▬▬ ☾☆      There’s a smirk on  Della’s  face  as  she  stares  right  back  at  Donald,  holding  back  her  laugh.  He  just  got  so  worked  up!  Her  eyes  leave  his  for  a  moment,  looking  at  the  wand  in  his  hand  &&  then  up  to  the  floating  guitar.

“Wouldn’t dream of it.” Donald shoots back, giving the teenager an amused grin. “It’s just a question. Would you like to sleep in Webby’s room or would you be more comfortable here on the couch?”

                    If  there  was  anything  she  didn’t  want  to  talk  about  right  now  --  it  was  this.  She  spent  a  frankly,  unhealthy  amount  of  time  trying  not  to  think  about  the  mistake  she  made  by  taking  the  Spear  of  Selene.  How  was  she  supposed  to  answer  Donald?  She  couldn’t  say  it  wasn’t  her  fault  or  that  she  didn’t  mean  it.  She  took  that  rocket  of  her  own  volition.  Nobody  forced  her  to  do  that.  Sure,  her  plan  was  to  orbit  the  Earth  &&  come  back  --  a  few  hours  at  most.  But  she  couldn’t  comment  on  that.  Not  without  setting  Donald  off.  That  was  the  last  thing  she  wanted.  

                    He  was  asking  her  a  valid  question.  It  was  a  question  she’d  asked  herself  for  ten  years.  If  she  would’ve  just  listened  to  Donald --- no,  she  couldn’t  send  herself  down  this  path  again.  Every  passing  moment  that  she  didn’t  speak  felt  like  an  eternity.  There  was  no  more  running  away  from  this  conversation,  she  supposed. 

                              ❝Don’t you think I ask myself the same thing? Donald--- I.. I made stupid decisions. && unfortunately, losing my family is how I had to learn  my lesson. That just... it absolutely kills me. The fact of the matter is that I can try all I want but I can never, never make up for not being there for my family. For my boys.❞

                    Della  hated  that  she  was  starting  to  tear  up.  She’d  been  so  good  about  not  letting  her  family  see  her  cry.  But  now,  facing  her  twin,  she  couldn’t  keep  it  together  anymore.  How  was  she  expected  to?

▬▬▬ ☾☆      Donald’s words didn’t come  as  a  surprise  to  her.  She  knew  that  this  was  coming.  Their  uncle’s  behavior  had  been  increasingly  concerning  &&  if  they  didn’t  do  something  soon,  who  knew  what  would  happen.  So,  Della  sighed  &&  put  the  blanket  back  over  her  eggs  so  that  they’d  be  warm  before  turning  around  to  look  at  her  brother.

   The hedgehog paused, blinking in befuddlement as he watches the (bald) duck pace past him. Black eyes flicker to the ground, noting the trail of feathers left in Donald’s wake. It’s promptly followed by a cringe, shuffling his sneaker away from the fluffy white litter quickly. Eesh. I’ve heard of quilling before, but this is somethin’ else.

   He’s not slow to catch up, backpedaling next to the bird as he takes a better look at him.

            Somehow I feel like this is your Revenge, bUT I LOVE!!! MY FRIENDS!!! SO MUCH!! I CAN’T EVEN BE MAD! I can promise I’ll probably forget some people because when I do these things, suddenly I forget literally everybody I know and love writing with SO JUST KNOW THAT I ADORE EVERY SINGLE ONE OF MY DISNEY MUTUALS!!!! 

          So of course I have to start with @dreamtcloud​ bc ROCK IS EVERYTHING. We vibe so well with every single one of our characters, but to be specific to disney, I will have to go with Webby and OG Darkwing as my faves! (Yes I know you all expected me to say Gyro and there is a reason I picked other characters uwu). But just from discord shenanigans and the little bit that Rock has written for them so far, they have really managed to nail Webby and OG Drake. Rock is fantastic and basically at this point if you’re following me you should be following them too, we’re a package deal. Honestly, we share a braincell and 90% of the time our braincell is on vacation. We’re dumbasses but we own it uwu 

@briilliance​ - they write a lot of disney muses and i love them aLL. BUT to be more specific, some of my ultimate faves on their list are: Mabel, Pacifica, Huey, Launchpad, Panchito and Fenton!! I can hear their voices in everything Alex writes (LP is like, my ultimate ultimate fave - Alex writes him SO WELL OKAY) and they’re just an absolute delight! 

@voidfcllen​ - ZAK ALSO WRITES INCREDIBLY ON POINT CHARACTERS!!! Drake, Gladstone, Louie and Boyd  -  I adore them all!!! I have so much fun plotting shenanigans and honestly just weeping about all of these characters together. 

@scroogemcdork​ / @tychcros​ / @rcwrittcn​ - Toxi is a huge part of why I ended up watching DT17 tbh! Toxi puts so much into their DT muses, and it is honestly inspiring. On another note, their GF muses??? good shit good shit, I love their Ford more than anything else, and we will never 4get our first interaction was just crippling angst. I adore Toxi sm and 10/10 would recommend following them.

@warraigoe​ / @ragefeathers​ - OF COURSE I GOTTA REP HARI !!! I would die for Hari, their muses are all so well written and their Donald??? ONE OF MY FAVES EVER. It’s super fun writing with Hari because they have such fresh takes and also we write a lot of the same characters, so we can switch up dynamics fairly often! I’m super glad I got the chance to know Hari and be their friend, they’re honestly a delight to be around. I couldn’t ask for a better friend to have! 

@yoakkemae​ - gets mentioned too because Ben. ALWAYS BEN. I love their Ben more than I love air. Everything Satan has done with Ben is genius and their canon for him is really the canon I follow for Descendants at this point. I would die for Satan and I have deff already sold my soul to them sO YEAH. THAT’S A THING. 

@spiriitum​ - So like I feel like I just have to talk about how much I love Emma’s Varian, even though we don’t really interact on this blog??? I still love our twin au for Varian and Vitas,  even if I’m not really on my blog right now. WE STAN EMMA IN THIS HOUSE!
