Fic Idea: 3
I truly adore the idea of a First Words soulmate au (the first words your soulmate says to you are inked on your skin) where Endeavor burns Shoto's words to shit when he's a baby so he doesn't know what they are. I'm also imagining that all words appear over the heart. But anyway Shoto can see that it clearly used to be a huge block of text because the dark part that used to make up the black words is still present, just burned to shit and very blurry because Endeavor MELTED his baby's skin with his hand. (You bet your ass Rei was PISSED). So Shoto knows that whoever his soulmate is says a LOT of things to him before Shoto gets the chance to respond
Shoto had probably decided that the only way he could tell if someone was his soulmate was to not speak first and then say something odd. So knowing this and wanting nothing more than to connect with this person who's meant for him so he can finally have something to look forward to in life, he comes up with the five most disconnected words in existence and whenever someone rambles at him upon meeting him, he says those five words (imagine like: frog, ashtray, lollipop, sailboat, molecule. This galaxy brained fool.)
Cut to UA. He's first meeting Izuku and our curly haired nerd goes on rambling about how cool Shoto's quirk is, fire AND ice, like holy wow, the things Shoto could do with THAT. Oh BOY does Izuku have ideas and QUESTIONS oh my he just wants to sit Shoto down and pick his brain. And after saying all of this and then getting a little bashful because he realized he was like rambming/muttering at Shoto, Shoto responds with, "Frog, ashtray, lollipop, sailboat, molecule," and promptly breaks Izuku's brain 😆 who's THRILLED to meet his soulmate
They have a cute little exchange that they cut short cause there are other people around and promise to meet up after school.
When they meet up after school Shoto and Izuku both want to see each other's words. Shoto kind of angrily explains about Endeavor burning his words but then Izuku is like, how'd you know to say the thing then? (Cause he'd seen him talk to other people and he'd never heard him say THAT). So Shoto shows him the scar so Izuku can see exactly how much real estate used to be taken up by black skin and explains that he knew that whoever his soulmate was, was going to say a lot of things to him when he first met them so he'd decided not to speak to anyone new first and to have a "code" of sorts to respond with so he knows if they were really his soulmate (this is something a lot of kids try and do but eventually grow out of because it's a pain in the ass so it isn't very common for people to actually choose to or remember to stick with it.) And Izuku is a little embarrassed but also kind of delighted by how smart Shoto is and how determined he was to figure out who Izuku was.
Now it's important to know that if I can fit the three of them together in an idea I ABSOLUTELY WILL.
So.
This is where Shoto asks to see Izuku's words to verify that they're really soulmates.
And this is where Izuku gets really shy and nervous.
Because he has two sets of words and he has no idea is Shoto ALSO has two sets because Shoto’s FATHER pro fucking hero ENDEAVOR melted his child's fucking chest. So he gets all bashful and decides that he really just had to explain.
So he does and then he pounds his shirt up for Shoto and tugs down the band that people traditionally use to keep their words covered while changing in group settings.
There are Shoto's words clear as day.
And just underneath that is, "My name isn't KACCHAN it's KATSUKI! Get it right!"
And Shoto is kind of floored.
Can't imagine that he personally had two soulmates, much less that Bakugou is one of them.
Nonetheless though, the next time he sees Bakugou alone (who he hasn't spoken to yet) he says his list of unrelated words.
And watched in pure surprise and shock as Katsuki's face goes completely blank before he scowls and yells, "You're the fucking reason that stupid shit's on my chest?!"
Cue Shoto, Katsuki, and Izuku figuring their way around a very messy and new relationship and bonding over their mutual hatred of Endeavor

Horror Movies I Remember Watching As A Kid👻
🩸👻🩸👻🩸👻🩸👻🩸👻🩸👻🩸👻🩸👻🩸👻🩸👻
Valentine (2001)
Tumblr media
Oh this! Now this movie I would watch every opportunity I got. When it was on TV for Valentines Day I'd watch it while surrounded by chocolates and when it was over, I'd catch the repeat on the next channel! Ah I remember lying on the couch (unfortunately I was sick with flu at the time) surrounded by chocolate and Sprite and my plushies, comfy blanket and all just chilling and watching the movie start to finish. The nostalgia just brings back good memories. Love this movie😊 Also I always thought the killer looked deadly especially with the arrow scene, definitely Cupid got skills in archery!
