            She joked with him,  the  grin  making  that  obvious.

Instinct was a funny thing. It was what kept a person alive sometimes, and it definitely was one of the first things to kick in. He recognized the voice- how could he not? He adored Gosalyn; she was a great kid, spunky, energetic, smart. And as much time as he spent around Drake nowadays, it meant he spent time around Gosalyn as well.

He thought of her as part of their family. So the sudden stab, the mention of Steelbeak- no, something was very wrong.

The pain registered, but in his mind, something clicked back over. His training as an agent prompted him to move, and with a speed that seemed startling from a man his size, he bolted after the girl.

The pain was secondary, as was the injury. The only thought on his mind was catching Gosalyn and finding out what in the world was going on with her, why she’d done this, what Steelbeak had to do with all of this... what FOWL had to do with this by association.

As soon as he got some speed, he shifted his weight and lunged, his intention being to sweep her up into his arms and roll, keeping her pinned without hurting her as best as he was able.

Okay so, Launchpad? My absolute favorite rp blog for him is definitely @heroiic-pilot. I started interacting with them when I was still pretty early to Ducktales, and it was so great that we could write in both 1987 and 2017 Ducktales. When I read their work I can hear Launchpad! Both versions!

Next we got Dewey

I have to point out @calvinsmuses who rps best friend to Gos. I love the way they rp Dewey. I can see Dewey in the show doing everything they write, they're so on point in their characterization. Not to mention any rps we do over Discord/Among Us, always fun. Not to mention Dewey declaring nearly every adult "dad shaped". My Steelbeak is already trying to slide the adoption papers over.

I'd also have to talk about @tunnagan's Deuteronomy au. I haven't interacted with that verse much myself, but I enjoy reading any threads that cross my dash. It's a good AU that I think is a very interesting "What if...".

And @decanard and their older Dewey. Like it's so creative and right now I enjoy reading it when it passes on the dash. Not to mention the edits they make for that verse? I love their edits. It was actually their eye color edits that inspired me to start making edits myself, like giving Steelbeak different eye colors.
