Hello, and welcome to my blog! My name is Jax, my pronouns are they/them, and I’m an old dirty bastard. I have 27+ experience with RP overall, mostly written and TTRPG.

i started roleplaying on a forum back in 2011 when i was twelve and continued there until i was about nineteen and then they took the option to roleplay there away, making it just a fanfic site. during that time i've roleplayed in several fandoms, but my continuous hyperfixation is the vampire diaries, so i always go back to those characters or that universe out of comfortability. i didn't join tumblr's rpc until around the end of 2021. i wanted to join group rps but every time i'd join them they'd disband 2 days after and i took that as i was the problem and made a solo blog instead LOL

RULES

1.) Hey everyone, my name is Klemmie! I am nonbinary & my pronouns are they/them or she/her, I prefer they/them though! I am of age at 29 years old and have been RPing since about 2010, over a whole decade! Due to my age there might be NSFW on this blog at times but it will always be under a read more and tagged. On this subject, most muses are of age or have a verse where they are, please be aware of this and all main verse ages for my muses are on their bios on the character page.

2.) I am working a job which I usually only have a couple days off in the week and most evenings free. However activity and replies may be slow or low due to the nature of this being a multi-muse blog and my energy levels on any day. I will do my best to pop in at least once or twice a week with the intentions of queuing up any replies that I owe and once in a blue moon do I reply quickly and without queuing. But just to make everyone aware that this is how this blog operates!

3.) I am good with a mix of jumping into things without a plot; such as memes, open starters, random things are good. But sometimes I prefer plotting, even if only a little bit, especially when it comes to a pre-established relationship that isn’t the canon between two characters; this includes children of muses. I am okay with writing with said muses but I would like to have a bit of plotting to this as my version of the muse or muses as parents in question is not the one canon to yours as such, I need to make sure I know whats going on or all your gonna get from my muse is either ’ I have no kids ’ or i dont believe you, so i tend to avoid that if no prior communication has happened before hand! I do also like screaming about plots that both parties might want to do and discuss between us to work out a possible thread idea?

4.) This blog is multi-fandom, verse and ship. Meaning all threads even if tagged as in the same verse for a muse are their own story and thread between our muses, this includes for relationships, unless its a story that has been discussed and plotted between all involved.

We are also Crossover-friendly here! I love mashing up fandoms and seeing what happens!

5.) As stated in my first ruling, NSFW themes and topics may be present, if I feel that the topic, even if it’s gore and not sexual nsfw, is too heavy or unsafe to just have out on display I will always put it under a read more and tagged the triggers like; tw;__

6.) Continuing with the point above, I will not tolerate certain things like underage sexual content or abuse or any nsfw content with minors - this goes for muns & muses and hanging, if you are ever unsure of anything please ask me. This is also a if I ever forget or don’t tag something that is a trigger for you please just message me and I will tag them accordingly.

7.) Unless your muse has some supernatural abilities or in my muse’s canon knows things about them, please don’t use information that is like their weaknesses and things like that in our threads until my muse reveals them or it is revealed in a thread, I class this as meta rping/writing/gaming?? and it’s no fun???

8.) I’m okay with multiple writing styles, I don’t have the need for anyone to match my length in replies, I know I can get lengthy at times, but as long as it’s more than one sentence or is appropriate for the type of thread we are writing together, because sometimes even I just want to do shorter threads, though I do prefer more written and longer ones.

9.) I’m more into story driven threads, ones that develop my muses and yours hopefully, ones that develop a chemistry and relationship between them. These are the kinds of threads I prefer.

10.) I’m open to all plots and relationships, just come hit me up and let’s see what we can come up with!!!

11.) For shipping I am a shipper of chemistry, I am here for the development. But if you feel like our muses are beginning to develop something, please message me and we can talk. I am always up for shippy things and all relationships, I prefer them to be developed and chemistry based. I will not force anything onto anyone if they feel like something isn’t there.

12.) I’m no biggie on spelling, grammar is also not too much of an issue, but a clear grammar is preferred. As long as I can read and understand it for a reply we are good. If I am having trouble I will ask you to clarify.

13.) When sending in an ask, please specify a muse, one thing on my anxiety is when I get an ask without some specifying, sometimes I will throw someone randomly if I can but if not I get anxious about it, so unless you state one or that its for any muse I will not answer it, unless I know you & muse or muses well enough to know who it’s from or I have come and asked you to clear up who it was for.

14.) OOC =/= IC. I will not tone down my muses for anyone, but I don’t agree with their morals and choices all the time. OOC is not the same as IC.

15.) I have a habit of forgetting to reply to threads, if it’s been more than a week since I have replied, give me a poke. I may have forgotten or lost muse, this doesn’t mean we can start more threads and get back to it.

Important Reminders

The mod team has observed a number of conversations lately about shipping, and the uncertainty around whether or not a mun is willing to ship and under what circumstances. This also includes whether or not a mun considers ask memes to be TOAverse canon for their muse. While we don't have a rule requiring guidelines or a mun page on your blog, we highly suggest making one and including the following: your preference for post formatting, your shipping preferences and limitations, whether or not you accept unprompted asks, and whether or not you treat responses to ask memes as canon for your muse (or if you have a tag to distinguish those that are AUs and those that are for TOAverse's continuity).