Friday The 13th: Jason Takes Manhatten
Tumblr media
I'm a big fan of Jason since I was a kid yet you'd be surprised that I haven't even watch HALF of the Friday The 13th movies. I remember only I think the one where the little kid is in it. But this movie got me hooked on the Friday The 13th and Jason Voorhees became my favourite slasher. Though I love the Nightmare On Elm Street franchise, you'll always find me cheering for Jason in Freddy vs Jason. Plus this movie has a killer beat theme song!😆
Nightmare On Elm Street
Tumblr media
Now, to pick one favourite from the Nightmare On Elm Street would be difficult to say the least, not to mention that I can't cover all movies but luckily I only have really 3 movies I love in the franchise.
To start off, the first movie was my favourite. It was scary watching as a kid but that didn't stop me! The first one was brilliant and still is to this day. I would watch it a few days before Halloween and it just added to the atmosphere😊
Now the next one would be Dream Warriors because I liked the idea of the kids teaming up and using their dreams to fight Freddy. It was pretty cool to me as a kid at the time and to be honest, it's still cool to me😊
New Nightmare is another brilliant movie and the Freddy in it had just that absolute scare factor, like he just got even more scarier. The new claw glove in it was badass too and the storyline was very well put together. I loved it and its actually one of my sister's favourites too!😊
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974)
Tumblr media
When I first watched this movie with my brothers, the scene at night in the woods and Leatherface coming out of freaking nowhere with the chainsaw scared the absolute shit out of me! Not gonna lie. But after the shock wore off I grew to love the first movie as it was scary as hell but I appreciated how it was put together to give you the best scare factor.
I did see number 2 of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and yes it was crazy as fuck but I do adore only certain horror movies that have that bat crazy factor and this movie got it. I love it!😆
Skinned Deep
Tumblr media
I got this movie as a kid as a present. Now first lemme get this out of the way by saying it's okay if you never heard of this film nor be aware of it's existence. That's because to the small community of fans of this movie it's regarded as a cult movie so while it's not popular with the mainstream movie community it's popular to a select few. I never heard of this movie either but I still have it to this day and for a reason.
Yes, take it from me it's VERY weird. Like more crazy than Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2. It's in some way similar to Texas Chainsaw Massacre but just amped up on the crazy factor. I do love the design of the Surgeon General (Bear Trap Guy Above⬆️). On scary factor it is more freaky factor but it does hold up. Now if you did see this movie your opinions may differ from mine so I'd like to hear your thoughts on the movie😊
Interview With The Vampire
Tumblr media
I love vampires. Hell I wanted to be a vampire since I was a kid! Well my canines are pointed more than normal so yeah, I got fangs😂 Anyway this movie goes up there on my top vampire movies list next to Bram Stoker's Dracula. I'm a total Lestat fan. Like if I was a vampire I would be like Lestat. Of course I loved Louise in it but as a kid I found him slightly whiny🤣 But now i found Louise more tolerable. Mum allowed me to stay up one Halloween dressed as a vampire to watch this, drinking sweet sugar juice made to look like blood and eating candy🩸🦇 Ahh memories!
Bram Stoker's Dracula
Tumblr media
My favourite Dracula movie alongside Christopher Lee's portrayal as the iconic vampire. This movie is so freaking good and love the storyline. Yeah it has the love story element to it but i don't care. I love the movie. And yes, I did want Mina and Dracula to live happily ever after!😂
Botched
Tumblr media
I watched this on the Horror Channel after my room was redecorated. It takes place in Russia and yes It's bonkers but it's funny like some scenes made me laugh till my stomach hurted. I later got the movie on DVD and still have it to this day. It's a gem in my movie collection honestly. The movie is in English in case you are wondering. If you watched it, please let me know what you think of the movie😊
The Lost Boys
Tumblr media
Another fave vampire movie of mine! Love David and his vampire biker crew in the film. They are a found family honestly and its cool! Watched this many times in the summertime as a kid and I would love to pretend I was one of them, like wearing shades around the house!😆 Very good movie! Also my favorite vampire crush is Marko🦇❤️😉
House On A Haunted Hill (1999)
Tumblr media
Oh the nostalgia that just hits me when I think about this movie! Oh this movie was scary, to me at least at the time but that's how I grew to love the genre of horror even more. Seriously this movie rocked for me as a kid. And that's how I knew the lyrics to "Sweet Dreams Are Made Of This" because of this movie. It bewildered my parents to hear me sing the full lyrics to the Eurythmics version of the song even though I heard the remixed version in the movie but I knew the lyrics. So yeah bonus points for this movie teaching me the lyrics😂🎶
And now I'm gonna wrap this up folks! I'll return hopefully to make part 2 of this so I hoped you enjoy and maybe check a few of these movies out yourselves! See you later!😉

Hi everyone! I'm new on Tumblr and would like to make a proper introduction, mainly so that my first post won't be something incredibly random 😆 Well, I don't want to get too personal with age, gender, looks, sexuality or social security numbers, so here are a few, certainly not all, of my fandoms (or rather fandoms that I would like to be a part of), in no particular order: Before I begin: it's important to note that quite often my opinion of a content is separated from my opinion of the creator. Most often I simply don't know or don't have the time to research what the creator does outside of their content so I wouldn't even know that someone else might think I support a certain opinion because I express my joy over someone's content.
