SOME STUPID STUFF about crestau (canon divergent pkmn au if you don't wanna see that u don't have to interact)!! UNDER THE CUT!!!! it's super messy and unorderly i'm so sorry

he used to work as a judge (formal title is iudex judge of truth, iudex is just judge in latin lol there's a lot of latin in this au) with ingo actually!! but emmet got terminated from his job after breaking out a prisoner arceus personally wanted dead.. the prisoner's name is yun, she's an oc hehe

about crestau's name; you can either say crestau as one word or just crest AU, i like to refer to it with either pronunciation haha

AND for how crests themselves work, here's a simple definition from my google doc on the au! the google doc is super lengthy and unfinished so i won't be linking it,, sorry :(

crests only show up on the body when the ability is being used; so whenever emmet manipulates heat or conjures his flames, his crest (which would be the flame-like markings on the left side of his face) show up! ingo is in this au (i literally never draw him though but he has a design,,) and he's crested with zekrom! the people of unova have coined them nicknames as the left hand of truth and right hand of ideals

OH speaking of ingo, submas in this au never gets separated BUT their relationship is heavily strained for roughly 100 years lol but it does get resolved after a huge fight between the two

some fun character trivia/details about cremmet (how my friends and i refer to crestau emmet):

his favorite dish is cream stew!! it's something ingo always made for him whenever he found himself sick and he derives a lot of comfort from it his birthday is june 19th!! his zodiac is gemini the twinsss hehe he's 6"4 (193cm) but with his heels, he's 6"7 (200cm) roughly 130 something years old flamma veritatis is the name of reshiram's crest, it's latin for flame of truth! his last name is vanderbilt

his claymore has a name, it's chalybe sol (steel sun) and it's a reference to yun (the aforementioned prisoner he broke out) and her specialty in pokemon with steel/fire types! it can. cut through the mantle of the earth,,,,, actually anything butterfly related in his outfit (hat accessory, ear cuff/earring, coat) is an homage to yun who he thought was dead for 113 years