When it comes to judging applications, the mod team looks at the following: 1) Are the three interview questions answered clearly? The writing sample does not have to be a traditional interview, but we must see how your muse wound up in Fódlan, their strengths/weaknesses, and how they view themselves in their own story. These things don't have to be answered by the characters themselves, but the mods must be able to see each question answered in some capacity. For weaknesses in particular, these should be flaws that the character is still contending with. If a character has gotten over their weakness, it's no longer a weakness. You should also make sure that we can see how the weakness is a weakness as well. For example, simply telling us that a character is too nice wouldn't be accepted as a weakness. Showing how the character gets swindled or taken advantage of constantly because they're too nice, on the other hand, would work. 2) How would this muse interact in TOA's setting? Introspective apps are fine, but not always good at showcasing this. In many cases, not including some sort of interaction in your app leaves out important aspects of your character. On top of that, you're applying for a character in an RP group. If you find that writing out an interaction is difficult for you, the character is likely to have a difficult time interacting in the group as well. 3) Character voice. Explicit dialogue is always good, but absent of that, the prose should suit the character. It's jarring for us to read a somber, serious reflection piece for a loud and bombastic character, and vice versa.

The mod team takes all of the feedback we receive on our monthly forms seriously, but there are many things we can't immediately act on, whether it be because we don't have enough information, we need to deliberate on a course of action, or that the issue in question requires our observation for a while. Impartiality has always been our code when it comes to handling issues, and a good handful of the submissions we get are often emotionally charged. It usually takes us a while to tease apart the hard facts from the gossip, especially when the information we receive is anonymous and redacted. Please understand that we don't know everything that goes on in private, and it's unfair to us to treat us as though we can read minds. We can't fix what we don't know about, and likewise, we're not going to act if we don't have the full story either. The best way to see problems resolved is to contact us directly. This helps to remove some of the ambiguity around hearsay, and allows us to ask followup questions for more information. We may not always be able to do what you want us to do, but we can at least explain why not in these situations. We can also provide you with updates on the issue. None of this is possible if everything we get comes from anonymous sources.

@fasciinating - look. I have been obsessed with jay's spock for years and I will die obsessed with him. at this point, I'm pretty sure jay knows more about vulcans than anyone at paramount and that's that on that. her spock rings so true, even in AUs, it's inspiring. she's a great friend and so easy to throw ideas around with. like, girl, fashion designer pris and tech guy spock? how did we even come up with that?

@arc-77 - LORE. Fordo-mun has spent years developing this character and it really shows. it's so cool seeing all of that interconnectedness and planning come through. really gives Fordo a sense of life and depth. plus, the mun's the type of roleplay partner I genuinely aspire to be. his curiosity and care about his muse use and his partners'. he asks such amazing character and worldbuilding questions, and it regularly brings up things I never would have thought of.

@debelltio - senpai noticed me a few years ago and I'm still not over it. like, okay, first of all, alistair is one of the most detail-oriented muns I know. alistair has DONE THE RESEARCH and learned a minimum of 3x more about orson krennic than I even thought there would have been available. damn. iconic. and that continues to the character-building that he does outside of canon. he's also one of the smartest people I've ever had the fortune of meeting, and one of the kindest. if you want to follow someone whose every thread and meta inspires you as a writer, you can't go wrong with this blog.

mun =/= muse. writing about something =/= condoning it. i am mixed-race and lgBT, if that matters to you. otherwise - all of my muses here, especially loux and sortia, are horrible people and absolutely not for the faint of heart. loux and sortia are highly dangerous criminals despite outward appearances, and will likely not care about your muse(s) so as to further their own ends. loux is a bit more flexible, capable of kindness and attachment, but sortia is absolutely not - and both are unafraid of the consequences of their actions. vayn, on the other hand, is a sweetheart, but he's highly inappropriate, meaning he will probably try to come onto your muse(s). he's very flirtatious and a bit handsy. furie is a religious oracle, but he doesn't talk much - still willing to commit murder and blasphemy. hydre is a wild card, unpredictable, and is inherently cannibalistic as well as the harbinger of the wizard apocalypse. asuka is highly inappropriate, wild, and strangely pure, and will probably put up with anything your muse does to them except breaking their heart (because that will kill them, literally). kaede is a self-harmer and sometimes very difficult to handle, both emotionally and physically, and will often throw himself into danger. crovita is a government agent specialized in a wide range of things, and is probably the most normal of them all despite all the line-crossing she's done in her work. viresca, though helpful and generally good, is on a bit of a warpath herself and doesn't mind getting her hands dirty in process. interactions with them could probably go off the rails.  

important addition: as an aside, pop culture has a noticeable influence on my lore (ex. dumpster fairies from wwdits, beholders from d&d, botchlings & drowners from the witcher, arthurian legend, various mythos, the list goes on). i am not shy about this. while i do borrow, i try to put a little bit of my own spin on things, but there isn't much revolutionizing going on here. maybe subversion, maybe flagrant cliches, but everything on this blog is meant to have a sort of 'melting pot' vibe with both original and existing-in-media ideas all mixed together. the world itself is like... baldur's gate, the witcher, true blood, and hp had a weird baby together, best way i can put it.