So, here are some of the things I like: 😊
•The MCU (though these days there's too much content for me to watch so I just watch things with my favourite characters from the last phases)
•sometimes X-Men (mostly Cherick, one of my many ships)
•The Wizarding World (mainly Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts, but I've also read The Tales of Beedle The Bard). I still love the worldbuilding and the many characters even though I've been a bit distanced to it the last few years.
•The Umbrella Academy. I love a good soundtrack, lovable characters with family issues and awesome fight scenes. In the beginning I thought that Viktor would stay my favourite character but now there are so many others I love.
•The Picture of Dorian Gray (so far I've enjoyed the book and watched the beginning of the 1945 adaption)
•The Lonecast series by Amy Ewing. I love this series so much even though the dystopia idea (basically fantasy The Handsmaid's Tale) would usually be too disturbing for me ❤
•Flawed series by Cecilia Ahern. It's been a few years since my last read but why not put it on this list? I loved the speeches and the fast pacing
•The Hunger Games universe, with the prequel not entirely read because I could only read an extract and after that I dindn't have much time to read. I like dystopias, as long as they don't lean too much towards the horror genre.
•The Inheritance Games by Jennifer Lynn Barnes. I read the first book this year and am currently reading the second one. The plot just reminds me positively of: •Knives Out. The early reveal of the "killer" made this murder mystery something special along with the amazing acting & the realistic family dynamics.
•BBC Sherlock. I do like mysteries and detective stories as long as they are consistently entertaining and not just towards the end
•The Great Gatsby. I prefer the book but Baz Luhrmann's adaption has its good sides too.
•Snowwhite and the Huntsman/Winter's War: The Huntsman and the Ice Queen/hopefully 🥺 a next film (as long as it isn't just an out of character cash-grab) because these fairytale films are magical and awesome and look great and the theme of the second film-
•The Three Musketeers 2011. I haven't read the book but I'm sure it isn't supposed to be an accurate adaption anyway. Oh, how I love this film! The story, the characters, the soundtrack, the costumes *chef's kiss*! ❤
•The Selection series by Amy Ewing. I like the plot idea of the Bachelor but I prefer it to be openly "scripted" instead of being a fake reality show (I've still watched a lot of seasons though🤫).
•The Sorcerer's Apprentice. One of the more serious films with Nicholas Cage in them 😂. It's a great film in general that I can watch over and over again.
•Die Edelsteintrilogie aka The Precious Stone Trilogy, which I read in German (Hallo an alle, die Deutsch sprechen, ihr könnt mir auch gerne auf Deutsch schreiben, solange euer Vokabular nicht zu diffizil ist ;) [translation from German: Hello to everyone who speaks German, you can write to me in German as well if you'd like to, as long as your vocabulary isn' too [foreign, rarely used word for difficult] ;])
•Eragon. The film. 2006. Just kidding, I thought a short comedy break may be needed after so many Fandoms 😊. Or is this just me being tired of writing them down? 🤭 Whoooa, no, I scrolled upwards and this is a lot! Sorry if this is too much for you reading this. 😶 Anyway, don't be sad if you actually happen to have liked this film; it's still better than a lot of others. Though I've never heard of someone who liked it. I'd be curious to know though... In any case: good luck to all Inheritance Cycle fans on the new adaption. 🍀
•The Witcher (Netflix TV series, otherwise I don't know much except for some random facts like Triss' hair color in different types of media 🤣)
•The School for Good and Evil series by Soman Chainani (who knows what the Netflix adaption will be like?). I particularly like the first three books.
•How I Met Your Mother. The way it ended made me sad but I still liked it overall.
I may also write about things that I'm not a big fan, or any fan of, but I don't need to list these here.