 ⸻Content.

i don’t shy away from disturbing/gory/traumatic topics. i don’t see it as a moral failure to write it. fiction is the safest possible way to explore our fears, interests, catharses, and concerns regardless of whether it's done properly or not. that being said, there are some things i won’t write: minor/adult, graphic noncon, and incest outside of backstories and such. otherwise, i’m very flexible and find darker or taboo subjects worth exploring creatively - zero judgments here. all triggering content will be tagged as ’____ /’, and erotic content will be tagged as ‘nsft /’. needless to say, this is a 18+ only blog. i will not interact with anyone under the age of 18, 21+ is my preference. as an aside, a lot of my writing will focus on themes of immorality / amorality, drug use / trafficking, poaching, enslavement and imprisonment, murder, extreme ambition, tunnel vision, sex, gore, allusions to sexual assault (backgrounds), manipulation, general criminal activity, necromancy, blood magic, experimentation, cannibalism, human sacrifice, occasional body horror, negative & positive character development, toxic relationships, obsession, family trauma - things like that. but i’m more than happy to write silly and lighthearted things as well. i do love some sweet fluffy goodness! 

 ⸻Posting.

all interactions are mutuals only. i’m not the fastest writer, don't always have muse, and will take my time for serious threads. it may take me a few weeks to over a month, sometimes a fair bit longer, from time to time to reply to a thread or answer an ask. on occasion, i may go haywire on the dash and disappear into the night, but i will always be using my queue. i tend towards multi-para, but will do one-liners or simpler, shorter-lengthed threads. pretty sure i’m using the beta editor as well. oh! i regularly delete my OOC posts, so you won’t have to worry too much about dash clutter in that respect. i tend toward inbox memes, so you may see more of those than other things.

 ⸻Communication.

i’m just a little bit on the awkward & shy side and may have a hard time reaching out for plotting at first. what i do to mitigate this is generally interact with posts and send in icebreaker asks. i’ll also reblog plenty of memes and my interest check so that there’re always opportunities to get things going. that being said, much as i love, love to gush and plot and just overall have a good time chatting about our muses, it’s sometimes hard for me to maintain conversations or even start them, even if we've been writing together for a while or were just in the middle of a discussion as i get overwhelmed from time to time and need to take breaks; it is not intentional to leave anyone hanging. which i try to compensate for with other interactions (asks, comments, etc.) until i have the brain power. all i ask is that you be patient with me, because i certainly do not mean to leave you hanging or feeling like i'm not interested! you're free to poke me any time!

 ⸻Shipping. 

big fan, big time. you will see a lot of this on this blog and i make no apologies for it. i think it's weird that people hate shipping on the shipping website. i love complicated romances, desperate reunions, all things smutty, toxic relationships, platonic relationships, found family, mentor/student (platonic), plain old friendships - very open to the topic. communication but mostly chemistry are needed for romantic shipping, as i want my partners to be just as enthused as i am and for the muses to be on the same page. i’ll ship with anyone if the vibe’s right. if you want to ship, just let me know! i'm sure we can figure something out.

so long as we talk about it before hand or it advances the thread, i don’t particularly care about godmodding or powerplaying. it just has to make sense for our plot. my muses are strong, but there are others who are stronger - and crueler - and i won’t ignore that if the power scale is such. your muse can overpower mine? dope, they should, actually! but by this same token, do not underestimate my muses or go in assuming they're weak.

i block tags/posts. if there’s something i don’t want to see, i will simply not see it, no matter what it is, be it the news, internet beef, or things that make me feel like ass for one reason or another. i don’t engage with any of that stuff; i have a personal blog for that sorta thing. also, i do not have any written or visual triggers - except for maggots.

my portrayal of louise will rely HEAVILY on canon divergence and is slightly influenced by mixed media. i draw inspiration from her appearance and personality from batman: assault on arkham and 80s firestorm comics which means frost will be a real asshole to deal with because she's a irredeemable villain but is friendly with monsters unless provoked.

Communicate Communicate Communicate Communicate & Not jumping to conclusions about people & assuming other people's character & intentions & Ask what they mean & if you need clarification on something Ask Them. i promise you things would likely go a lot more smoothly & bad experiences with people not communicating with me/you/us that could've been avoided or at the very least reduced if we simply spoke to one another & less feelings would be hurt.

Stop Vaguing People & Getting Involved In Shit & Being Mean To People For Petty Shit When Things Can Literally Be Communicated In Private Respectfully. civil discussions can go a really long way. if the disrespect or offense in question isn’t malicious, there’s no need to approach the topic maliciously. you’d be surprised at just how much can be solved by just asking someone to clarify something.