If you want to you can ask me about my perception, opinion, theory or maybe even explanation (maybe of something less complex 😅) about something from these Fandoms. When you do so, could you please mark spoilers, especially if you're referring to a Fandom with a lot of content? 🙏 Even if I've seen/read said content, others have maybe not and it would be a shame to spoil a part of experiencing a film/book for the first time. Perhaps I won't respond quickly: don't take this personally, I don't plan on checking tumblr regularly (hopefully I won't distract myself too much with Tumblr😮) and when I see a notification I can still be a little shy so it may take some time to formulate an answer I'm content with. 🤷
Anyway, a lovely day to everyone who's reading this🤗

A full report on Tuesday
Here are a few photos from Tuesday (two of our rad apartment in Reykjavik and one of a box of graham cookies that we love!), which was a travel day, so I didn't take many snaps!
So, I'll write a bit here about our journey to the airport Tuesday morning in Oslo, our plane flight, our experience getting to the Reykjavik Airbnb, and our evening just settling in (in the rain).
Our Uber was a tight fit! We ended up fitting all of our luggage in, but it made for a bit of a cramped backseat ride for the kids and me. Now, I don't know if you've ever flown from a large European airport, and I can only speak to this phenomena at airports in a few major European cities and to how it was in Chile, but when you check in in the main departures lobby, there are dozens of numbered check-in counters and a big board that tells you which one to go to. It's not like the airlines always have set ones, like at U.S. airports. And historically, we have found ourselves on the wrong end of some very long lines at these Euro check-in counters!
Anyway, this is a story of one of those times ;)
What happened with us is that I checked us in online and had to only print our baggage tags, but apparently there was an error (and I later discovered what it was) and we actually had to get in one of these massive queues... and it was so long it appeared we'd miss our flight to Reykjavik if we didn't find some intervention.
So, I went to the SAS help counter specifically for asking for help and the lady was very flat and firm that she could do nothing nor even look into any matter concerning baggage. So, back we went to the long line, and we waited a bit longer and the clock was ticking down. Then after a while I went back to the baggage tag printing area and tried again; I got the error again. Ugh! Another customer was asking for help and this other roving help lady was very helpful and recommended we ask some guy at a desk near the massive queue for help since our plane was leaving soon...and help he did! We made our way after a relatively short wait to a desk and the agent there revealed my error: I'd accidentally checked all four bags to Cece's name. So it was due to my hastiness that we ended up with the stressful situation of line-waiting and nail-biting. Anyway, we got through security, got to our gate, had still to wait a bit, and then got on our plane. It was a smooth and easy 2.5-hour flight to Reykjavik with relatively non-bumpy air, which I still contend is more common than in the U.S. which, and I have no idea why but I stand by this theory, has more dramatically bumpy air space.
We landed at Reykjavik, got our bags without event, and called Thrifty car rental and waited for their shuttle. Now, we'd really struggled finding a car booking that wasn't a million dollars a day 😆 ... prices had been so high for daily car rentals in Reykjavik! But so too are they everywhere!! So, one day a few weeks ago I was looking on Expedia, *again*, and we saw a listing that was $17 dollars a day through Thrifty!! Soooo, this was clearly an error, but we snatched it up and took a bunch of screenshots.
Well, within two days, we got the fateful email from Thrifty that said, well, we've caught our error, but too bad for you! It continued, we will give you a discount, mobile wifi, and an upgrade. We felt frustrated, but had no option but to accept. As I said, rental car rates in Iceland are insane.
Ok, so we got our rental car on Tuesday when we arrived and made our way, 45 minutes, from Keflavik airport to Reykjavik. But, you know where we stopped? Somewhere we've always been a bit curious about in Iceland. Don't laugh. Costco! This may seem like a really American thing to do, but, really, we were so curious. Turns out, and this might be very unsurprising to you, it is very similar to a U.S. Costco -- same muffins even ;) The kids were transfixed by the lady decorating sheet cakes behind plexiglass so they watched her for about twenty minutes while Eric and I got some skyr (Icelandic yogurt), milk, soy milk, berries, and, for Eric, beets. After Costco, we tried --unsuccessfully-- for like thirty minutes to find our Airbnb! This was these folks' first time Airbnbing out their place and they didn't have the address input correctly on their Airbnb owner’s side so when Airbnb populated the directions, it took us to the wrong place :( Ugh! We called them in Italy and we ultimately found it!
Ok -- and here is where I am picking back up after ending here before . . .
So,  the couple, and their two daughters, that live in this apartment are in Italy right now, so they’re Airbnb-ing their place out; their parents/parents-in-law live downstairs and one of the sisters lives below that in another apartment.  This row house is really a family thing!  The Grandpa-aged guy-- so, the father/father-in-law of the people whose apartment we’re staying in-- is the contact for us.  And we met him when we checked in.  Such a cool Icelandic dude!  He introduced us to the keys which, unfortunately, did not work.  He said his son and daughter-in-law had had them cut right before they left, but didn’t check them.  So, he couldn’t even get the apartment door key to work.  But since it is basically all family up and down in this house, except for the top-floor apartment, which has a renter in it, we have just had to resort to leaving our apartment door unlocked.  We can, after the Grandpa-aged guy used WD40, use a key to open the door that goes to the street. So that is a success ;)
Since we are the first people to stay in this apartment as an Airbnb, they did not have everything figured out -- like, they did not have an instructions sheet, with wifi and laundry information, on it ready for us when we arrived. We got all of that figured out within a few hours, though.  As you can see in the photos, this apartment is beautiful and it is so large!  Now, we are staying a bit out of the real city center, where we’ve stayed before; we are a bit east.  But, we can still walk to the main drag -- Laugavegur -- in about 25 minutes.  This apartment, since it is home to a kindergartner, has a lot of toys, so the kids really would happily just stay in the apartment during our whole time here and play ;)  We have tried to create time for them to do just that.
One fun tidbit: the Grandma-aged woman of this house has actually been to Albuquerque!  Of all people, it is the Unsers who she worked for as an au pair many years ago!
I will write again tomorrow to fill you in on our Wednesday when we did SO MUCH sightseeing and adventuring.  And now, Thursday has come to a close, so I have to find time to write about that too, when we did SO MUCH MORE!!  I have oodles of gorgeous photos to share, so I will pop a few of those up on the blog soon.  Bye!

Luna’s December ‘21 Fic Rec List: Oscar fandom, Pedro fandom + Triple Frontier 🧡
Still catching up with my monthly rec lists! November’s is here.
I wrote this on a train sorry for any mistakes.
I didn’t read or write a ton during December but I’m sharing the amazing stories I was able to read and reblog below!
Please do give them a read and show some love to these amazing creators! Not kidding when I say it could really make someone’s day (At least- I know that’s how happy I feel if I get a kind comment or RB 😆🧡)!
Please see individual fics for warnings and ratings. Many of the blogs (including mine) are 18+
Benny Miller
Burning, by @itssmashedavo
Benny Miller x f!reader
This is a follow-up to the phenomenal Wildfire. I love both parts so much I can’t even tell you. Reader fights wildfires and it feels like Benny is one (he’s written so blazing and warm in this two-parter) which is maybe why she feels so perfect a match with him. This series is one of my absolute fave takes on Benny that I’ve read so far, AND reader is so fleshed out I’m fascinated by her too. Can’t recommend (both parts) enough! In this one I especially loved the insights into Benny and Will’s relationship too.
Oscar characters
Holiday Traditions, by @youvebeenlivingfictional
Jonathan (SFaM) x reader
I love all of Dany’s stuff. I’m terrible at keeping up with series, in general (Dany has so many super creative ideas you should check out! 🤯) but I do manage to dive into some one-shots and I’m never disappointed. I really wanna know what happens next as well 😅 I know it’s no longer holiday season but I think you’ll like it anyway.
The House at the Edge of the World, by @acrossthesestars
Santiago Garcia x fem!reader
This examines Santi dealing with the aftermath of parental death and oh boy this is so sad but so beautiful. The descriptions! Of the house! And of the emotions and the memories and the here and now and how all of that is woven so seamlessly together. 🥺 I found this SO atmospheric and haunting and moving and so very very vivid. Gorgeously angsty.
Afternoon Delights by @acedameron
Nathan Bateman x f!reader
It’s just yummy 😊 Sorry for the brevity of the description, but it just has my brain feeling happy and going NOM. CUDDLING and NAPS? With our fave asshole? So wonderfully done 😊
Pedro Characters
Untitled, by @kteague
Javier Peña x reader
Small but perfectly formed. This crossed my dash and I was left feeling incredibly soft and fuzzy in no time at all. Even if you’re not in Javi feels right now, this will take you there. *does grabby hands* It’s just so damn CUTE 🥺
Smooth Like Sea Glass, by @spanishmossmagnolia
Frankie Morales x fem!reader (unamed canon partner)
As someone who grew up on the coast I really relate to a sea-themed metaphor. I loved this as it’s such a tender (and a little sad and also a little fluffy) study of Frankie 🥺 And I enjoyed seeing this take on his canon partner, as it’s not something I often come across!
What did I write that month?
Only a few bits this time! Some Nathan fun and some Will angst too.
Am I the asshole? (Nathan B x fem!reader)
The brightest suns (Will miller x fem!reader)
Nathan Bateman blurb (GN!reader has a migraine)
